Their attention to service, and expertise in what they sell is a testament to this. I came in looking for a new center channel, which they were able to get me within a few days. When I came in to pick it up, they spent the next two hours demoing a variety of speakers and electronics. They knew I wasn't looking to buy, but was still curious. When the time came to upgrade two more speakers, not only were they prompt in getting me what I wanted, but they also helped me exchange my recent purchase for a different model. Basically, I bought a speaker in one finish and then later wanted it in a different finish. They helped me out with exchanging this even a few months after the sale. Never once were they pushy in trying to up-sell me on more expensive gear, nor were they smug or elitist when I told them what equipment I was running. I don't have crazy expensive stuff, but I think it's good for what I need. I appreciate that they realize their customers may have different needs and budgets. They made me feel like my business mattered to them even though I was only spending a modest amount on three speakers. An added bonus, they also happen to be in a low sales tax part of Naperville, witch saved me about 3%. That said, I would have chosen to work with them regardless. Bottom line. I tried to remove the stem but had issues. I called the first Plumbers Supply in my Internet search. They recommended me to Hom Plumbing Supply. I worked with Mike who advised me on how to remove the valve stem. I brought it in to the shop and he then supplied me with the proper replacement parts. My outside faucet now works perfectly with no leaks. I highly recommend these guys.

When you sell merchandise you then expect the buyer to resell more to the next person which is why I found this transaction to be disheartening. I recently inherited some silver jewelry. I cannot wear silver. Because of the positive reviews and that my husband used Alvarez to purchase batteries for his watch he took the jewelry to them. The jewelry was weighed and a price was quoted. My husband asked if the quote would still be honored the following day. Alvarez said yes. After coming home and discussing it with me we decided to accept the offer. My husband went back to Alvarez the SAME day and he lowered the price from the original offer. Obviously my husband asked why? The WOMAN said, its because you probably took the jewelry to other places and came back here because our offer was better. Huh? Seriously? What a rude and unprofessional thing to say.
