Don't even bother making a reservation here because you will end up waiting forever for your table anyways. We got seated about 30-45 minutes after our reservation and then once we were seated it took about another 30-45 just to get our drinks. The food was pretty good. I really liked the kale caesar salad and my egg and cheese biscuit. We came for bottomless mimosas & they brought us out crafts of champagne and juice which was way more preferable to refilling our glasses with premixed mimosa. So incredibly mediocre. The biscuits came out cold but they tasted good. They are thick and pillowy but kind of plain nothing very special about it. They were unfortunately the best part of my meal. The chicken and waffles are... interesting. I like that the waffle is on the denser side but the chicken was not good at all. The chicken and the breading separated, lacked flavor and it tasted old. Our food came out alarmingly quick which raised some red flags for me. My friend didn't really enjoy her food and immediately had the runs. Saturday Brunch with bottomless mimosas and featuring some dope people. Liberty Common was a new spot for all of us, and we were not disappointed! The lighting is super inviting, the bar setup is very appealing to the eye and has great selection. The DJ has a mixed bag of music for all customers. Service was great! The food was pretty good (my Nashville Hot Chicken was fried a little too hard, and the Blueberry & Lemon pancakes had way too much blueberry, made the pancakes super soggy). Liberty Commons has a top-notch, gorgeous interior and the beauty extends to the food itself. Everything is trendy and hip, perfect to its Nashville tourist clientele. However, our food itself was mediocre and absolutely, in no way shape or form, worth the listed prices. You will absolutely leave feeling cheated out of your hard-earned money as the taste of the food is way too basic and the service is very neglectful to justify these $$$ prices. This was not a good experience at all here. Our server was so rude, stating "you kind of just have to figure it out yourself" when asked about gluten free options (I have a gluten allergy). There were so many careless remarks made by our server, we all felt like an inconvenience. Not once were we checked on when eating our food. Another thing, they were all out of soap in the women's bathroom the entire time we were there and when we informed them, they continued to tell us that there was soap underneath the sinks so that we could refill the soap ourselves. We stood at the front to await our uber afterwards and heard people complaining in the front that they had been waiting ten minutes to even be greeted by a host. The service here was terrible. Visited Liberty Common for Sunday. brunch. Absolutely love the ambiance and interior design of the restaurant. Reservations are recommended, but we were able to walk in before the crowd arrived. We ordered the Southern Fried Chicken and Waffle and the Nashville Hot Liberty Chicken Sandwich with a side of fries. Each of the dishes had great flavor and we would order both of these again. Shoutout the Liberty Common staff for being so accommodating to me and my friend who had just gotten off a flight to Nashville and were super hungry. They allowed us to order brunch at the bar to go since they were closing to open for dinner service in 30 minutes. I ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes with a side of bacon and my friend ordered the liberty chicken sandwich. My pancakes were sooo good and not overwhelmingly sweet, especially since the blueberry and lemon compote added the sweetness. My friend loved her chicken sandwich and of the other places we tried Nashville hot chicken, she appreciated not just the flavor of the chicken but the flavors of the biscuit they used. We had brunch here this morning and I loved every bit of it. The decor was airy yet festive, the menu had all kinds of fabulous options, and the food was delicious. (Don't sleep on the lemon curd options, and also make sure to get the fabulously crispy potatoes.) But the star of the show was our amazing server, Lauren. I don't think I've ever written a yelp review before, but I felt compelled to do so because of her stellar service. She was peppy, funny, and SO helpful!! She gave us plenty of suggestions of things on the menu, bantered with us and slowed down her order taking to accommodate a couple people who hadn't yet decided what to get, and was overall the best server I've ever had in my life. We tipped well, but I hope her manager sees this and gives her a raise - she rocked!! We'll definitely be back to this café next time we come to Nashville. read more

Reservations are highly recommended as this place gets busy -especially for weekend brunch. We arrived after football start time so not as busy as usual but the service was quite slow. I ordered a cocktail, the just rum with it, from the menu but was told it was discontinued. It was a simple drink and with a full bar the staff could have easily honored my request but chose not too. I rejected the substitution of a pineapple mimosa which was pretty flat and ordered a coffee instead. Other than the poor service the food was good but expensive- we actually paid $12 for an extra pancake when the full stack with accompaniments was $17. I won't return. read more

My family and I had Mother's Day brunch at liberty common! We made a reservation for four and arrived about five minutes before our reservation. There were no other groups waiting in front of us but they did say it would be a few minutes for our table. We waited about 20 minutes, during this time we saw multiple groups of two and four arrived for reservations that were at the same time as us they were seated much more promptly. We checked in with the hostess a couple of times and they explained to us that the table we were assigned still had other guests at it and it didn't matter that we checked in before the other groups that we had to wait for that specific table. They do have bar seating which is super nice if you don't want to wait for a table. They have a great selection of coffees and bubbly options. We had vanilla lattes that were perfect. For food I had the hot chicken and waffles and boy was the chicken spicy. My mom had the eggs Benedict which was also really good and comes with a side of potatoes that are tossed in Parmesan and seasoning.
