I ordered bulgogi burrito bowl. It was delicious. Definitely ask for extra of their mayo sauce. I'm a sucker for food truck pods and this one was a vibe.

I had read about this food truck and it did not disappoint....the cuisine is a mix of Mexican and Korean. The prices were really good and the portion sizes were filling. Loved the Bulgogi bowl....I could eat this every day !!! Nicely marinated bulgogi and some delicious rice, moist and hot !

I always get the Bulggogi burrito bowl, which, omg soooo fresh and delicious! Don't hesitate to try this foot cart. Great food at reasonable prices. New favorite & the lady who works there is always so sweet.

From LA. Everytime I visit Portland I go to this stand. It has been years since I last ate here and have thought about it since, and now it is as tasty as I remember. Nice, friendly staff and really, really tasty food. Its only issue is that it is open only weekday lunch time. I recommend this place :) In a cool spot as well it is easy to get to the Midtown Beer Garden.

Listened to the reviews and bought the bulgogi burrito! Glad I did. It's delicious kimchi, yes please, so much flavor

This place has good reviews so I stopped by while I was stuck in downtown traffic. The food court is clean and nice. Tried the suggested bulgogi burrito. Only $11! Such a good deal. The week was not long. I'll definitely eat here again.

5th & Oak location feels a little sketch sometimes but well worth it for the food. I was fiending for some tofu tacos and Korean twist didn't disappoint. It was spicy, with plenty of sauce and the tofu was super scrumptious. The tacos aren't very big but they're about average taco size and the fillings were overflowing. In a city full of food trucks, it's nice to find one that just hits the spot whether you need a snack, or a meal, or just a pick me up.

I love Korean tacos, so I was eager to try a Korean burrito. It was good but not as good as I was hoping. The iceberg lettuce didn't taste super fresh and the spice (which I was imagining would come from kimchi) was mostly salad dressing. The last two inches of my burrito were drenched with dressing.

This place did not disappoint. We walked all over downtown shopping and decided Korean was gonna be it for a late lunch. It started to drizzle so luckily the food came out fairly quick. The area has some "unsavories" but we were not pestered. I ordered the tofu burrito and it was huge and filling for $9. The kid had the bulgogi plate and said it was good. We shared yakisoba and had leftovers of that for later. The yakisoba was not oversaturated in sauce which I liked; however, if you prefer a more bolder taste in your noodle you might be saddened. My burrito had lots of sauce built in, so the noodles provided enough blandness I needed. With that being said, I didn't need to order noodles but thought the burrito wasn't going to fill me. Well it did. I should've stopped halfway, but it was so good I forced myself to eat it all. We walked the 10 minutes to the car in cold and slightly drizzling weather and the food was still warm. Be prepared, there are a lot of homeless in the area asking for loose change/dollars. Many were talking to themselves. I give them vendors credit and will continue to support them.

Some of the better foods come out of a truck, right? Even so, if it's Korean, it has a chance of being pretty good. I went with a friend as we walked around for hours around town. We stumbled on the block or city block rather I had a bunch of food trucks all around the perimeter, what a find. Ordered the chicken tacos, as a starter. Since we had planned on hitting other food trucks around the block. The chicken tacos were delicious here, contemplated getting more, but had to stay steadfast in our plan to try other food trucks. Do keep an open mind about food trucks, they can be surprisingly good.

    Spicey chicken and beef burrito

This was an experience. A glorious unforgettable flavor filled tummy full experience. On a road trip and this might.... Just might be our favorite food yet. From Florida to Washington and heading to Utah... holy smokes don't miss out on their Spicy Chicken burrito or the beef add kimchi +$1. Wowowow.

Great bang for your buck. I ordered from a couple carts thinking this wouldn't fill me, I was wrong! Loved the flavor and can't wait to try more of their menu!

Nestled in the heart of downtown Portland, came here for the very first time and was treated with kindness by Hope who took great care of us as we ordered Taco Combos with the delicious Spicy Pork and Bulgogi options. Located on one of Portland's Food Truck, there also happen to be other food trucks next door if your partner wants to mix and match food! Be sure to check this place out if you want a great snack at this Gem!

