We got a load of things to try because we just couldn't help ourselves everything on the menu was calling our names. The rice cakes were extremely delicious and soft & s chewy they were a 7.5/10 the only thing I could have done differently was maybe add some ramen or other sides to the bowl because it gets to be too much at times. The corndog was DELICIOUS we ate the entire dog it was so flavorful- very sweet but the ketchup and mustard counters the sweetness is such an amazing way. I wish the potato was 1/2 cheese 1/2 sausage ( and I wish the sausage was a bit bigger) but overall sooo good! 8.5/10 The Koran street sandwich was another bomb meal. It came with egg, cabbage, ham & other great things that blended so perfectly it almost taste like a burger?? It was delicious (8.5/10) Last but not least the Bulgolgi rice balls we're out of this world amazing the rice itself was so delicious and the bulgolgi was absolutely delicious we should have ordered more!! 10/10 To drink we got a Grape milki & Thai tea wish we're both delicious . I highly recommend the Thai tea!! We will absolutely be back this place was amazing and the vibes inside were super chill the have some tvs to watch some games or news & lots of open seating. I've been to the other Twozone Chicken, and when I heard about this one + saw their menu, I had to check out this location. Located on the outskirts of downtown Portland, you'll have to street park here. The building itself is pretty new and the inside of the restaurant is casual, fast-food style, and very clean. Now, if you were to compare this Twozone location to the one in Mississippi area, I would consider this an upgraded version. Both are great, but this location offers many different menu items in addition to the chicken. In fact, it is the only place that I'm aware of in Portland that offers this Korean street-food-style menu. There's fried chicken, street toast, ramen, and many other small bites in addition to alcohol. Service is quick and nice. The food itself is pretty good too. Amazing spot for some Korean fried chicken and other bites with friends. I would love to come back here. read more

I walked in there for the first time today hungry on purpose and willing to pay. I'm new to Portland originally from California. I ordered #4 which is the curry ramen. What I got was borderline I don't even know to say. Semi racism and I don't pull the race card ever but they looked at me and started giggling and talking to each other in there language. Wanted somewhere to stop by for a meal while walking around. So I decided to order the Chapaguri Ramen and I got exactly that. It was the instant ramen with the sauce packets (they didn't mix in the spicy sauce though so you can take out/mix in enough for your spice tolerance) topped with corn, green onion, and boneless chicken. We specifically asked for our wings extra crispy, but what we got were oversized, rubbery, and soggy pieces of chicken that tasted like they had been steamed rather than fried. These wings were huge in size but not in flavor or texture--just unpleasantly chewy and lacking any kind of crispiness. It honestly felt like they were cooked in bulk earlier in the day and reheated without a second thought to our request. When we brought this up to the cashier, hoping for at least a basic acknowledgment, we were met with a shrug and essentially told to "take it to the chin." Seriously? That kind of attitude is just as bad as the food. No apology, no offer to make it right, not even a hint of concern. Just completely dismissive. Used the self ordering kiosk and paid, then the system displayed an error message even though the money was already charged to my card. Asked the owner for help and he kept insisting that nothing was wrong with his system and refused to help--even though the bank app already shows that the transaction was approved and debited. First time trying this place and man was really delicious. The chicken here is very succulent and tender and crispy and they're very generous with the portion size and it's a good price for what you're paying for and the corn dogs are pretty good too. I love the gooeyness of the cheese and the crispy Breaded area of the corndog. They have a variety of stuff here so I really would take advantage of it to get that Korean street five feel one of the Street places in Portland and the staff is very kind. read more

Out of all the Korean fried chicken places in the greater Portland area that I've tried, I will say twozone comes out on top. The wings here are pretty sizable compared to some other places, and I like how they stay crispy even when tossed in sauce. We recently ordered spicy soy wings, and I loved that it had an almost smoky flavor to them. They weren't overwhelmingly spicy which I enjoyed, it had just enough kick. I've only ever done carry out from here, and the wings have always stayed fresh and crispy. I'm sure they must taste even better when eaten on the spot. I haven't tried any of their other menu items, which I'm not sure if I need to because the chicken here is great and if anything would come back to try out some of the other flavors read more

