This was my second rental experience at this location. My first experience (see original review below) was NOT hassle-free (the equipment I had reserved well in advance wasn't available)! Ultimately the store provided a larger truck with ample discounts to compensate for the higher rate and additional hassle. This rental was completely hassle-free:  the reservation process was quick and easy; the equipment was available as arranged, bothpickup and return were smooth and efficient; and the price was reasonable! ------ Previous Review -- Four Stars (* * * *) Checking-out was easier than checking-in! A system-wide inability to schedule equipment made this reservation the usual, (and entirely all too common) hassle-ridden process that always works out in the end because the Company ultimately finds a way to "make it right!" This company has the worst phone system and communication I've ever seen. We scheduled two uboxes (like PODS but smaller) on different days. They text you to call them then you're on hold forever. About every five minutes of being on hold they bump you over to another U-Haul, sometimes in another state. Of course those people can't help and they put you back on hold. After almost 30 minutes of this they only wanted to confirm when they were either picking up or dropping off the box. The pickup and delivery person is really good. read more

I have used this U-Haul a few times. It's a great location, they seem to always have plenty of inventory, and they have storage available. In addition, they sell propane in bulk so you can refill tanks of any size. It can be a busy place but the staff are usually Johnny-on-the-spot. Definitely recommend best in the area read more

All I wanted was propane refill. Guy who did it was nice. He said paying at the pump was down. I then went inside the store and waited 20 minutes in line. I was hoping they would let me pay and go but no, had to wait for full rentals to be completed which included cashiers walkng outside. When it was my turn to pay finally,, that took like 5-10 minutes because thier system runs at a snails pace. Moral of story is bring cash to refill propane or dont be in a hurry. read more

I had a great experience with my hitch install. Called on a Sunday, and made a Tuesday appointment. Arrived right at 8am. The 2 guys working were relaxed and nice. I was in the waiting room maybe 30 minutes and the car was done. I DID call ahead to make an appointment and make sure they had the hitch in stock, so I did not have an issue with a distro center not sending it on time or anything like that. Online reviews for the hitch state about a 50 minute install for an average person. In and out in under an hour was faster than expected. The hitch was $20 less than the cheapest place on line and $80 for install was a no brainer. read more

Had appointment to have a hitch installed at 1 o'clock. Was on road with new hitch installed by 1:30! Brandon was very helpful.

Made a reservation to have a hitch installed and I marked that I would wait for the vehicle at haul. I did my part and arrived ten minutes early for my appointment. The person at the desk checked me in, took my keys, and showed me to the waiting room. After TWO HOURS and seeing my car had still been untouched I went back out to see what the problem was. I was told that there were still two hitches ahead of me to install! The person on the phone told me it would take 30-45 minutes which is why I chose to wait with the vehicle. Someone else came out, I'm assuming the "manager" and told me that he thought I was just dropping the vehicle off. I explained that it was marked n the reservation and also when I checked it that I would be waiting. He just said "oh, a miscommunication." That was it. No apology, nothing. I'm sitting in the sad little waiting room right now still waiting. it's been three hours now. Horrible customer service and lack of attention to any detail. read more

I needed a hitch put on my car so that I could use a "garbage can hauler" to get my garbage cans to the curb which is about 1/6 mile from my house. I went online and went through the online process to find a hitch and installer. I purchased the hitch and the installation, paid by credit card and booked an appointment. I arrived at the this location and after waiting 25 minutes was told the hitch hadn't come in but would be there later that day or the next day at the latest as it was only coming from Orlando. I called three days later and the first person to whom I spoke couldn't find any information on the hitch and transferred me to a "hitch specialist" (why?). I waited on the phone for just over 20 minutes and it hung up on me. I called back and was again transferred to a line that told me my wait time would be 40 to 50 minutes. What? I called back and finally got someone who said, "yea, it's here" when would you like to come in. Not even an "I'm sorry" for the trouble. Keep in mind that this has already been paid for. The people I spoke with were unprofessional, impolite, and that place needs a manager with some customer service skills. If you need a hitch go to Orlando. These people are just plain bad at customer service. One more thing. The "waiting room" is wholly inadequate in this time of COVID. Four chairs, all occupied and in an extremely small space. This is a sad little set up. U-Haul should be ashamed. read more

If I can give a 0 star I would. I hired them for moving services from moving to NY to Fl. 1st off SUPER EXPENSIVE but we had no choice at the time. I had to spend $300 extra to "hire" a guy to bring us a portable locker. They charged us almost $1200 for a small unit plus the $300 extra for someone to bring it to us and then wanted to charge us an extra $150 to deliver it to our house in Florida. Pods, double the unit, drop off and picked up right in our driveway for almost the same price. We called the storage unit to have our unit ready to unload (because that way was free). They did not have it ready when we got there and had to wait 45 mins for them to get it. I emptied it out on 7/30. My contract was paid up til Aug 6th. On Aug 7th they charged me for the unit that was EMPTY spend an hour on the phone last month, they said they would take care of it. Today another charge on my empty unit AND no refund on first month. Spent another hour on the phone and they hung up on me! Reported to BBB and my credit card for charging me illegally read more

Poor customer interaction. Poor support for self storage. Contacted 3rd party without my consent regarding my account. I don't recommend this company or their practices. read more
