The food was delicious! I ordered the teriyaki salmon, red beans, mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the teriyaki glaze on it was tasty. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade and had bits of the peel in it, which came with some very creamy white gravy. The red beans were well cooked and had some a little bit of beef in it. The mushrooms were very good and had the right sauté to it. They also gave me some rolls, which tasted like they were handmade. Also, my favorite item that I ordered was the chocolate pudding cake for dessert. The cake had plenty of icing on it and the cake was very moist. On top of everything else, the staff was very friendly, and my food was fixed very quickly. The next time I'm in Ardmore, I will definitely be coming to Two Frogs! read more

Wonderful place to stop in and grab a bite to eat. Driving through from Texas to OKC and wanted a place to sit and eat at. Not from the area, I *think* this place is known for live music, its Cajun style, and seafood. While we didn't visit on a live-music night, I was thrilled they took a reservation (Friday at 630p) because the place was still hoppin'! And no wonder why - the Frog Legs were on point! I had the Small Filet Mignon with a side house salad and green beans - my steak was cooked great, but beware all you fellow sissies of spice...the green beans had a Cajun kick to them I was not expecting and couldn't overcome! The waiter was more than willing to replace them with another side, but I had so much other food it wasn't necessary (and my husband ate the green beans). However, ever an advocate of picking your dessert first, I think the tides should change to 2 Frogs being know for their Peanut Butter Satin Pie - THAT is where it's at! It was so perfectly balanced in flavor, richness, and smoothness - not too heavy and every bite delicious - that it was gone before I realized I hadn't snapped a picture! It's a MUST! Parking was ample - front and back - even with their crowd on a non-concert night. We'll go back if we're ever in Ardmore, OK again. read more

First time eating here. I want to preface this by saying the service was excellent. The food was unfortunately lacking for us. We got the "onion thang" to start with and it still had a little bit of raw batter at the bottom, but was otherwise tasty. House salads were as good s expected. We both got the Catfish Leon and were disappointed. Overly salty catfish; i was able to scrape most of it off the fish to eat a filet but my husband couldnt handle it. We are not the type of people to complain or send food back, we were prepared to just enjoy the baked potatoes and red beans (red beans were more like ranch style beans, not red beans and rice type beans). Our waiter asked how things were and my husband mentioned the fish was way too salty. He apologized profusely, even though it wasnt his fault, and insisted the kitchen make us new filets a different way. We told him he didnt need to do that but he was very polite and said he wanted to. The grilled filets were delicious and the manager (owner?), John, personally came to make sure it was good and apologized. Proximity provides opportunity. Very good first experience here. Placed a call and spoke to a very friendly and helpful April. She strongly suggested their "world famous ribs" ... I bought in. What a terrific suggestion. One of the best ribs I've ever had. Meaty, moist and tasty. They say in the description that the meat falls off the bone, and yes it does. The side of barbecue sauce was a nice but not over the top addition. Excellent choice if you can't decide what to eat. I added catfish to the meal trying it for the first time. It was heavily breaded and one of the two pieces had quite a few bones in it. The other piece had none. I can't comment on my first experience of this but to say I wasn't overwhelmed or underwhelmed. Kudos to the sides. The green beans were very good. The rice was solid. They provide you two dinner rolls of which I ate neither. The side salad was decent. The veggies were fresh (which is important). The topping of crumbly blue balsamic dressing was a nice, light inclusion. I finished off the dinner with another suggestion from April - the Apple dumplings. They were good. Lastly the sweet tea... Sweet! read more

