They post all of these rules and then don't enforce them (no junk cars, one vehicle per space). Neighboring spaces park on or over the line. Space markers are plastic chain that gets moved or broken away. When informed the office does nothing to correct them problem making it very difficult and time consuming to try and park our trailer. The office is vacant more than half of the time. There are better storage places. Don't store here!

I got a good price for the type of unit I wanted but was not communicated the space number. I figured I would go to the office and deal with someone the next day but would lock in the online price. I was surprised to get a text early on my move in date with my gate code and access codes. In a separate email I got the unit number and instructions on how to open the rolling door in case this was your first storage excursion. I was charged online for the first month rent and for a lock. You are automatically comp'd 30 days in insurance. My skeptical nature had low expectations but after using the access code to get into my building I found the lock and keys waiting inside the unit. Ready to go even before the office opened. Wow! This has changed my impression of the hassle I had on my previous experience. A couple things to keep in mind. Unless you go in with proof of insurance they will keep charging you 9.99 a month for Orange door insurance. They raise rents and move you up to a more expensive unit charge on a regular basis so this is best for a short term storage solution.

We went every month to replace the damprids so that the humidity didn't destroy anything. On July 9th as we were moving the items out of storage roaches were discovered. It wasn't until we got our items home and in the garage that we discovered that 75% of our belongings were damaged with Rat feces, rat urine, roaches and roach eggs. Initially we attempted to salvage everything but while unboxing items roaches were running and it became too much to handle. When properly inspected roach eggs were in crevices of box springs, couches, books, strollers, clothes etc. and we could not risk moving it into a brand new home. Ultimately I had to reload the uhaul and take items to dump at my own expense. Attempted to reach out to public storage and I am continuously given the run around. I was finally directed to create a claim with the storage insurance and it seems as if public storage is not taking responsibility. Spoke with the regional manager Rachel and she attempted to give a cookie cutter response and refused to accept that storage 201 is infested with vermin. Left a voicemail with Lauri the district manager and haven't heard back yet. I will provide photos. Please save yourself money and heartache by avoiding ALL Public Storage facilities.

All of the units are ground level and we chose a unit close to the front. We were storing household items so it was important that the unit was climate controlled. They also offer non climate controlled units and have several sizes to choose from. The entire facility is very clean and well maintained. Their prices are competitive. In addition to providing storage they are also an authorized Uhaul dealer. We rented a small truck from them twice for a few hours. We we quoted reasonable price and the convenience was helpful.

And that the employee that force or bullied me into the insurance would be held accountable for their lying. And they strongly said, please consider us in using us in the future because one location out of all the locations in Florida decided to try to force or bully their customers into insurance, knowing that it is optional, not mandatory just to make sales.
