I am & have always been someone who prefers, when I am shopping for electronics, to have the assistance of a Pro from the start because I hate wasting my time & would grow to be FRUSTRATED to learn that items I THOUGHT were an ideal pick​, turned out not to be so I appreciated ​being approached without hesitation. Due to my TBI, I have difficulty remembering the details of key points of a conversation unless I'm able to connect a descriptive keyword to a word/term I'm wanting to remember long-term. That being said, I cannot recall the associate's name who helped me, but I THINK he was wearing glasses. I know that's not much help, but it is something! All in all, this was an enjoyable shopping experience! I want to say that I cannot find a phone # for them online... through Google Maps, reviews, or Yelp & I know that this simple fact will make a person feel sketchy about doing business with them, but don't let this phase you. Why? Think of it this way... if they put out their phone, HUNDREDS of people will call every day asking technical questions or about inventory availability, & that will require an employee to be dedicated to working the phones & businesses don't want that!

If it didn't they wouldn't be human beings as we all make mistakes, right? But I am so impressed with how hard the team works to correct those issues, big or small. Unfortunately due to water and environmental conditions the bottom rusted and leaked, necessitating replacement. Abt could not have been more helpful, in this time of need. The Abt office (Nathan) immediately and fully addressed the situation. The Abt plumbers delivered fast and truly excellent replacement with a new Reliance 50 gallon hot water heater and installed all the necessary copper pipe, valves and fittings---including full labor at no charge. The plumbers (Russell Cartwright and Tyler Fite) installing the unit were very meticulous and highly competent in every detail. They also were extremely helpful and courteous. I have used Abt exclusively for over forty years and recommended their products and service to numerous other home owners--no one has been disappointed. Initially I had some speakers installed in my whip, then an amp, then a subwoofer. The crux of the issue was the technical abilities and quality of work from "the Guy" who does the car stereo work/installation - Robbie. I had to go back for consistent re-work, things were not operating as they should, the stereo would turn off when I turned the vehicle off (not consistent with factory settings), the amp was not hooked up correctly, it was overall poor quality work. And after my third visit, and spending 3G's Robbie wouldn't even talk to me or explain what he did, they just handed the keys over and gave me the bill, and the job was still not correct. This, coupled with broken promises from the old man with glasses who promised me he'd knock a hundred dollars off my bill - and he never did. He overcharged me. And furthermore; he tells really bad jokes. I ended up going to "Soundz Plus" in Naperville to correct all of this dumps eff ups, and the professionalism and quality of work compared to Mobile Electronics puts them to shame. If you are serious about having a quality job done in the arena of car stereos I would highly suggest not wasting your money (which I did) here, and go to Soundz Plus in Naperville.
