Crispy perfect fries - no grease at all

Holy grail of Korean fried chicken. Just like chicken in Korea. 10/10. **IMPORTANT AF*** DONT get this location mixed up with the two zone chicken on 1200 NW 18th Ave, Portland, OR 97209. That place sucks big time and the quality of chicken and flavors are different even though they have the same name. You've been warned! The owners are super friendly here and helped explain the menu and the sauces. Music is poppin. Feels like I'm in a trendy kdrama scene. Seating is limited to 4 tables inside. We went here with some friends and got the bone in wings. Don't get boneless cause it's not the same (in my opinion the bone in is even juicier). We got the Josie mix sauce (it's savory and good tastes like honey mustard and bbq?) and the soy garlic which has a little bit of heat! - Chicken was cooked perfectly usually takes them 10-15 mins. - Water station inside is complimentary. - Fries were cooked to perfection and not greasy. - Sauces on chicken are super flavorful. - Good price point for chicken especially since this is QUALITY! Overall this place is WAY better than chimcking, and better then bonchon. This place knocks them both out of the SEA! The only thing missing is if they sold rice for us to eat with the chicken. My god my life would be complete with a side of rice! But you can always get to-go and indulge in the wings at home with some kdramas. Tips: Don't wear white, or tight clothing, or rings, prepare to get your fingers saucy. They don't have wet wipes so grab lots of napkins. If you need a fork they have them.

After seeing this spot always closed on my night runs to Snowy Village next door, I made the effort to head out early for once and try this Korean fried chicken spot out! The inside can be a bit tight but there's seating enough for about 20-25 people (including outside seating). The staff is very kind and friendly to talk to, and service is overall pretty fast! They have probably the biggest selection in Portland for wing flavors and I also love how they allow different add-ons into your ddeokbokki. The wings are absolutely the best in Portland. They're big and still crispy on the outside when you get them, yet very saucy at the same time. Portions are generous. The corn dogs are also great and I just wish they offered more options as they are also so delicious. I also love how chewy and spicy the ddeokbokki is, but was a bit thrown off by a black pepper taste (but it might just be me and my friends). Overall, a great shop and I highly recommend!

Really delicious Korean fried chicken. The wings on the outside were so crispy and the inside was juicy. The sauce coating the wings were delicious. I would ask the workers which sauces are spicy or not since it's not clearly depicted on their menu. If you like spice, this place has a lot of spicy wing options. Fries were good. The cheddar cheese corn was interesting, wasn't expecting a corn cob with cheese powder over it. Not bad. The Korean corn dog was good as well, fried crispy and it was yummy. Prices here are a bit more expensive, but based on the area it's located in and portion size it's fine. If you're eating there in person, it's can get messy. I wish they provided some wet wipes or something, especially since the bathroom door is locked and you need to grab a key to use it. So it's hard to wash your already dirty/sticky hands. They do have napkins but still.

I'm so glad this area has new businesses opening up and even better that it's a korean fried chicken spot! They have been open for just a couple of months and honestly you're greeted by the owner and his family and they are the SWEETEST people ever. You should come here just for that alone! I ordered the 10 wing combo (soy garlic & hot spicy), tteokbokki, and half cheese/sausage corn dog. The wings were presented so nicely in the box and they had a great crunch! The sauces had a kick and I liked that the wings were coated but not drenched in the sauce that could make them soggy. The fries here tasted as they were fresh cut and not out of the bag and the tteokbokki has extra spice on top to give even more kick. I love korean corn dogs and they were tasty here as well with good cheese pulls and the nice sugar coating on top. As they're still new they are working through their processes and were always sure to check in with us and let us know about our wait time. It wasn't too big of an issue for us since we were in no rush but they are super transparent as you're ordering so you can make the decision. Be sure to check out their fridge for their drinks since they feature new drinks that I never even had!

Korean Corn Dog & Boneless wings (Hot&Spicy and Spicy Soy)

[ food ]: 10/10 * Korean Corndog - Super cheesy with a satisfying crunch! I'd say that these were the best korean corndogs in town with how well they were made and the flavor really hit the nail on the head. * Boneless wings - At first i was really disappointed with how little sauce the wings had but after taking a few bites, I was thankful. The cashier warned us that the Hot and Spicy sauce was REALLY spicy and they weren't joking. I really enjoyed the heat as a spice enthusiast. He even said that for someone that doesn't usually eat a lot of spicy foods, this sauce would be a 9/10 on the hotness scale for most, but for those that regularly partake of spice would rate it close to a 3 or 4 out of 10, and I'd have to agree. Both the hot&spicy sauce and the spicy soy were really tasty and unique in their own ways but I'd recommend for satisfying that spice craving and the spicy soy for more flavor. * Tteokbokki- The sauce of the tteokbokki was perfect, I genuinely think the consistency was perfect, not too sticky/dry and not too soupy. The flavor AND spice was there. This one really hit the spot for me. [ service ]: 10/10 * When you walk into the restaurant, you go to the cashier to order and they were more than helpful and accommodating when asking for recommendations on the wing flavors. They gave us an extra korean corndog because they had messed up the order which was super kind of them to do. Everyone was inviting and kind despite there being a little bit of a lunch rush. [ ambiance ]: 8/10 * This was definitely not any kind of high dining experience but had really cute decor and wall decals of little corndogs! There was also a tv playing various genres of music which created a more inviting aura to the restaurant. I also appreciated how clean the tables and floors were, you can tell that the staff were on top of the cleanliness level!

