We were driv8ng through this area on March 28th and looking for pizza. A quick Yelp search brought up Ten Star in downtown Ardmore. Ten Star was located in a very cute downtown area. They have lovingly kept this area nice and I wanted to stay longer and explore. We were greeted warmly as we stepped inside and we were able to choose our own table. The waitress was prompt with menus and took our drink order. We took our time to peruse the menu as the many many choices all sounded so good. On the recommendation of our waitress, we both chose the lasagna and side salad. We were not disappointed and we both really enjoyed our meal. The side salads were a perfect size and were made with mixed greens and a few veggies. The dressing on the side was great as not to drench the lettuce before eating. The lasagna needs to be talked about to everyone. It was the perfect serving size so we didn't over indulge. It was piping hot and held together, not falling over or sauce running over the plate. The flavors melded together nicely and was soothing to the palate. The number one thing was that it stay pleasantly hot right through the last bite, it never got cool/cold. We got the GOAT pizza and it was quite tasty. I was skeptical of the big chunks of fig at first but they were just right. We got a large for two people and it was just enough. The pizzas run on the smaller side. Still plenty of food just be aware that a large isn't going to feed a household. read more

We love this place. We were camping at Lake Murray and our camp host recommended the 10 star we had salads and pizza. Everything was wonderful. I would recommend it anytime you're in the area. read more

We were on our way out of town, 30 minutes away. We call to order a to go pizza. While in the beginning of our order we hear the woman on the phone speaking to a customer in front of her that they cannot find their pizza order, she then asked what the customer ordered. The employee then returns to speaking with us. She takes our order, tells us it would be 30 minutes before our pizza is ready. We thank her & hang up. Upon arrival, the workers in the restaurant don't have our order either. They claim they've had issues with their computers all night. Hmmm... then wouldn't you upon taking the phone orders, go back and check to make sure the kitchen received the orders? Especially if it just lost an order to a previous customer just 30 minutes before. It's not a large place, it wouldn't take much to double check the order was received. They did offer to have us wait 20-30 minutes to make another pizza, we declined because we were just driving out of town. It defeats the purpose of calling in a pizza. Disappointed in the employees not taking the time to ensure their customers orders were in with kitchen. I'm sure we will be back, just not likely for us to get take out from here anytime soon. read more

We used to eat Pizza here all the time but the Pizza is just way too inconsistent. Sometimes it's over cooked, undercooked, comes with the wrong toppings, or no cheese for some reason, it's just wrong way too often. We also love the spinach salad with balsamic dressing here & love the wine list. We still come sometimes for the spinach salad & drinks we just gave up on the pizzas. I have literally been through Ardmore over 100 times and had never strayed more than a couple blocks from I-35.... Ten Star is worth the extra mile or two drive. I ordered a medium cheese pizza with roasted garlic and I was blown away. Don't take this as a negative but the crust reminded me a better version of a Pizza Hut thin crust pizza. The restaurant is clean and had several table of folks eating in as well as three of us for take-away. I was in a hurry so didn't take it all in but the service was very good. I've only got 5 Stars to give, but this salad and pizza gets them all! I live in a house of men that will eat pizza for every meal, if allowed. Needless to say, I know pizza. That said, I'm a veggie so I cannot comment on the meats. Crust: fantastic! A hand-tossed variety on the thin side- those little pockets of air are priceless and the crispiness, with more body and flavor than the typical "saltine-like" thin crusts, is perfect. Toppings: creative without getting weird. The balsamic reduction drizzle over my GOAT made it the G.O.A.T. Proof positive you don't need lots of tomatoes and mozzarella to make an awesome pie. Service was so attentive I had to wonder if the young man might have been related to the owner- we never wanted for a thing. Decor was eclectic- I loved the velvet drapes on the back wall- classy! I recommend larger than a personal size for anyone with a big appetite- with the salad it was perfect for a little lady at lunch. Prices- not cheap but this isn't cheap food or cheap service- count your lucky stars all the way to 10 that you have this option in Ardmore! read more

We stumbled across this place over the summer on our way home from Dallas and it was so delicious, the pizza was great and my god the cheesecake was absolutely divine, I had the lemon cheesecake and my husband had the peanut butter cup and both were equally delicious, fast forward a few months and another trip to Dallas, this time we tried a different pizza and it was some of the best pizza I've ever eaten, can't remember the name but it was a mushroom and garlic pizza, sadly this time we were too full for the cheesecake but we were still incredibly happy with our meal, i honestly can't recommend this place more read more

We recently visited Lake Murray State Park and drove in to explore Ardmore. They have a vibrant downtown (The Depot District) with lots a interesting shops, restaurants, etc. Who knew?? We had dinner at Ten Star. Nice, casual dining. We had a pizza (The Bob + green pepper) and it was excellent. Great crust...thin, delicate and tasty. Finished with a piece of their homemade coconut cream pie with fresh whipped cream. AMAZING!! Our server was Ben - the manager. (Looks like they were a little short on servers.) Stopped by for late lunch driving through Oklahoma. Enjoyed there G O A T pizza crispy thin crust like nothing I have tried before feta dried figs onions and a drizzle of balsamic. What a find! Without question, the best pizza I have had in YEARS. A simple little restaraunt tucked at the end of town, just before the roundabout before the tracks. What a jewel... perfect delicate crust, a delicious and simple behind the scenes marinara, generous toppings in an explosion of flavor. Get the Jimmy. Medium is more than enough for 2 hungry people.