Our first visit here. We're on our way home from Texas and remembered that they were featured on Discover Oklahoma the other day. Our lunch was excellent. I had blackened catfish, and he had Catfish Leon which has a crawfish sauce on top. I also had the hand cut French fries. Our waitress was wonderful. Super sweet and helpful with the menu. We stopped here on our road trip from TX to SD and it was great!! First off, Summer was our server and she was amazing! I travel for a living, been all over the world and since Covid good service is hard to come by. Summer was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, just five star! The atmosphere was fun, think 70's lounge style. The food portions were huge, you get a lot of bang for your buck because it's very reasonably priced! We started with fried crawfish tails, and then we shared the seafood platter with fried frogs legs, catfish and shrimp and the Cajun chicken and sausage Alfredo. My husband and I stopped in while driving through town. We were led through at least two dining rooms with people in them but not nearly full. We were sat basically in the bar area, in a smallish dark room occupied only by us. There were thick black curtains tied back so the door was open. We kind of laughed about, "Fine, put the gay dudes in the back where they aren't seen". Ha ha. We had lunch, sandwich and a burger that really weren't memorable, but not bad. The waiter was nice and attentive. We were paying and leaving when a lovely African American woman was escorting into the room, behind her was her white companion. She was the only African American person in the restaurant. The must seat all the non traditional couples in the bar so they aren't seen is all I can think. read more

I had a very nice late lunch on our way to WinStar Casino (more on that later). The food was plentiful and the flavor was perfect. I had not had a good chicken fried steak in a very long time. When traveling on I-35, Two Frogs is a must stop for me in Ardmore. Fun ambiance/vibe, great service and delicious food. The portions are more than enough. I ALWAYS get the delicious cheese fries which could feed an entire army. Fancying myself a connoisseur of cheese fries, I can say these are some of the best - and the ranch they serve with is is the best kind. Pretty busy on a Friday night but we didn't have to wait so we were happy. The restaurant was so full and crowded, and loud! Our waitress was some what attentive but not exactly helpful. We started with fried pickles and they were pretty good! Ranch was very tasty. Our salads came out pretty quickly and they were lacking a bit but not bad. Tasty crouton on top. My sister and I split the Cajun pasta and it was very tasty. A bit of a kick but not too spicy, great flavor. Very shareable. My dad got the seafood platter and it was so much food! Avoid the slaw - it's more like a ground up cabbage mush than a slaw - really unpleasant IMO. And the salad is iceberg lettuce and 2 small tomatoes only. Underwhelming. Pretty good baked potato - cooked well but skimped on the toppings. Excellent ribs though - truly delectable and moist. Outstanding hand-cut French fries served crisp and perfectly seasoned. For a small town, Two Frogs has been a favorite of ours for years. Food is consistently good no matter what time or the day of the week. You are always greeted with a smile, and served with excellence. Two Frogs will not tell you the spices they use on their burgers, but they are the best! We travel 1.5 hours to eat here...their food and service is that good. You should try their Chicken Toes salad. I have yet to try..... Two Frogs also has entertainment and a gateway to bands in Ardmore. In fact, Keven Costner and his band will be in Ardmore OK in Aug. We had amazing service coming here after thanksgiving. We went to the trail of lights and saw the display sponsored by the restaurant so their advertising worked lol. Lots of tvs around for watching games. I would say that they're kid friendly. The Rib and shrimp plate was really good, the ribs were tender and the sauce had a good flavor. The kids plates were ginormous for the price and we had enough for the ride home the next day to keep everyone from getting too hangry on the road. The cocktails were very strong. The only disappointment I had was the voodoo sauce. It was very salty to the point of being inedible for me. I've got high blood pressure, I could feel my fingers swelling up after a bite. All the ingredients to the sauce sounded amazing though! But literally too rich for my blood. Either way, this is a great spot to check out while in Ardmore. read more

Traveling to Ardmore and we decided to go with classic, easy American fare close to the hotel. We were greeted and sat immediately at 8 on a Friday night. Our server was really nice and our food came out fast! The ambiance is cute too: dim, candles and rock n roll themed (guitars on the wall, rock star and musician framed pics). I ordered the Cajun snapper with "voodoo" sauce and crawfish tails. The portion was huge and it came with a nice salad and a side. The fish was tender and the sauce was good but I could not place the flavors, but I understand keeping it safe, spice wise. The only thing I did not like were the canned green beans...no thanks. Husband ordered a large ribeye. It was tender and the server even asked him to check the meat to make sure it was cooked to his liking. That was a good move, makes sure customer is happy. Only comment is the steak could be trimmed better, had alot of sinew but otherwise it was passable. I know it's not fine dining.
