This new restaurant is my neighborhood and because of the intense construction around it I thought I'd give it a try and support it. I had good service and the food which for some reason wasn't expecting an egg and kale sandwich $14, and a cup of coffee $3.50 and a refill to go, another $3.50. and then a 20% tip for a total of $27.16 - - I don't know, maybe the charge for a coffee refill rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe if I'd gotten a glass of juice it would have been $35+- for my breakfast. It's a nice atmosphere and I wish them well. read more

It was then when our experience was met with overwhelming excitement. The very friendly and hunk of a bartender named Travis. Service- 1 star Food- 4 stars I rounded up the average to 3 stars Service- I arrived at 8:20am and was one of 3 people there. By 8:45 I was the only customer there. I say this to paint the picture of why I was dissatisfied. The host promptly sat me down and got me coffee within 5 minutes. He also came back in a timely fashion to take my order. After this, I waited more than 30 minutes for anyone to ask me if I wanted more coffee. The host was eating his breakfast near the host stand and the 2 other servers were busy chatting behind the bar. I was the only person inside for nearly 30min and no one checked on me/my empty mug. I've been to less-fancy diners where servers are more attentive than I experienced here. Food- I couldn't decide so I got the breakfast burrito and the brassica bowl+salmon. The taste for both was great! The burrito was spicy, so keep that in mind if you don't like spice. Also, there are mushrooms but they're big enough to pick out if you don't like them. You can't make substitutions, but it's tasty as is. The brassica bowl was fresh. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Ambience- the place was clean but the music was really loud. I think they were trying to drown out the construction next store. Overall, I will not return solely based on the bad service. I can get tasty food elsewhere. read more

Landed in Nashville on a hot September Saturday morning and this was the first place that popped up when searching for brunch in the area. I have been to the Church St location Two Hands in NYC and can recall the food was good there so it was a no brainer. The food here was indeed really good, minus the steak and eggs dish. I couldn't tell what cut the steak was, it was tiny and overcooked. Everything else was amazing, the hash, the egg was cooked perfectly. We also had the avocado smash with added grilled hallumi which was perfectly delicious. Highlight of the brunch tho *drumroll* banana walnut bread topped with whipped espresso mascarpone, pictured in this review! Soooo good!!! Why four stars if the steak wasn't that good? Hoping they had a bad piece of steak because everything else was excellent! Service was really good and our waitress was super sweet and accommodating. Food & service are great. It gets a little loud in there during rush time and expect a wait during meal times. There are gluten free options which is much aprreciated. After paying $17 to park, a chair was moved for me to the corner of the bar facing a pole. It was an awkward and uncomfortable spot and even the guests next to me offered me their space, saying they were leaving soon. I don't know why I was sat here when there were other available seats at the bar- maybe because the available space was next to a gentleman who was "manspreading" and rather than inconvenience him, I had to be inconvenienced by being sat in an uncomfortable position. I was never acknowledged by service staff, as they helped others near me and carried on conversations. After some time, the host then brought me the wrong order, when I hadn't placed my order yet. She then proceeded to take my order, suddenly aware that no one had helped me. Then I was informed that the item I wanted was not available. This series of negative experiences caused me to leave without ordering, so I can't comment on the food. I'm sad this didn't work out. The menu looks great and the atmosphere is wonderful, but I was overlooked made to feel not valued as a solo guest. read more

We wanted this place to be great! We eat brunch often and when I heard about two hands I had an image of something unique and hip! Munch to our chagrin they are serving the same brunch food as everyone else, just not as good. Does it say Australian? What does that mean? Aside from some Koalas painted on the outside wall there is nothing unique. All the food took over 30 minutes mostly as it sat in the window. The waffle was cold and dense like a pound cake. Terrible. The Avocado Toast was watery and poorly salted. But, the king of failures is whoever decided to sever the hash brown shaped like a small hockey puck. EVERYONE knows the best parts of a hash brown are the crispy crunchy potato strings. When you serve a 2" thick puck you get 1.5 inches of uncooked, unseasoned soft white potato in the center. It was simply put, embarrassing. The highlight of this entire establishment is the pastries that they purchase locally to then resell. I hope they can figure things out because the interior is very cozy and beautiful. read more
