A strong 9 My sister ordered the seasonal hey puddin' coffee, she liked it but cold brew isn't her favorite, it was a strong 8 regardless. Interior is pretty cute, one of the better options within walking distance of all the hotels in downtown Nashville for breakfast. Friendly staff. I got a chai latte and oats. Chai latte was pretty good. Wouldn't recommend the oats as it was basically drenched in berry puree. Since it is attached to a hotel pricing is more than normal. read more

Dawn Cafe is such a cute little coffee shop in downtown Nashville! This awesome coffee shop is located inside Bode, which is this super cute hotel. I would have never know it was here if it wasn't because our friends were staying at this hotel. Dawn Cafe has this amazing rustic chic vibe which is super inviting. Besides their amazing coffee menu, they also have multiple refrigerator full with snacks, and others beverages, which was great since we were going on a long walk and I needed some to-go snacks. For my first time here I decided to order their iced chai tea which was made to perfection! Their food menu also looked pretty good, but unfortunately didn't have time to check that out. read more

The coffee here was just okay -- nothing too special, kind of mid compared to other coffee spots I've tried. What really stood out though was the design and decor of the café. It's super aesthetic, with a cozy and chill atmosphere that makes it a nice place to hang out or get some work done. The nature-inspired touches add a very cool vibe. This is such a cute coffee shop. Nice array of coffees, some with liquor. It's very bright with huge windows. It's very chill and I saw many people working on their laptops. There's an outdoors sitting area to enjoy the weather. They have a station for sparkling or flat water (which is a nice option) the market has candles and a really nice lotion for sell. As we sipped our coffee we played a card game, but had the option of checkers, tic tic toe, and cards against humanity. It's fairly close to many hotels and on a sunny day iit's what the doctor ordered. read more

A great place to stuck when it's pouring outside! Which is what happened to me, but talk about a happy accident. The staff here is super friendly and the coffee they serve is strong! This cozy hotel lobby coffee shop gives off fall European cabin vibes... or maybe it was just the pumpkins they had sitting outside? Pricey. I'm not afraid to spend a buck but almost $21 for 2 bagels with cream cheese and 2 bottles of juice??? AND, of course, the "how much tip do you want to leave" is the first thing on the credit card machine. Maybe it's just me but absolutely NO VALUE to be found here. I'm quite disappointed. I came here with my family on vacation, excited to see what Nashville coffee has to offer. However, as soon as we walked in, we were greeted with unpleasant attitudes from the barista. While giving our order, we were repeatedly told that they aren't Starbucks and our orders were very "Starbucks-like." We felt unwanted and excluded as they just left our orders on the counter. Stopped by this cute coffee shop on the way out of Nashville. There is plenty of seating inside and outside (with fire pits). We ordered iced mocha oat milk lattes and they were really tasty! You get free parking for up to 2 hours, which is convenient. Happy with my visit :) read more

I stopped into Bode Hub for a late night bite, and I really enjoyed my visit. There's an outdoor seating area that's really nice, but I was visiting late, so it was dark and a bit chilly, and I opted to stay inside. The indoor area is roomy with lots of seating. There's a full bar and plenty of non-alcoholic options for drinks as well. They have a small, but ranging, menu of food to order, and plenty of snack items to purchase from the shelves. They also have lots of souvenirs and travel items for purchase, so it's a great spot to check out if you've forgotten to pack something, or you're looking for something fun to take home with you. I ordered Pretzels & Beer Cheese and a Topo Chico. The server opened my beverage for me and told me to have a seat anywhere. They weren't busy during my visit, so I actually moved around the space a bit to check it all out. My food didn't take long, and it came out (very) hot and fresh! I enjoyed the pretzels, and the beer cheese had a nice consistency and flavor. I flipped through some local magazines while I dined, which I really enjoyed, so I appreciated them having those lying around. If I find myself staying within walking distance again I will definitely come back to this spot to check it out during daytime hours. I want to explore the outdoor area a bit more and try some more of their menu. If you're in the area you should check it out! read more

Looked for a dog-friendly breakfast place on google. Picked this place. After a long walk, we were greeted with a sharp we don't allow dogs per the owner. Nobody on patio and a quiet little dog at a picnic table and we were most unwanted. Fine. Outdoor table at Starbucks was great! read more

In a Yelp search, we searched for "Dog Friendly" coffee shops. This place came up and looks wonderful! Before heading out, we decided to call to be sure we could bring our dog because we wanted to walk there from our hotel. It turns out, they do NOT allow dogs (except service animals). For some of you, that will be a plus, and for some, a negative. Therefore, I give it 3 stars. read more

