I love this store! If you like items on sale or writing items this store is someplace you should venture into. They change their stock so not all items are there always. Employ are friendly & helpful.

Typo is where you go to get cute, funny, trendy goods for your home or office. I've ignored this store for years and my friend described it to me as, "Cotton-On's stationary store." That didn't sell me on it either, but once I walked in and REALLY looked at everything and realized it was 40% off I was mad I didn't shop here years ago. I'd describe Typo as a cheaper but cooler version of Urban Outfitters home and office goods. They have cute magnets for every personality, all kinds of crazy cool pens, mousepads, water bottles, weekend bags, calendars, planners, candles... basically it's where you go to get thoughtful out of the box gifts for friends and family. Great place to buy stocking stuffers. I'm a fan now and shop both online and in store for the goods.

On our way out of the food court area of the Ontario Mills, my daughters and I found ourselves intrigued by the word "Typo" which happens to be the name of a shop right outside the food court area.

A Beautiful, Well-Stocked Studio Perfect for Crops and Creative Retreats…read more I attended a 3-day crop here for $79, and it was absolutely worth it. Just keep in mind -- it's a no-frills experience, which means you're paying for the convenience of a very clean, well-organized studio where you can craft comfortably with friends. The space is stocked with every tool, supply, and embellishment you could possibly need for scrapbooking, card making, journaling, or any kind of paper crafting. They even run a tab for you during your crop, which is so convenient when you find last-minute items you want to buy. Location & Space The studio is located in a business park, so it's easy to miss from the street. It's upstairs, but once you walk in, it's spotless and beautifully decorated -- vintage, feminine, and upscale in style. The layout and organization make it easy to find exactly what you need without digging through clutter. Experience & Staff Frank was there during my crop, and he's genuinely kind and helpful. People come in and out regularly, and it's clear the shop carries unique and hard-to-find products that keep customers coming back. I'm also part of the Journal Club and Card Making Club, and both are very reasonably priced. Whether you're crafting solo or with friends, this place is a gem. Highly recommend attending one of their crops or just stopping by to browse -- it's an inspiring space for any paper crafter.

It wasn't very crowded when I visited around 1:00pm, and the store was clean, well organized, and offered a great selection of books along with puzzles, games, and other gift items, which made browsing enjoyable. The restroom area felt very bare and minimalist, and there were no paper towels available at the time, so there wasn't a way to dry your hands. One nice touch was the Starbucks located inside the store, which looked clean and inviting, even though I didn't make a purchase. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely return.

It's something you just don't get to experience with online ordering. Took my girls here to get some books for leisurely reading and they found quite a few books to get for themselves. They were happy with the selection they had available. A couple titles I wasn't able to locate for myself. Prices can be a little higher than what you'd find online at other retailers, so it's up to you if you want to instantly gratify yourself or wait for an online delivery. It's good to support the brick and mortar stores once in a while. The staff was friendly and helpful--even patient with my youngest daughter and her slightly unruly gift card which we finally got to work!

My unpleasant experience was going in for a few copies (10) . I get in line & I'm told wrong line for copies.