Once in business, shut down for awhile, back open with new owners. Korean Fried Chicken ~ they have taken KFC away from the Colonel and dubbed the hot new chicken of choice. Large wings here, quick flash fry for a crispness but still tender and juicy inside. Sauces are light & flavorful. Finger smacking good. Tteokbokki ~ surprised how good it was here. Excellent sauce base, spicy & sweet balance thumbs up, rice cakes soft & chewy. The young couple running the shop ~ welcoming, friendly smiles & kind to guide you through the menu. Their personalities are awesome and you always leave appreciated! Still do not understand the meaning behind the name Two Zone, nevertheless the chicken is bomb and locally owned is awesome for the neighborhood!

Inside of brown sugar mochi - 2/5 for me, sorry :(

I ordered this to go on a Thursday night and it was ready within 20 minutes for pickup. The parking is atrocious so make sure you go a little early to account for that! 10 piece wings - half spicy soy and half hot n spicy . The person taking my order warned me that the hot n spicy was going to be hot so I knew I had to prepare myself, and he was not lying! It was a slow burn but really tasty, so I would definitely recommend. The spicy soy was very flavorful and tasty too, although not spicy to me but maybe it's because the hot n spicy was too hot to compare to. The wings are big!! And the skin and meat are tender and juicy. Regular Korean corn dog . I haven't had these in a long time so was exited to get some of the sweet crunch, and it was a solid corn dog. It came with ketchup, Mayo, and mustard which I asked to put on the side. The crunch was great even going to go, and I always like how sweet it is. I just wish there was a bigger variety of sauces like wasabi Mayo, but overall great choice for the price. Brown sugar mochi . Unfortunately, this wasn't my thing. It tasted kinda like one of those Costco brown sugar mochi balls dipped into the same batter as the corn dog, and I'm not sure why, but it didn't work for me. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I feel like the batter was too thick for such a small mochi, and so it was a little bland. Maybe a little brown sugar drizzle on top? Overall not a fan of this. Besides the brown sugar mochi, everything was bomb and we were left super full and satisfied. Cant wait to try out the other wing flavors!

Man I love me some Korean Fried Chicken (the OG KFC), and I think I've finally found the best spicy wings in portland. For me it's mostly a to go joint bc they only have a couple small tables inside and no beer which is key, how can you have chicken wings without beer? Especially if you're getting the spicy then it's a necessity. Also, the hot & spicy here is seriously spicy, it usually takes me more than an hour to eat 10 wings since I need a bathroom break to blow my nose/breathe between each wing. But I keep coming back for them and I don't often order the same thing multiple times even if I enjoyed it as I like trying something new each time. You have the choice of either traditional or crispy wings, choose crispy for sure (which is traditional for me). Also have tried their duckbokki (spicy Rice Cakes) which was very good, served with ramen noodles so I guess it's actually rabokki (Ramen duckbokki). It was garnished with some fresh greens that gave some extra crunch and freshness to the dish. All in all, my favorite KFC spot in the city so far. It also delivers really well, the boxes have vent holes cut so the chicken doesn't get soggy but still stays hot. Now if they just got beer, they would be the undisputed champions.

Excellent customer service and great tasting Korean style corn dogs! The owner was very hospitable and very personable. He took the time to help us order and answered all our questions politely. The interior was a bit narrow and had a few tables for those who prefer to dine-in. The food took a bit longer than expected but they kept us in the loop and gave us accurate estimates. The food came out hot and fresh. The corn dogs were perfectly battered and delicious! This location is by far my favorite TwoZone, the other franchises do not compare! I will definitely be back to try their chicken next time!

