    All Meat Burrito

This food pod is located on SW 4th and Hall St. The burritos are huge and cheap. It was only $8.50 for this manly wrap. It felt like it weighed ~5 pounds. The service was quick and friendly.

Mexican food truck positioned along side multiple other trucks in the food pod area near the Chase Bank 4th avenue building and PSU. What I ordered didn't do it for me, but perhaps I caught them on a bad day. Ordered: Chicken burrito-- Like many of the Mexican food trucks downtown, the burrito was huge. Unfortunately, the chicken tasted stale and the burrito itself lacked flavor. The red salsa I was given also lacked any real punch and I ended up throwing away. What I did like about the burrito was the flour tortilla! I'm big on texture when it comes to bread type items and this one was tasty. Service: The employee at the register was the reason I actually purchased food from them. She was very friendly. Wait: 5-6 minutes. Bill: $

Best tacos in Portland! I love maria too so much. This is my go to when im craving street tacos

Thank you for the free avocado on my breakfast burrito! Easy tipper.

I was waiting for a food cart to open this morning and thank you Chopollo for being open @ 9AM! I was starving and they saved me. I ordered a breakfast burrito and asked for avocado in it. They didn't even charge me extra for it, they just took my order for the same price. That is giving good customer service. When I was waiting in line during rush hour, they noticed I haven't ordered and apologized. I can't stop eating here. It's literally my go-to burrito spot. I'd support a small food cart business any day.

First time coming here and I already want to go back tomorrow! Their breakfast burritos are insanely good. I was very impressed!! Also, very nice service.

This is the only food cart open (on my path) around 8:45/9am when I'm heading to campus. I've only been here for breakfast but really enjoy their breakfast burritos (much better than the ones in the cafeteria at Smith). I've tried the chorizo con papas and the bacon burrito, both are good. I also love their green sauce, very flavorful. The people working have always been nice and quick!

I think this is the fifth Mexican cart to open up on the PSU cart block. Who did the market research? I'm happy with the quality of my food. I got the Trio Fajita Burrito (I think I have the name right) with shrimp, beef and pork. Very good, but they need to do a better job of chopping the tails off of the big shrimp. I haven't sampled two of the other carts, but this probably the best Mexican cart so far. They also serve homemade carrot juice, breakfast items and have a whole veggie section on their menu. They offer more plate options than the other carts. Expect to pay around $5.

3.5 stars! You know what they say... The closer to Mexico, the better the Mexican food! And coming from someone who's lived in California her whole life, this is pretty decent Mexican food! I'll start off with the salsas, 2 stars. Nothing spectacular here folks. It's bland and mild. :( Now the food! I've ordered the nachos and tostadas here. Tostadas are my favorite, besides carne asada fries! Judging from these two, they are very generous with the portions! Two tostadas make me VERY full! The meat is tender and seasoned quite nicely, but the only thing I don't like is the amount of lettuce they put on top. Anyways, cheap food. Generous portions. Decent food! I'd make sure to have some tapatio or cholula sauce at home :)

There is plenty of seating there and It looked like there was a space for live music and string lights - probably a fun spot to grab dinner in the evening. We came for lunch and ordered the chao mian with chicken (spicy) and bian bian noodles (spicy). The noodles are cooked to order and we were served quickly. The serving sizes are huge. Neither one of us could finish ours. We'll likely order one dish to split next time, and that'd still probably be more than enough. The flavor of the chao mian was a bit lackluster. It was savory with a soy sauce flavor base, but got a bit repetitive with each bite. It was decently spicy and texture was there with the veggies, but I wish there was a way to customize with more spice or vinegar to taste. The bian bian noodles were more flavorful and also spicier. Fun noodle texture. There are also other vendors in the garden so you can pair a dessert, drink, or side with your meal while staying in the same area. Overall, a filling meal for a good price! Would come again to try their beef noodle soup.

I went with their recommendation and ordered the No. 1 Chicken Shawarma Wrap, and it was fantastic. The shawarma itself was juicy and packed with flavor, and it balanced really nicely against the fresh vegetables and the tanginess from the pickles. The fluffy garlic sauce inside is airy, garlicky, and almost feels whipped, but the pro move is definitely to ask for extra along with some of their house made hot sauce on the side. Everything is wrapped and griddled to toasty perfection, making it an ideal compact grab-and-go lunch, or a great meal to enjoy more leisurely at one of the shaded picnic tables. One thing to note is that the orders do take a bit of time, so it is not the best option if you are in a rush. That said, it is absolutely worth it if you have a little time and patience, so just grab a brew, relax, and enjoy the weather while you wait.

Although it is still new and not all the spaces are filled yet, it seems like it will be a great place to dine there on nice weather days. I had already tried their bingsu food cart. This time I tried the Shawarma House. There are about 3 food carts that serve similar or the same food. I had the triple meat plate. It consisted of lamb, chicken and beef. It came with pita bread and hummus and tzatziki sauce. The sauce that drizzled on top was good but I couldn't quite tell what it was. The lamb meat was by far the best. The chicken and beef was okayed. Hummus and tzatziki serving was large. I wish I had more pita bread so I didn't have to waste the dipping. There was a good amount of rice under the meat. The plate was good overall but there was not enough sauce drizzled on the top. As a result, everything seemed dry.

Both were fantastic! It was very flavorful and well spiced, with the perfect amount of salt and aromatics. The chicken is extremely soft, and the noodles are fresh and properly chewy. The Thai iced tea was very sweet even for my taste, but I still enjoyed it and expect it would be more refreshing if the weather wasn't so cold as it is now. The wait time was maybe 15 minutes, which isn't bad at all, and the cashier was very cheerful and pleasant. The food cart is in the back of a fairly vacant lot, so there's not much to comment on when it comes to ambiance. Unfortunately, I came away pretty disappointed. Everything except the pork belly was actually really good. The rice had a good texture and separate grains. The fried egg was crispy and had a nice runny yolk. The cucumbers had a nice thickness and crunch to them (could been colder though). The prik nam pla (fish sauce, chiles, maybe a little lime?) was really great -- something about the flavor really popped for me and was tasty. And everything was served hot and fresh. But the pork belly sucked, and that kinda ruined the dish for me. The fatty parts weren't melt-in-your-mouth at all. They were just chewy. The skin wasn't crispy, it also was chewy. The meaty parts weren't juicy at all, they were tough. I dunno, everything about it seemed wrong. And getting the pork belly right seems like a crucial part of the overall dish. After eating maybe 1/3 of the pieces of pork belly, hoping each time that the bad pieces were just outliers, I gave up and just pushed the rest of them to the side while I ate the rest of the dish. Oh well.

The culinary experience was truly remarkable, and the customer service was exceptional. The restaurant's location is also highly favorable, contributing to its overall appeal. As a Jamaican who grew up in the Miami neighborhood known as "Little Haiti," I have had ample exposure to Haitian cuisine, particularly griot. My childhood memories include saving my allowance to purchase griot from a Haitian lady's house on Fridays, with the assistance of a neighbor who spoke her language. My first taste of griot occurred when I was 11 years old. I felt compelled to share this background information to establish my credentials in assessing the quality of Haitian cuisine.
