The food and service was excellent. My wife and I loved our experience there. If we visit the state again it will be on our list of stops.

This restaurant is attached to Canopy Hilton, the hotel I was staying at. I had the matcha latte ($5.5) açai yogurt bowl ($14) and the eggs benedict ($17). The acai yogurt bowl was really fresh delicious! The ham in the eggs benedict was way too salty and the hollandaise was sort of weird and fluffy. The eggs were perfectly poached though. Stopped in during the Diskin Cider takeover and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It's a nice casual/slightly upper casual spot to grab some drinks and meet with some friends. I didn't prefer any food but the menu looked very solid and they have a happy hour from 4-6! The silo was mid at best, service was not good at all. We were hardly greeted, although it seemed no one was busy. Our waitress seemed to be disinterested and had an AirPod in while taking care of us. Service was slow and took a long time to get our food. The pizza was the best thing to get, which seems like it comes from an attached business. The cacio e pepe was our biggest disappointment, which was definitely Alfredo, and had absolutely no pepper in it. For being the only customers sitting, it took a while for us to be able to call over our waitress to get pepper for the meal. Overall, the service and lack of care for customers put a damper on the evening. read more

Silo was such a treat for a Monday! My friend and I walked in and we were happily greeted by the bartender Nicki! She was so kind and checked on us often making sure we were good. We had the hummus plate which was delicious. I loved the plating of it and the crudités as well as pickled onion. My friend had the fish tacos, and I had the cobb salad with salmon and no corn. The salmon was warm and the green goddess dressing was perfect. I didn't need any other seasonings. The place was nice to sit in and have our wines and beers while we got some work done, and the christmas tree gave a nice cozy feel. It was nice and chill. read more

Chance is honestly the best -- great personality, super friendly, and always has spot-on recommendations. The service here is always amazing, which really makes the experience. The drinks are great overall. The wine is honestly pretty subpar, but they've got lots of Yazoo beer options, which is awesome. They even have a really good non-alcoholic beer that totally surprised me -- definitely worth trying if you're skipping alcohol. Food-wise, it's a little mixed. The pizza is just okay (I'd stick with pepperoni or cheese), but the other dishes are solid. We love the steak and fries, the chicken bowl, and the hummus appetizer -- all super tasty. All in all, Silo's one of those spots where the people, drinks, and vibe make it worth coming back. Grab a seat at the bar, ask for Chance, and you'll have a great time! read more

It doesn't appear that anyone actually works here. We've been waiting for 15 minutes and haven't seen a single employee of this restaurant. Guess we'll take our business elsewhere. The previous two times we tried to go there they were closed for an unannounced private event. Three strikes and you're out - not wasting any more of our time on this place. read more

So this is actually one of my new favorite spots mostly because it is not overcrowded and the space itself is pretty large with it being in a hotel it feels super nice with the high ceilings especially when you're here for brunch or a little coffee session you get to people watch it's so nice. I enjoy it very much especially when you get inside away from the craziness of downtown. OK, but the food is everything and I think nashville is sleeping on silo!! I feel like the food is so fresh. I'm not sure if it's farm to table, but I definitely can taste the difference. I've gotten the pizza once which was obviously not during the morning, but I have got it there and oh my God I want to go back so very badly just for their pizza so delicious. I don't remember the last time I had pizza this good and I'm low-key hard to please when it comes to pizza. OK, back to the breakfast/brunch The iced latte was super good that did not disappoint We got the avocado toast with eggs, so good did not disappoint as well And it came with a fresh vegetables, fresh carrots We enjoyed it very much 10 out of 10 I'd recommend and the service is so good. The server was so kind to us super attentive very patient did not rush us because it did take us a second to decide what we wanted just because we weren't super hungry and we were gonna share everything so we appreciated his patience and his grace. If you're looking for a spot that isn't overcrowded feels like you're in a big room which you are with great food and great lattes. It was a beautiful evening so my bf and I stopped in at the outdoor bar counter of Silo at the Canopy hotel and I am very glad we did! There were multiple bartenders who came by to check on us and get our order. For drinks we had a margarita and a dirty vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives - yay! The drinks were very good and came out quickly, and we decided to try the menu. I love that they offer pizza from the 5 Points window in the hotel! The all day menu is elevated gastropub with some lighter options like salads, protein bowls, and appetizers, but also have entrees and sandwiches as well. I ordered the ponzu tuna bowl and it was excellent. The bowl was fresh and came with guacamole and noodles. The chicken tenders were just ok. For having so much sauce on them they somehow weren't super flavorful or interesting. The spicy pickles on the side were very good though, as were the side of fries. I really appreciate that Silo is honoring some Nashville history with the design and menu (the Yazoo brewery was in the same spot years ago for those who don't remember). I'm impressed. (And it takes a bit to impress me). This little restaurant located in "The Canopy" hotel in the gulch is surprisingly great! The breakfast is delicious. Service is attentive and on point (shout out our server Shubham) Management is always pitching in to make the experience better. Try the honey latte and avocado toast or breakfast Sammie's. What was most surprising is that this restaurant has only been open ONE MONTH and they function like a well oiled machine. Bravo! read more

