    All Meat Burrito
    Sheri A.

This food pod is located on SW 4th and Hall St. The burritos are huge and cheap. It was only $8.50 for this manly wrap. It felt like it weighed ~5 pounds. The service was quick and friendly.

Mexican food truck positioned along side multiple other trucks in the food pod area near the Chase Bank 4th avenue building and PSU. What I ordered didn't do it for me, but perhaps I caught them on a bad day. Ordered: Chicken burrito-- Like many of the Mexican food trucks downtown, the burrito was huge. Unfortunately, the chicken tasted stale and the burrito itself lacked flavor. The red salsa I was given also lacked any real punch and I ended up throwing away. What I did like about the burrito was the flour tortilla! I'm big on texture when it comes to bread type items and this one was tasty. Service: The employee at the register was the reason I actually purchased food from them. She was very friendly. Wait: 5-6 minutes. Bill: $

First time coming here and I already want to go back tomorrow! Their breakfast burritos are insanely good. I was very impressed!! Also, very nice service.

Thank you for the free avocado on my breakfast burrito! Easy tipper.

I was waiting for a food cart to open this morning and thank you Chopollo for being open @ 9AM! I was starving and they saved me. I ordered a breakfast burrito and asked for avocado in it. They didn't even charge me extra for it, they just took my order for the same price. That is giving good customer service. When I was waiting in line during rush hour, they noticed I haven't ordered and apologized. I can't stop eating here. It's literally my go-to burrito spot. I'd support a small food cart business any day.

    Bacon Breakfast Burrito...mmmmm!

This is the only food cart open (on my path) around 8:45/9am when I'm heading to campus. I've only been here for breakfast but really enjoy their breakfast burritos (much better than the ones in the cafeteria at Smith). I've tried the chorizo con papas and the bacon burrito, both are good. I also love their green sauce, very flavorful. The people working have always been nice and quick!

I think this is the fifth Mexican cart to open up on the PSU cart block. Who did the market research? I'm happy with the quality of my food. I got the Trio Fajita Burrito (I think I have the name right) with shrimp, beef and pork. Very good, but they need to do a better job of chopping the tails off of the big shrimp. I haven't sampled two of the other carts, but this probably the best Mexican cart so far. They also serve homemade carrot juice, breakfast items and have a whole veggie section on their menu. They offer more plate options than the other carts. Expect to pay around $5.

3.5 stars! You know what they say... The closer to Mexico, the better the Mexican food! And coming from someone who's lived in California her whole life, this is pretty decent Mexican food! I'll start off with the salsas, 2 stars. Nothing spectacular here folks. It's bland and mild. :( Now the food! I've ordered the nachos and tostadas here. Tostadas are my favorite, besides carne asada fries! Judging from these two, they are very generous with the portions! Two tostadas make me VERY full! The meat is tender and seasoned quite nicely, but the only thing I don't like is the amount of lettuce they put on top. Anyways, cheap food. Generous portions. Decent food! I'd make sure to have some tapatio or cholula sauce at home :)

This is a stunning burger…read more I have come here an embarrassing amount of times since moving back to Portland. The first time I came alone, just a little hungry and a lot broke. So I got the $6 little pleasure burger. A simple, single patty smash burger. It's everything a McDonald's burger wishes it could be - beefy and drippy, a squishy, slightly sweet bun, oozing hot grease without being heavy, lacy and crisp edges, and held together with the right amount of American cheese. It was the perfect amount for that day. Then I returned with my date. Twice. And he brought his coworkers for lunch because he liked it so much. I have had the western and the mushroom burger since, as well as the parm and chive waffle fries. They have nuggets and I'm inclined to believe they're great. The staff is great, it's a small team and they're all there every single day. They care about their product and your experience. The space is a simple counter, not good for large groups. It should be noted that even though their burgers would be great with a beer, they don't seem to have a liquor license! So don't expect an IPA with that shroom burger. Maybe someday!

There's also plenty of seating outside and covered tent seating. It took about 12-15 minutes for the food to be served which was ideal. IMO. This BBQ is Kansas City style, so the sauce is a bit sweeter. We got the brisket, the chicken wings, and sides. We couldn't decide if on the sauce for the wings, so we got all 3 on the side. The Alabama white sauce was A+ The brisket was perfectly tender. It had great flavor and marbling. The wings are full wings with the drummette attached. That's the way to do it! They are smoked and then fried. They got the crisp just right. Let's talk about sides! We got the collard greens, coleslaw, and baked beans. They were all FANTASTIC! The coleslaw is a vinegar coleslaw, which I love. It wasn't the sweet mayonnaise style that most people don't enjoy. It was so good! The collard greens were perfectly flavored and tender! I couldn't have done better myself. The beans were sweet but also savory. Not super sweet, which makes me happy. Very well balanced. The server was super friendly and nice. She explained everything to us and made sure we were happy. They have a bar with various beers. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Very casual but perfect for BBQ. Highly recommend you try this spot!