It was so delicious that I brought my spouse back for dinner when he arrived later in the weekend. When I went the first night I got the shrimp pad Thai and it was the best pad Thai I've had in a long time. So full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I also got the hazy IPA from the local brewery, Backwoods. When we came back later in the weekend, my spouse got the shrimp pad Thai since I sang its praises. I got the million dollar shrimp tom kha ramen and it was DIVINE! I literally cherished every slurp and bite, it was so incredible and flavorful! My spouse got a different local IPA and I got a unique twist on a Negroni. The staff were extremely friendly helpful, ensuring that we had an impeccable experience from start to finish. Prices were also reasonable for the high quality ingredients, quantity, and presentation. The ambiance was wonderful, offering a clean, welcoming, and modern-green chic aesthetic. Not only did we have an amazing dinning experience, but also an amazing service and ambiance experience! If we are ever in town again, Buranko Cafe & Bar will be our top spot to stop!

Two bibimbaps to go: one was tofu and the other was spicy pork. Spicy pork is not spicy but looks like it is. Good taste, so it's marinated well and the meat isn't tough to chew, like some other places. I loved the spicy pork bibimbap though. All fresh ingredients! They give a lot of vegetables, which is so nice, because other places are very sparing with their ingredients. I'm usually left with so much rice at the end. However, this place did a good job giving the right amount of ingredients. They also gave a small cup of miso soup - thank you! Would get this again! My husband enjoyed his tofu version. If you're someone who wants spice, add some of the red sauce they give you in a cup. I was very happy the spicy pork wasn't spicy, but I liked being able to control any spice with the red sauce.

Location: This bar is on the first floor of the Hyatt House Portland / Downtown. Ambiance: Pretty quiet and chill. There weren't a lot of people there so it was really easy to get a drink. Drink options: I really loved how they circle around different local beer on tap. They also have a few bottled beer too. They have a cast amount of liquor too. Surprisingly, they had a new bottle of Hennessy when we finished the first (during our stay). Usually a lot of bars in hotels don't have it, so that was a major plus. Bartenders: We met three while we were there. All of them super kind, friendly, and informative of the surrounding area. They gave us lots of tips on what to see, eat, and drink. They were really down to earth people. Pricing: I thought it to be fairly reasonable for a hotel, however I might just be jaded from Bay Area pricing (yikes). What I loved about this bar is that we were able to just chat with the bartender. I didn't feel like I had to go back to my room with my drink (which is usually the case). I was able to talk to a few other people sitting at the bar too. Of course all from out of town, but still nice talking to other friendly strangers. They do serve food at this place, but I didn't really get a chance to try it it since there was soooo many other food joints in the area.

Standout MUST ORDER appetizers for your time here are "garlic wok mussels" and "steak tartare". Mussels are incredibly well seasoned in what I see as an asian fusion type of soy sauce/hosin. Great tasting mussels, no sand and not overpowering sauce. The steak tartare was the standout, they handled the raw ingredients very well and milk bread complimented it very well. As for the entree, I had the 10z grilled Ribeye. It's greatly plated, I love the addition of the sauce, salt and wasabi. It came with pickled greens and salads. But for a high end restaurant, I was a bit dissatisfied and disappointed by the ribeye itself, it was hard to eat since it was abnormally very "CHEWY" which is not normal for a high cut steak. Although the 10z ribeye was the "best value" for your dollar due to its portions compared to other dishes, it being very chewy knocks Janken down as a whole for me. I want to preface I ordered it as medium rare. The highlight of my meal was the matcha tiramisu, wok mussels, and steak tartare. For a high end restaurant, I would say majority of your dollars goes into the aesthetic and nice atmosphere of the place since its accompany with a nice cherry blossom tree and great attentive staff. Food wise... definitely went into the plating and aesthetics, I can recommend ordering from the ITAMEMONO, and hot/cold section. I can't recommend any other dishes though, that'll be up to y'all to try. What stops Janken from getting a 5 stars from me is a defining must order "entree".
