Love this place.. one of the best burger places in town there's only one other place that even comes close and though they're just as tasty, 2 Roads has much better prices. I got the hangover burger it was amazing and I definitely recommend the 2 Roads sauce for the burger and fries or onion rings it's some good stuff.. my wife ordered the Brie Me Burger which was also outstanding, perfect combo of Brie and balsamic glaze and their burgers are high quality as well! I went in on a VERY BUSY day and received top notch service right from the get go! The hostess was super polite and respectful despite being obviously extremely busy, we were asking about take out as we are local and sometimes just wanna eat at the house. She said no problem and took our order and said 10-15 minutes. No problem we took a seat at the bar and ordered a couple drinks, the bartender was doing an outstanding job, every single seat was full and he was the only bartender as they were understaffed yet he was doing a phenomenal job getting everyone served in a timely manner can't ask for more from your server.. food was out in just about 10 minutes and we were off.. got home and the order was perfect and delicious. We went out of the way to leave a nice tip because they most certainly deserved it, I felt like I couldn't have tipped enough that particular day as the entire staff up to and including the bar back were just making it happen!! Food was extremely mediocre. $18 for a burger sub grilled chicken. (Photo) ordered no bun (celiac) they brought with bun, I removed. Chicken was tiny, and so dry I could hardly swallow it. The vein wasn't cleaned out so the middle I spit out into my hand. For a piece of chicken that small you could at least clean it. Server checked in 12 min after we got food and after a long day on the beach, we just wanted food, this is the only place with no wait and now I know why. Server was busy talking about cockroaches vs water bugs with a fellow coworker while the rest of us are eating our food. This place should go back to being longboards with karaoke. Maybe people would show up. It's disappointing. read more

The new location has great staff. The food is consistently fresh and the portions are generous. My go to meal is their famous Chicken Brine Sandwiches the chicken breast is very large and the sauce is quite spicy. The dining room is very spacious and well lit. It's completely different from the old dark location. read more

I simply cannot believe it has been nine years since we lunched at Two Roads. Since that time they moved to their new location in the former Longboards. I talked Ms T into trying it again. We just can't handle a big lunch and wanted to avoid leftovers, so decided to split a pickle brined chicken sandwich with fries and an extra side of slaw. The sandwich was OK. To start with it needed more seasoning. How about breaking out the black pepper and garlic powder? The meat was uncharacteristically tough/chewy for chicken breast. I suggest they need to be pounding it to tenderize it and then brine it. It was actually hard for us to cut and eat. It really looked nice, but I think I am done with pickle brined chicken. It just never gets enough brine impact. They make good small caliber fries that were piping hot and the slaw was fine for me. Ms T did not care for it so I got it all. Our food was OK, not stellar. The service was excellent, but I still can't make this better than three stars. I hope to convince her to return for a burger during this trip. read more

This is by far the best breaded shrimp I have ever eaten and that says a lot because I'm from Hawai'i. (Sorry HI ) it did get extremely busy so go at off peak hours of lunch and dinner. The green beans had a very strong garlic taste and I couldn't get enough. The Mac was a bit dry so I give that a 5 but everything else was a 10/10, including the staff. read more

A large open space with ample parking, this place probably jumps during the busy season! We received a friendly greeting and were seated immediately. We had the cheese curds, which were served with a Jamaican Jerk aioli, they were tasty! I had the shrimp po-boy, it was ok, the remoulade wasn't exceptional, so I added some of the jerk aioli to spice it up. I'd recommend adding some hot sauce. Mac n cheese was a decent side. My son had the pickle brined chicken sandwich, which he enjoyed. It want off the charts good, but it was above average. read more

