What I have an issue with is their communication. I had an appointment booked today and even received a email to confirm 2 days before which I responded to immediately. To my surprise, when I show up to my appointment, the receptionist tells me the sugarist wasn't there and they tried to call me to reschedule my appointment. I actually never received any calls, texts, or emails from them.The receptionist claimed they couldn't leave me a voicemail. I seriously doubt they ever tried to contact me to reschedule! There was no other sugarist who could wax me, the only option they gave me was to reschedule me for a different date. There's nothing ruder than wasting someone else's time! This could have easily been avoided and they could have retained a customer if they didn't drop the ball with communication.

Before the appointment, I showed multiple reference pictures and was hoping that she would understand that I have lighter/feminine features and didn't want anything super dark or heavy. Although the lashes themselves were not badly done, they looked nothing like what I requested. I ended up with a very bold mega volume look that did not flatter my face at all. It completely changed my appearance in a way I wasn't comfortable with. I reached out respectfully afterward and explained that they were too bold and not what I asked for, especially since this was my first lash experience. I asked if she could accommodate me with a removal or some kind of correction, but I was told I would have to pay again for both the removal and a new set. For $120, I expected better communication and a result closer to the references I provided. If you like very bold/full lash styles, her work may work for you, but if you want a softer wispy cat-eye look, I would be cautious and make sure you discuss it very thoroughly beforehand.

I made a last-minute appointment due to my busy work schedule, and several other places weren't able to help me the same day. Even though they were very busy, Plush Derma truly went above and beyond. From the very first phone call, Karina, the receptionist, was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. She answered all of my questions without rushing me and explained everything so clearly over the phone. Even though they didn't have a room available at that moment, she still took the time to accommodate me by scheduling me at a different location within the same Plush Derma clinic network.