What a great addition to the Gulch! From the second we walked in, the four of us had an amazing experience at Silo. We were welcomed and greeted warmly and promptly by the hostess and our server. Our server explained a bit of the concept and backstory behind Silo (former site of Yazoo brewery). We loved the menu! We were there for breakfast, but were interested to learn about their lunch and dinner offerings. There is a full well-stocked bar with all Yazoo beers on tap. Very cool, and great ambiance and vibe. There were no bad views from any tables due to the enormous windows and lots of natural light, great for people watching! I had the build your own omelette, and it was delicious. The sprinkling of coarse sea salt on top of the omelette put it over the top, and there was a blistered tomato garnish on my plate that I loved. Drinks were all awesome, because the restaurant has partnered with 8th and Roast so you know the coffee was great. All three of my other companions couldn't turn down the lemon lime agave pancakes. They looked awesome and no one had anything left on their plates. We can't wait to come back for their lunch or dinner; from what we hear it's already the spot to be after work. So happy to have this great new addition to the Gulch's dining scene! read more

Silo is easily one of my favorite spots in the Gulch! I'm always looking for places that feel special. Silo hits the mark. The salmon here is next-level, perfectly seasoned, so flaky and tender that it just melts in your mouth. I've had it twice now, and both times it was spot-on, which says a lot about how consistent their kitchen is. The service is phenomenal. From the moment you sit down, you feel like you're the only guest they're taking care of, which makes the whole experience feel personal and warm. There's something about the subtle pizza aroma in the background that gives the space this cozy, inviting vibe--it's unique and kind of unexpected for a hotel restaurant. Silo is set in a top-notch hotel, but honestly, it doesn't feel like a "hotel restaurant" at all. The atmosphere is chic yet relaxed, perfect for a night out with friends or even a casual date night. My friends and I came here during the snowstorm after everything calmed down. we waited 20 mins to sit down which was fine. We ordered all at once so it might be quicker... we ended up waiting for 2 hours to get out of there. We were missing our appetizer, three sides, and burger toppings. The manager couldn't care less about us as well as our server Santiago. It was freezing in there since the doors kept opening and the music was loud. Do not recommend coming here if you don't plan on wasting your time. The service was not the best - our server took twice as long to get us drinks as the table next to us (who had a different server). She never once checked on us after we got our food and we even had to go track down salt and pepper. The food was decent but nothing to ride home about. Took forever for a server to acknowledge us, had to ask where our cappuccino was 10 minutes after drip coffee was delivered, had to ask for coffee refills. Food was 20-25 minutes and didn't look like the pictures on Yelp. Food was ok but not memorable. I didn't know the restaurant was in a hotel lobby, open to the lobby, one single room.