Our first time trying here while we were in OBX. The food was really good especially the mashed potatoes and fried shrimp. The batter was light and seasoned well. Everything was great. We returned again the next day with some friends and sat in the dining area. Service was good even though the second day was busier. Nice place to also watch a game. Our server was so lovely, the crab cake was good and that's the only good part of the meal. The fried oysters were so mushy, that I almost gagged. After hearing good things about two roads and their new location, we've been looking to try it out. The new space is pretty large so we were able to walk in and sit down right away. The tables are spaced apart so it didn't feel crowded and felt like it could even accommodate more people. Our server Patrick was friendly and attentive. The cocktail menu included several crushes which are a good beach drink. The food is a bit limited (looks like maybe before they moved they had a larger menu). I had the pickle brined chicken sandwich which was a huge portion but it had just a touch too much sauce for me. It was almost impossible to pickup given the sauce, so I'll ask for it on the side next. If you decide to substitute anything in place of fries, it appears as if you have to pay for that side outright (sub charges are the same for ordering as a side). So maybe get the fries and then order the side is best bang for your buck. Others at my table has the special burger and the shrimp po'boy. We enjoyed it all. The green beans are sautéed and tasty and the onion rings and fries were good. In the room we were in there was art for sale and it wasn't too loud, but the main area including bar was louder. read more

Nice restaurant on the Outer Banks with a good selection of American and seafood selections.we were seated quickly. Unfortunately the view was only of sports bar TVs. The best view is outside the bathroom doors! Would have liked a table there. The service was quick and efficient The grilled Mahi was excellently prepared. The Oyster sampler was delicious but not enough food for a dinner but $29. The coconut shrimp was good but nothing special. The fried shrimp was not cooked crispy, the coating was kind of soggy. Love the atmosphere here and the staff is great. Very attentive, friendly and certainly on top of things, especially the bar tender. The food was very good. They are decked out in a home alone theme for the 12 bars of Christmas, and they nailed it! We went for dinner inside at the bar. The service was great. We split the turkey sandwich with stuffing, goat cheese, cranberry sauce, and arugula. It was served on grilled sourdough and it was amazing, I wanted to go back and eat it again, but didn't have time. It is syrup with warm homemade chips. They have a fun holiday drink menu as well. I loved the filthy animal! It tasted like alcoholic butter, beer. If you were in the area, definitely hit them up! read more

I had to the peach spritz and weekend at Tito's. My boyfriend had the hangover burger. They didn't ask him how he wanted it. He said it was alright. The new location gets 2 thumbs up!! This was the first time here and I'm so happy that it's larger and the layout is open and fun. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed it. Great server and best meal, I had the fried shrimp dinner, with mashed potatoes and green beans. The shrimp were cooked and breaded perfectly, juicy and dipped in their signature sauce made them even better. The mashed potatoes were the best I've had out!! I'm not sure there was even an oyster in a couple of them. For $29 I expected better. Sweet potato fries were very good. Wife's spinach salad topped with 6 nice size fried oysters was very good. Service was very good. Ambiance was typical bar type. Value is questionable. Above meal with tip was about $71. Could have saved $3.50 by paying cash as they obviously add a credit card fee into their pricing. read more

Food was excellent. We got a variety of appetizers to try (Buffalo Shrimp, fried pickles, tuna bites, roasted oysters, and chicken bites). The fried pickles dipped into the bufflow sauce are amazing. For the main course, we had the fried seafood platter (comes with mahi mahi, fried oysters and shrimp, and I got the sweet potato fries). We also had the mahi mahi dinner and shrimp poboy sando. I ordered the hangover burger which came with fries. It was good. I liked the bacon jam but it became a little overwhelming after a few bites. The food is extremely solid to very good bar food. The real reason to come here is for sports. The TV's are plentiful with super high-quality pictures. However, it is a curious place in that it closes at 9 which means you can't see the end of many games or the start of any that occur after that time. We were down here for vacation and considering what's closed in the off-season, this was close and well... open. Although considering the options were few, they did quite well with the food and service. Walking in, it's a great feel with the servers and staff being very friendly. Maybe not a repeat for me - as a non seafood eater, I can't speak to their main focus. the meal we had - a steak and cheese and Caesar with grilled chicken, was fine. My issue is the lack of other non- fish options. Burgers are out because they don't cook them to your order- medium well only (ugh). The service was good - very friendly and quick.
