First Watch was perhaps our best breakfast experience during our recent stay in Nashville. The only distraction was some construction noise from the nearby work on Dolly Parton's Story-Teller Hotel. We were here in the morning mid-week, so there were no crowds or a wait. Booth seating, friendly service, and our selections were all spot on. My choice was the B.E.C breakfast sandwich, while Gayle opted for the Chile Chorizo Omelet. I washed mine down with coffee and OJ, while Gayle went for coffee and a Mimosa. This was all a lot of food, that made any later lunch time meal unnecessary. read more

Our uber driver suggested this brunch spot and so we checked it out and it was amazing!! The place was busy and the waiting room is small, but worth it! The first look inside was beautiful and spacious! We got a big booth table right next to the bathroom, but it fit all 8 of us. They even have a farm table at the top of the stairs. The food was out of this world! Definitely ate almost my whole breakfast, my sister finished her whole cinnamon chip pancake breakfast. The coffee was awesome. And the waitress was so attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend this spot if you want some good 'ol fashioned country breakfast with a warm atmosphere! read more

This is my first time coming to first watch. I have them in Houston and I've just never been because I don't have one around the corner like other brunch places. Everything we ordered was large portions and the prices were not bad at all. I literally got French toast and a soda for 20 bucks. And the French toast came with like a blueberry compote. No complaints about my food and I also enjoyed that they allow you to self serve coffee while you're waiting in line for a table so that's why I ordered a soda because I already had my coffee while waiting. Not sure if all the locations are like this, but the one in downtown Nashville was very pretty and a loft vibe to it. My mom wanted to come here on St. Patty's to get corned beef hash. Unfortunately she didn't read that it was just hash, so she had the farmhouse hash while I had the chickenchanga. Both were very good. We had walked in with a party of 10 at 10 am and got seated immediately. Nice staff and a good breakfast. Love First Watch! Wish I had went sooner during our trip. They have many healthy options. Everything came out delicious and it's such a cute place. Love the decor inside. I had the Pomegranate Sunrise and the Elevated Egg sandwich. My husband had the Morning Meditation juice with the Trifecta, which he chose waffle and bacon as his choices. Good spot for brunch in downtown Nashville. The food and drink are great, but unfortunately the service is mediocre at best. Location is great just off of Broadway, but that means parking is street parking or parking ramps nearby. There was confusion on entering on how to notify staff you're there. I did get a table quickly for a party of one, but the staff was not attentive. I got the Works Omelet with potatoes and a Bloody Mary. The food and drink were great, but the service was not. Shortly after the food came out the waitress brought the bill. She did not ask if I wanted anything else. I would have ordered another drink, but it seemed like they were more focused on the quantity of patrons than quality of their experience. Lots of options on the menu and I always leave satisfied with my choice. Today, I got a giant pancake, with scrambled eggs, pork sausage, grits, and salad greens. About the good: pancake was good, though a bit on the dry side for my taste. Eggs were fluffy and well seasoned, but for my taste, just slightly overcooked. The grits were creamy and nicely flavored (garlic and butter?), but had a few lumps. Everything had a great flavor, but there were just a couple minor areas of improvement. We live in the Bay Area and while we don't have a location near us, we jump at the chance to go when we are out of town. This location was amazing. My favorite thing about these restaurants is that they are super consistent. From the service, to the ambience and most importantly, the food they are all five stars thus far. Our server was also bartending but was still very attentive and helpful. The fresh squeezed juices are delicious and the food is always fresh. Great location! read more