Thoroughly unimpressed. Maybe I'm hangry, but there were disappointments at every corner. Let's start with the arrival. I get there and see there's a 10% off offer for your first online order, I was met with teenage angst by the cashier who told me that it wasn't associated with the restaurant, but the website affiliate. Strange, it has your brand all over it, with no mention of the ordering website at all. No sense of friendliness or customer service by any of the staff to anyone who enters. Everyone feels like they minimally like their lives. Next up, the flavoring of the chicken is not very descriptive at all. I ordered the honey butter, no idea that it would be breaded since I ordered it online for pick up. Now, upon seeing the menu in store it just says (dry). Concerning for those with food sensitivities. (Not me, but still would be good to have those kind of specifics). Upon biting into the chicken, its slightly dried, over breaded, and doesn't taste like anything in particular except an inkling of fries. Most likely due to the fact that its fried in the same oil. Lastly, not quite sure how I feel about fancy instant ramen for ~$15. 4 pieces of beef thrown on top of a noodle packet. No thanks, I can do that at home. read more

We stopped here for quick lunch. They had a regular cashier and a self-order screen as well. They had a variety of items, and I was so impressed that they were all so reasonable! I love twozone. I go a few times a year when the weather is nice and I can take a walk for lunch. It's convenient when I have film to drop off at prophoto. The food is always great! Some of the items have improved over time. The bowls used to have a ton of onions in them taking over the bowl but now they don't which is awesome! I usually always get the boneless chicken with either bulgogi sauce or Korean sweet and sour sauce. They are sweet but really good. The chicken is always perfectly cooked and crispy. The breading has a really nice warm seasoning with almost an addicting cinnamon flavor. I also get the tteokboki with boneless chicken and that is good too! It is a bit expensive, especially if ordering online since there are fees. The service is always very friendly! The interior is clean with plenty of seating. There are tv's with fun YouTube videos on showing how street food is made in Thailand. I enjoyed watching that while I ate. If you're considering going, definitely make the stop and don't skip the boneless chicken!! read more

The wings I ordered were the soy garlic. It was not crispy at all/ under cooked slightly with MINIMAL flavor from the sauce. Again...a disgrace. 3. I honestly feel like the Korean dogs should be good he only thing they focus on as it wasn't bad but sadly...not great either. All around a big disappointment On top of all of this their pricing is not reasonable for the quality and inconsistency at all. Please read this and do not waste your time! Most pieces are small and very dry/overcooked. There was a definite lacking of uniformity. Honestly, calling them boneless wings seems deceitful. Everything was just OK. I won't be coming back here. We ordered the 20 piece jumbo wings (soy garlic, bulgogi, and hot & spicy), potato dog, cheese dog, bulgogi rice bowl, and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The wings were of good size and had good flavors. It could be a more crunching and crispy in my opinion. The Philly cheesesteak was the standout dish for me. The flavor was on point and just overall delicious. The potato corn dog was also good. It had a good texture to it. The bulgogi rice bowl was a little bit bland. Legit tteokbokki. The rice cake was soft and still had a nice bite; not at all the mushy glutinous clump you usually get elsewhere. We added ramen and the noodles were al dente. The sauce was not overly sweet and actually spicy no just red in color. Definitely recommend. The chicken wings were better than average. Using the Yelp scale: 4 for crispness, 5 for juiciness, and 3 for seasoning. I ordered the original. When I asked which sauce was actually spicy vs sweet, as I was told all the spicy sauces were sweet. The radish that accompanied the chicken was diced too finely, just okay in flavor, but crunchy. I'm a huge fan of wings and knew I had to try this place after seeing an Instagram page post about it. Upon entry, the place was not as I expected and they have a larger menu that I had thought, too. However, I only was interested in the wings and got the 5pc Jumbo wings with the Garlic Soy sauce. These wings are some of the best I've found in Portland. The Garlic Soy sauce was dripping off the wings which are a very good size. What's impressive about these wings is the ability for them to be so saturated in sauce and yet remain crispy, something not many places have managed to accomplish. If it's crunchy, it's lacking the sauce and vice versa. The sauce is pretty sweet so if you prefer spicy over sweet, try another sauce, but these were fantastic! I tried my first Korean corn dog, with the 2-tender meal (came with 2 crispy chicken tenders, garlic soy sauce, fries with a cheese sauce, coleslaw, and a roll). Super good! Tried Twozone chicken that opened in Portland today. I picked it up and ate at home. Got their wings and tteokbokki. Their bulgogi chicken and soy garlic chicken tasted almost the same. The soy garlic one wasn't garlicky at all. The sweet and sour one was just sweet, i felt like I was dipping my chicken into corn syrup. I liked that the wings were pretty moist compared to Bonchon Chicken but their sauce in general is way too sweet. What I was most disappointed by was how overpriced their side dishes were compared to other KFC restaurants. The pickled radish and the slaw came in little sauce containers and they were $2 each. I finished the slaw in one bite. If you just look up Twozone chicken located in LA, you can see their pickled radish comes in much larger size. Not sure why they wouldn't keep the same portion for the one in pdx. read more
