My only complaint was in the area of how dirty the RV was when we picked it up. They had hosed it off but there was still dirt everywhere inside and out. The woman handling customer service is rude; she hangs up the phone when she can't clarify…read morequestions about their exorbitant prices. They get into your vehicle without authorization and drive it. This company is a total price scam and completely unprofessional in every way. My company has never put anyone behind the wheel without a CDL, and our trucks are never out of service; unfortunately, the driver couldn't communicate in English with the officer, and without justification, they called a tow truck. The tow truck couldn't handle the vehicle--I still don't get it; maybe their machinery lacks the power to move such high-end vehicles, haha--so they drove the car away without permission, creating a huge risk of an accident since they aren't authorized under my insurance policy to drive it. If an accident had occurred due to their irresponsible, unauthorized driving, it would have been a disaster. The vehicle was parked at a truck stop, not blocking traffic, and the paperwork was in order. How could they call a tow truck to take it to their yard when the poor tow truck couldn't even handle the vehicle? Just because this company wants to make money, they hooked my vehicle up without my permission and then charged me nearly $4,000 for three hours--haha, it's incredible how dirty they play. I asked for explanations, and they even charged me for the diesel they supposedly used--but that fuel came from *my* truck, man, haha. THERE ARE MANY BETTER, MORE PROFESSIONAL COMPANIES; don't go to this one--they are terrible.

We had ordered our truck a month ahead of time and the day before pick up I was notified that the…read moretruck wouldn't be available at this location. We were directed to go to the one on Waco Drive and that is where our truck was. So we drove to the location and started the paperwork. I had purchased the insurance and wanted to make sure what it covered, so I asked a LOT of questions, such as. . ."case scenario, we pull into a fuel station, the truck doesn't clear the awning and there is some damage to said awning. . .are we covered for that awning ?" Answer from the customer service guy "yes. . .you have complete coverage". . .I asked a few more "case scenario" questions about the coverage and was lead to believe that any accidental damage was covered in our policy. So we rent and head to the apartment to load up. My spouse misjudged space (because neighbors wouldn't move their cars so we could put the truck to load in) and accidently clipped the corner of the apartment building. I immediately called the police for an accident report and called Uhaul to let them know what happened. They said we would be contacted by their agent in a few days. We got the call and were informed that they weren't going to cover the damage. . .their insurance policy doesn't cover anything other than their truck. I told the adjustor exact questions I asked the customer service person and his answers. The adjustor stated, and I quote. . ."customer service people at the rental locations are NOT insurance adjustors and are unaware of what is exactly covered in these policies". Great. . so Uhaul has people, working in their facilities that don't know what is/is not covered in the insurance policy they sell. . .so, this accident went against our car insurance policy. So, moral of the story. . .don't believe what Uhaul customer service people tell you about the insurance policy. . .because "they aren't adjustors and are unaware of what is exactly covered in these policies". . .you've been warned if you rent from Uhaul. Me ?? I wont' be renting from them again. . .lesson learned. . .I'll let movers do the moving for us.

Marcus was personable and professional and kept things moving along quickly which was important because I was on a tight schedule. When I got back to my house, I realized that I didn't get the 12 free moving blankets that were included in the U-Box contract. I called Marcus just to make sure his paperwork showed those free blankets before I headed back over to pick them up. But instead ... wait for it ... Marcus said he'd bring them right over. And he did. And not an hour later, but in less than 10 minutes. It was like being in the nice version of the Twilight Zone. I'm 59 and I can't remember that ever happening before. Thanks again, Marcus!

The latch had been fastened with sheet‑metal screws, which sheared out -- an obvious poor choice for a critical load-bearing component. Fortunately no one was hurt but cargo security and road safety were compromised. Customer service was disappointing. Both acknowledged the issue but provided no timely resolution, repair plan, or clear next steps.
