It's right next to Seafood City. I ended up buying a few snacks, some candy, and this ice cream bar that was actually strawberry flavor, but it looked like raw steak lol. I thought it would be fun. I tried to do some minimal research and it seems like there's not very many locations open in the US and I don't know how big it is in Japan if at all. But what I do now it's a fun store. We come to find out from one of the staff members that "Typo" is a run on word to resonate with stationary paper and pen... eventual writing that may potentially generate typos... got it! LOL It's a really fun and interesting shop with lots of cool stuff. Atmosphere is welcoming. Staff was nice. Prices are very reasonable... you can get some knick knacks for $5. Sometimes they have specials like buy 3 selective items for $5.00. How cool is that! We didn't buy anything during our visit. I wanted to, but had to go because we were on a time crunch. Located in Expo Hall 7, this K-pop convention was full of cute booths, dancing, kawaii merch and more. The best part for me however at this year's K-Play Fest was a Sanrio Hello Kitty and Friends booth. It was a full on section that had plenty of photo ops, a giveaway wheel and lots of super cute Sanrio snacks for purchase! Being a Hello Kitty fan, this specific booth at the festival was a true delight! Aside from the Hello Kitty booth, I also appreciated the different creative vendor booths. I loved seeing all the cute and creative items. I spotted beautiful origami, unique K-pop photo cards and lots of stickers! Overall K-Play! Fest was such a kawaii experience this past weekend!

Fest! The energy was so high, and everyone was incredibly welcoming--it felt like one big family reunion for K-Pop fans. I loved seeing everyone's amazing outfits and the talent at the Random Play Dance was unreal! Plus, the vendors and food stalls had so much variety. As soon as we walked in, there was a live stream going on, and the cashier came across pretty loud and a bit intimidating, at least from my teenager's perspective. To keep things simple, I just told him to grab what he was looking for and we'd head out. While he browsed, I ended up finding a couple of records for myself too. The shop itself is really cool and has a unique vibe, different from other record stores I've visited. It's not your typical setup, which makes it stand out in a good way. I also noticed the building is a historic landmark. All in all, it was a unique experience, and I'm glad we stopped in.

There was one booth in particular that had an erotic anime girl in a bunny costume with her legs spread open and it's very detailed and showed the outline of her private area. There were a few families with young kids so I feel they should inform their vendors to put coverings on these R-rated items. This place is still fairly new but it has a ton of potential. I recently learned that they have a second location in Little Tokyo. There has been a trend of stores that provide physical spaces for independent artists to sell their products. I personally love this section of the store because you can find plenty of really unique and niche items! I've gotten a lot of really cute stickers, accessories, and apparel here. Some of these artist I've seen boothing at the 626 Night Market, but I'm glad I don't have to pay an entrance fee just to purchase their products with this store.