Beautiful ambiance and total crap coffee. We got two house coffees that tasted like they had been sitting out for about three hours. The espresso tasted burned and they don't bother to mixed drinks at all. The interior is really pretty, but not worth coming back for that. read more

Sunday funday was real this past weekend. My pals and I were looking for a low key spot to drink, talk, and play games. Bode was the perfect spot. It is a really hip new hotel in Nashville and the hub is their lounge area. They provide an excellent space for light breakfast, including coffee, and cocktails, beer, and wine. Aesthetic was on point. The space is intimate but open and bright with natural lighting. Think modern cabin vibes? You order from the counter and they bring drinks and snacks to where you were sitting. They had a special yesterday where you got a charcuterie board and a bottle of Prosecco with orange juice for self serve mimosas for $25. Obviously, we went with that. We also tried a couple of their cocktails. The names are escaping me, but they were delicious. One thing to note is the cocktails are pre-batched and there is not a full bar. As we sat, I also observed that they sell artisanal travel goods. This is convenient if you're staying in the hotel, but also if you're just in the mood to buy some kitschy essentials. Stop by Bode Hub, just make sure your camera is ready. read more

This place a hidden gem, only a few blocks from downtown! Staff is super friendly and very helpful. My friends and I grabbed a six pack and played corn hole outside by their fire pits. So many spots for great photos, the vintage truck is adorable. They have everything from cheese and wine to coffee. Gotta check this place out! read more

Only go here for coffee/tea. My drink was good but the food was awful. The breakfast sandwich was the worst I've ever had - super dry, hard as a rock, only 2 tiny pieces of bacon, and the smallest driest egg I've ever seen. Staff was really nice but the owners should really do better. read more

This place is incredible - centrally located and close to all the action in Nashville. I stopped by with some friends in the morning for coffee and it was such a chill place that we ended up coming back for drinks later that evening. We were able to grab some brews and hang outside by the fire which was perfect this time of year. Don't know how we stumbled across this place but I know we will be back! read more

It came topped with warm spiced peaches and powdered sugar with a side of maple syrup. For a bit of saltiness I ordered a side of the Broadbent bacon. So good! For a bev I landed on one of their seasonal specials, the Flannel Latte, made with vanilla honey and cinnamon. My husband got an omelet with a side of toast and also enjoyed it. It was a quick visit but satisfying. I could definitely see myself going here regularly if I was a local!

There was a line when we arrived, but it wasn't so bad. It moved by pretty quickly. While in line, you bypass all the pastries displayed behind the glass and they looked beautiful! Everything looked amazing. I ended up ordering the Twice Baked Croissant and the Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich. The Twice Baked Croissant was just incredible. It had pistachios on top, a pistachio cream inside, and also a cherry or raspberry jam inside too. I love pistachios, and the pistachio cream inside was so light, creamy, delicate, but flavorful. I absolutely loved all the different textures. The croissant was airy and fluffy inside, and the outside had a nice flaky exterior. And the fruit jam inside complemented the pistachio cream very well, it added a nice sweetness that blended well with the cream. For me, it tied the whole thing together. I will definitely be thinking of this pastry when I think of pistachio croissants. And for the Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich? Wow. I didn't know what to expect, but it was much larger than I anticipated. It was tall, like when I was bringing it to the table the top part of the bun almost fell off my plate because it had height. The fried chicken piece was great: juicy and had a nice golden color. It was crispy and also quite large for a chicken piece.. All the components about it were executed well: the fried chicken, the coleslaw! (i'm a coleslaw fanatic), and the sauce inside the sandwich was wonderful. Also last but not least, the fried egg too? Wow. I love a good runny egg. I'm not exaggerating, I was drenching the pieces of my sandwich in the sauce on my plate. It was just that good. Genuinely, I couldn't believe I finished that sandwich because it was very filling and that fried chicken piece was huge! Service was fast and friendly, I liked interacting with them. It is pretty small inside and we came on a weekend so it was busy and packed. We were lucky to snag a small table but it was difficult to find seating when we got our food. All in all, I'm so happy we came here. Yes it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The quality is clearly there and showed up through everything we got. I had such a memorable time, thank you for taking care of us!

Cafe intermezzo falls into our lap. Unbelievable find. An oasis in the desert. Door opens a happy lady comes out with her friends and sees us looking at menu, she says "Go here. You will love it". They also offer a huge variety of cakes and cheeses that seem homemade; they aren't too sweet and are absolutely delicious. One thing I have to complain was the coffees we ordered were just warm rather than hot. A wonderful spot with beautiful music and comfortable relaxing atmosphere to chill.