In the past few years, Korean fired chicken spots are popping up everywhere. This is my first time hearing about Twozone chicken. I have to say, it's on par with the other big chains such as bonchon and chimcking. The fried chicken were definitely saucier but very good. Tteokbokki were a bit too spicy for my liking. I wish they have the options to allow us to choose the spicy level. Be prepare to wait a bit when you order from them. My order took over 25 minutes. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It does take a bit of time to cook yummy food. Vibe: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Parking: 3/5

atmosphere: 6/10 walked in to pretty dirty restaurant, tables were not clean, windows very dirty, bathroom had toilet paper, paper towels and soap but all just sitting out instead of where they are supposed to be service: 7/10 it was fine, not friendly but not rude food: they estimated a 30 minute wait which we said we were okay with. I stated my timer after we got our drinks and sat down and it ended up being 45 minutes until we got our food they did upgrade the 5 wings to 7 and the small combo to a large without us asking and that was huge! flavors were some of the best wing flavors i've had. fries were meh. for the wings i'd give 9/10 and fries 5/10 my overall opinion: don't dine in here, do call ahead for take out I wouldn't dine in again but would drive across the river for the wings again. I think they just need one more employee for things to be smoother inside

super crispy and large pieces tried their spicy soy and soy garlic, spicy soy is very spicy and tasty! Came towards 30 mins before closing, so did take out and sat outside to eat. Wings were hot and crispy and fresh made to order. We ordered combo #2 which came with large fries but it was not as crunchy as expended and they did forget to give us our fries until we walked back in. Thank goodness they were still open and very kind to give us the fries. Wish there was more seasoning sprinkled on top otherwise it would have been a 5 star review. Competitive pricing before their pieces are very large and comes in super crispy and fresh hot wings! we did savor every bite and the meat inside wasn't too dry over over cooked. just perfect! Will come back again in the area especially going for dessert at Snowy village next door! Very cute bathroom key too! seating area outside is looking a bit dirty but it's also free to sit so just grab some napkins to clean or dust things off and you'll be good Bathroom paper towel dispenser stopped working but they had paper towels on top of the dispenser - responding to owners comment: this was surely not a negative comment or feedback. it's to let viewers know to use paper towels to dry their hands before walking out if they didn't see it I did find it a bit gross that the door had sauce (unless it's something else) smear on it and looked very unsanitary. - responding to owners comment: not negative comment or feedback. it's for the viewers to please note your hand smears with sauce on the door looks displeasing so please wash hands and use the towels to dry hands and clean the door and handles after use! **Did not want to subtract another star for this because their wings are very very good but i hope they do take of the bathroom sanitation and appearance as it is also where people washed their hands before and after eating. - responding to owners comment: yes i've been in food industry and helped family run two restaurants and know that it is very easy for kids and anyone going in and out carelessly making bathrooms a mess. Again this isn't negative feedback for your team, it's yes to note for staff to ensure it is clean and have soap and paper towel. to dry hands. If anything Diners/Viewers: please be courteous to the public space of use because everyone uses them and have the same privilege and responsibilities to a clean environment for dinning. Please due diligence and clean after yourselves ****** Again, nothing bad to comment or say. The wings quality is SUPERB. 10/10 ans the sauce is killa!! so all positive attitude only and many blessings from God

We finally got to try Twozone today and my goodness was it fantastic. We couldn't decide so of course ordered way too much food. We tried the small sizes of boneless soy garlic and honey butter, along with the potato corn dog and the tteokbokki with a boiled egg. All of it was fantastic. The chicken was crispy and moist. The tteokbokki was super flavorful and was cooked perfectly. The potato corn dog was a bit too sweet for me. It had some sort of sweet cheese in it along with the sugar on top. If you dip it in the mustard it does help. Can't wait to go back and try some more items

Sundar street parking is free in certain zones before 1 pm, it was less than a 5 min walk from the restaurant. The waiters have a southern hospitality type of vibe which was nice. Now for the food: Praline bacon: 8/10 sweet and savory, nutty and bacony. It was good but would I pay $12 for 3 strips of bacon again? Probably not. Bananas foster French toast: 10/10 buttery, sweet caramelized bananas, great for dessert or breakfast if you're a sweet breakfast kind of person. Chicken fried steak with sausage gravy: 7/10 there a lot of chewy bits in steak and it was already a very thin cut. Also comes with scrambled eggs and potatoes. Potatoes were the best part since they were seasoned very well. Chicken and biscuit: 8/10 classic chicken and biscuit Shrimp and grits: 7/10 grits felt really heavy to eat and the shrimp was salty. It comes with an egg under the shrimp and a biscuit on the side so that helped dilute the salt a bit

We entered and the place is nice but no particularly great atmosphere it's glorified fast food where you order at the counter we picked chicken strips and chicken sandwiches and were seated while we waited for the food. It came out fast and hot and the chicken was unbelievably juicy and flavorful my kids love the waffle fries the restaurant itself is nicely kept up although the bathroom is scary and feels like it's from the movie Trainspotting for some reason where who knows what happens in there the lid of the toilet seat is missing so as you use the toilet you can look into the top of the toilet, you can watch the water and have a ocean view.
