Terrible! I reserved a trailer for a one way move over 3 weeks ago only to get a call the afternoon before my pick up time to say they do t have a trailer I reserved. The closest one was a two hour drive up north and on memorial weekend Friday late afternoon I would not have made it in time. Why they couldn't send someone this day to get it so I would have it the flowing morning was something I asked and the employees can only say " unfortunately we do t do that". So instead of making it right for the customer they always say " unfortunately". They can get away with this because no one else rents moving trailers. They rented me a truck for the same price but no tow dolly available for my vehicle and I can't drive two vehicles at once so I have to hire someone to drive my truck to my relocation and drive the uhaul truck back. Uhaul has the market tied up so they can treat people like garbage. read more

I am so disgusted with U-Haul! My friend Sandra was visiting from out of town and got a call from a relative that her Mother's stove was not operational. I am in Phoenix and her Mother is 85-years-old and lives on the Navajo Nation reservation. Sandra rented a truck from U-Haul so that she could buy a stove and transport it to her Mother's house right away so that her Mother would be able to cook and eat. U-Haul charged her over $600 for a two-day rental! Sandra was able to get the stove to her Mother and, driving all night, got the truck back to U-Haul in less than 24 hours. They would not refund her any money on the two day rental and then they charged her another $50 for all the mileage! That is highway robbery! read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could! Horrible experience! My husband and I were moving to a different state a couple weeks ago and rented a 15' van from them. Turns out it had a wiring problem! So when hooked up to a vehicle transport trailer the lights on the trailer wouldn't work. We were not aware of this since we were picking the trailer up the day after WE ALREADY PACKED OUR HOME INTO THE VAN! We had to travel from one location to another trying to find a van that was available to rent. Once we did, we had to move ALL OUR STUFF FROM ONE VAN TO ANOTHER! WITH NO HELP FROM UHAUL STAFF! Wasting 6 hours of our time, money, sweat and tears! THEY DONT CHECK THEIR VANS AT THIS LOCATION! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! But if you do, make sure you bring a mechanic with you to evaluate any transportation you rent before you hand over your money. SPREAD THE WORD PEOPLE, BECAUSE I KNOW I WILL. read more

I worked for this Uhaul corporate customer service during the summer. I was told during a training class that customers would not be allowed to abuse employees, verbally or physically. I was told that there were policies in place to protect against this type of thing. Well I soon found out that this doesn't include certain people. I was called the N-word by a racist customer and the company did nothing about it. Not even refuse service to the customer. I was very shaken up and didn't understand why this was acceptable. They treated it as if this is a normal thing that happens and it's ok to call their company with this type of language and hate. This was someone who called in with hate in her voice from the beginning of the call. I brought this to the attention of the company, that the policy was overlooked when it came to this incident. Nothing was done. It's 2018. Hate will continue when companies like this won't hold people accountable for their out-dated views and hateful words and attitude. I was a decent worker and was paid very little for all I did. It was not worth it. I will no longer stand by and be silent. I will never work for Uhaul again or give them business. read more

Worse Uhaul experience ever! I would never go to this uhaul ever again. Guy at the counter was extremely rude and unhelpful. It was my first time renting a truck at uhaul and he seemed annoyed with the questions I was asking. They clearly don't inspect their trucks. Gas needle was broken and we were told truck had a full tank of gas. We only drove 16 miles and we chose to fill up the tank because if not they charge 5 dollars a gallon!!!! I put 20 dollars of gas and the truck still needed more so it clearly did not have a full tank when we got it. When I explained what happened the guy at the counter (same guy from earlier) was very unhelpful and just told me to call his manager... it's the closest uhaul to my house but I would rather drive to a farther one than deal with them ever again!!! read more

I would give this store a zero if I could! I went in to fill my propane tank at 6:30pm today on a Monday, the guy sitting behind the counter then lied to me said they don't fill tanks past 6:30 the sign on the window says they fill them 7 days a week and there were two guys sitting in the store doing nothing! I then said OK then got in my truck called another store which got me to customer service they are supposed to fill tanks until seven. I then went inside and told the guy I was on the phone with customer service his name is Addison fricker. A tall white guy with a beard in his early 30s. He then refused to refill the tank again I said OK I will go some where else that wants business he said OK did not even care. All this time I'm on the phone with customer service he then runs outside after realizing he could get in trouble then rudly rushes to the tank like I was inconveniencing him fills the tank leaves it there and said go inside and pay. I'm like wow. Unbelievable service worst ever. I could not believe this was a corporate owned store . I highly recommend going to another location this guy was soooo rude and I own a business I wonder what would of happened if I was the owner of u Hall and was treated like that. The worst Uhaul location in the country, they lie about mileage, don't put fuel in the truck, I believe they do something to the gas gage. I rented a truck, I traveled one mile and the tank was empty, I had to buy gas to move and buy gas to return it! They claimed I drove twenty miles and I had only moved one mile away from the old location, that's 3-4 miles at best. They had the same little tricks when a friend recently moved! Use this location at your own....believe me you will be at risk! read more