My first time going to First Watch, I didn't know they have several in different states. It's not in NYC. Luckily, this was up the block from the hotel we stayed at and it's right off Broadway. Everything we had was good & our waitress was nice. First let's talk about the Purple Haze o sooooo super good and refreshing. I'm not a pancake or French toast girlie (I'm a waffles girlie) but I tried both this weekend in Nashville. The Hawaiian French Toast was really tasty had a nice blend to it. I am a huge fan of First Watch. This seems to be a newly opened location right off of Broadway. We went early on a Saturday morning so we didn't have to wait. We joined the waitlist before we got there, but it wasn't even needed. By the time we left it was getting pretty packed. Their iced coffees are so delicious! I love the cold foam they put on them. I highly recommend ordering one! I got the Chickichanga breakfast wrap and it was absolutely delicious! I swapped the potatoes for the grits. Very good choice I made. Brunch at First Watch is a must! They sourced fresh ingredients that are in season and you definitely can taste that! For brunch, there are so many options (sweet, savory, mix). Service here was phenomenal, everyone was so nice and attentive and gave good recommendations. I got the skillet hash - Farmhouse with bacon, avocado, veggies, sunny side eggs, and cheese and it was delicious. Very hearty and yummy. It also came with toast, which goes well with the dish. My friend got the chickichanga and I tried a bite of it and it was so good, I will have to get this next time!! It was like a breakfast burrito fried with this verde chili sauce that sealed the deal. It comes with potatoes and fruit, making this a great savory order. Their fresh juices are the best. My husband and I are big time fans of First Watch, and we were so excited to check out this new location off of Broadway! We popped by on a chilly Sunday morning and were thrilled to snag a table for brunch. Parking is potentially going to be expensive (it is Downtown Nashville, after all), but there are garages located right next door and right across from the restaurant. If you're going to have a few mimosas, I recommend ordering a rideshare. There were several people waiting when we arrived just before 10 am, but we put our names in and were seated in less than 10 minutes! There's plenty of space for large parties to wait in the lobby area, and the dining area is actually up a couple flights of stairs, so even if the restaurant is busy, it doesn't feel crowded. Our service was fast and friendly - especially considering that this was a Sunday during brunch! We were served coffee right as we were seated, and then our drinks shortly after that. I ordered their Million Dollar Bloody Mary, which is probably one of the best I've had in Nashville! My husband sampled the Cinnamon Toast Cereal Milk cocktail, which he also quite enjoyed. For my entree, I went with the delicious-sounding "Chickichanga." This will probably be my new go-to brunch order. A crispy tortilla is filled with cheese, chicken, eggs, etc. and then topped with "Vera Cruz" sauce, which is good enough to bathe in. My husband typically orders the Breakfast Power Bowl, but instead went with the Farmhouse Skillet Hash. You have the option to pay at the cashier downstairs, or via QR code (which is soooo easy!) We'll definitely return to this bright and beautiful new location soon for another memorable breakfast! read more

We were able to visit for their friends and family event during the soft opening and the staff were SO friendly. The food was consistent as always with First Watch, and so dang good. We actually came here for breakfast and then headed to Nissan Stadium for a Titans game, so I think this location will be a great option for pre-game bites. My favorite thing at First Watch is actually one of the juices, but I LOVE the morning mediation and it was so good and refreshing. I also learned it was only $1 to add an immunity booster to it, so I did that as well for the first time. The service was 10/10 and our server was very attentive and always checked in on us. The juices are First Watch are very fresh. I got the Morning meditation which had ginger, tumeric, lemon, agave, and beet and it was refreshing. You can taste all the fresh ingredients. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was delicious and it came with potatoes or salad. Great balance of flavors and the hollandaise sauce was buttery and a good balance. I opted for the potatoes and they were good. The only one thing that I didn't love (that isn't the restaurant's fault at all) was parking options unless I missed if they had validation somewhere. This place is absolutely Fabulous! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and sat at the bar! What a treat! First let me say that we flew in the day before the CMA FEST and we were not used to this Nashville heat so we were exhausted, dehydrated. The heat and the crowds from the night before had us with low energy. This place gave us the energy we needed. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I was highly impressed with our bartender Zackary. His hospitality was 5 Star and his enthusiasm and knowledge about the history of the restaurant was very impressive. He shared a bit of Nashville history with us too. I had never heard of First Watch. Management came over and talked to us about Nashville in general and was very helpful with our tourism questions. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We ordered Avocado Toast, The traditional breakfast and FarmHouse Hash!!! Coffee is delicious and we were so happy with our food and service that we went back the next day received the same extraordinary service! I highly recommend this place for Breakfast and Brunch! My first time at First Watch and we were seated immediately which is great on a Sunday football day. The greeter/cashier, don't remember his name but super sweet guy & lovely personality! Awesome person to have at the front door when you walk in our waitress was Taylor she was very nice and on top of her game. We got 1 kale tonic w/ booster added and 1 morning meditation w/booster. They were both delish! However the Kale Tonic was insane and I wish I had gotten that. It was so refreshing & amazingly fresh. I had the chickichanga which was very tasty and delicious. I couldn't see any egg in it though so not sure if it somehow missed it. But it was still very flavorful & I loved the potatoes. The mix of onions & seasoning was spot on. My husband had the Healthy Turkey and that was really delicious too. Overall I'd come back here in a heartbeat! Food, juice, staff all go above & beyond and it really shows! Also, to Kameron our server, brought us delicious hot food and kept our coffee cups full to every need we had . Hollandaise sauce on eggs bene was perfection, velvety smooth with a hint of lemon. Gravy on the biscuits and gravy had chunks of sausage and was seasoned well, always a sign of a true Chef!
