The facility had multiple hurricane closures during that time and also underwent property updates (including solar panels), so it's hard to ignore the possibility that something happened during storage. The most frustrating part: I filed a formal complaint with detailed documentation and never received a single response. If everything goes perfectly, you'll probably be fine. But if something goes wrong, don't expect any follow-up or accountability.

Update: After my original posting on 9/26, 2025, I received a call from the facility manager…read moretelling me prices are set via AI and that I could appeal for a lower price. To be fair, I am moving out anyway because I have relocated to another city over a 1.5hr drive away so whether or not this price increase happened or not I would still be moving out. Suggestion for US Storage Corporate management, or where ever prices are set, is to reconsider their process for pricing to avoid things like this happening. I do not fault the facility manager or other lower level managers who must carry out policy, to be clear I fault the managers setting pricing policy and the managers above them who approved it. For the record, as far as the facility, it is clean and good looking and I was happy with it.

Due to costs of extended stay hotels, and the length of time (4-5 months) before we could possibly move back, family in Texas asked us to move in with them, thus we needed to get a PODS and Tally was very helpful with assisting PODS delivery and pick up as we had to move quickly. Comparatively, I don't know rental prices, yet we were very pleased with a reasonable rate, plus the added assistance of Tally and her staff regarding the logistics of the PODS, etc. We recommend them as our unit was clean and no issues with pests or otherwise. These are outside entrance storage units, thus not climate controlled, inside entrance; meanwhile, that would be a decision one would have to make depending on each's circumstances. For ours, it served its purpose, with Tally and staff being friendly and helpful throughout our ever-changing ordeal. Thanks!

There's a rat infestation in the whole property and for what it seems like they haven't put any effort into getting this under control whatsoever (that is not comforting knowing that anything you put in their storage units is subject to damage from these creatures so don't think about storing any prized possessions in there). If you care about the things you want to store at a storage place then I would highly recommend not to rent from here.
