I explicitly requested medium-well, and if the kitchen lacks the expertise to cook steak correctly, it should reconsider offering it on the menu. I only picked one start because there wasn't an option for 0. Let me start by I don't like to leave a rant, I understand some places may have bad days etc. One encounter shouldn't reflect the establishment as a whole. And these are to-go orders so in no way reflect on service from servers, no shade, I worked food service for near 10years of my life. HOWEVER, this Applebees consistently disappoints. I've now ordered to-go 6 times. So this is not from lack of trying to believe things were going to get better. Every time is a fail. Mostly it's wrong cook temp and not off my just a little, I mean I ordered WELL-DONE TWICE on two different occasions and both times they were bloody. All the entrees look like they weee scraped across the kitchen floor first. And other occurrences but I won't drag this any further out than completely necessary. This particular time is what did it though. They don't have to worry about my money coming for sure, I'd rather eat a hot can of cat food. I ordered dinner for my father and I tonight, he got 1/2 rack of ribs w/Cole slaw. 1- I don't know what kind of pigs there ribs come from but if that was a true 1/2 rack it had to of been a new born, it was roughly 3 ribs the size of a ring finger 2- Nearly had to do the Heimlich maneuver on my dad because they were so dry I thought he wasn't getting an air as much he was coughing 3- The one side that came with ribs (coleslaw) came in a small Togo ramekin (the size of one you would get a Jell-O shot out of, or ranch) not a regular side dish size, that was. So for $23 dollars be prepared to do the Heimlich maneuver, and wash it all down with a single shot of dry coleslaw. I ordered a dinner entree size Cesar salad, it was $17 and the size of a dinner salad (and that's being giving). 1- Salad was kid sized 2- croutons stale/soft We did get an order of boneless wing as well and they might as well had been a bone with sauce on them. They definitely hand been under a heat lamp for at least an hour and hard as a rock. I don't know if they just send the scrap food out for delivery so they don't have to deal with customer there. It might be a great place to go in a dine, I don't know. But ordering out is not an option, unless you're into self mutilation or constant dissatisfaction. Awful. Ordered Mac n cheese with chicken tenders. Pasta was watery and tasteless. 3 tenders for $19.19 was absolutely ridiculous. Husband had oriental chicken salad which was average. I paid for extra dressing but didn't get it. Only 69 cents but it's the principal. Happens EVERY time. And $16.19 for a very ordinary, dry salad is absurd. Done with you Applebees. Done. If I could leave a negative star review I would. My party of 4 was seated right away but it took 25 minutes to get drinks. Simple soft drinks and water. I had to ask for straws 5 minutes after drinks were served. Finally 40 minutes after arriving so does the food for three of us and these piss poor nachos come out minus some of the toppings. Texas visitors check eating places on Yelp, we didn't believe it could be as bad as the reviews and we were right. Good as Applebees quality as in Texas. We are here on a Friday night 7:30, plenty of guests- so they must not read reviews. Our waitress was Sommer not Pentecostal or Amish but she is clean like them. I ordered delivery. The bourbon Swiss burger was fire. The app was seamless, the food was fast, I think it took 15 minutes to get delivered. I gave this store only three stars! The door was good, and of a great value. The problem was below average service of this Applebee's when compared to others that I have visited ! From the greater to the waitress, people the served the food to us was the low energy, and failures to check on us in a timely manor. We ask for some additional plates and never received them. Only after our meal was completed did the manager come by for a visit. I should have went in to great detail then with him, but I failed to inform him! The whole staff could have used some welcome, pleased to see you! I wish they would have clear the table before presenting the bill, slowing room to sign and fill in the tip amount! I was reading and Applebees's was listed as one of the franchises most likely to fail in the coming future. Therefore, I decided to visit them as to try and help in my small way to keep them going in these harsh times. The Staff was excellent and the Manager is not very well trained in one specific area. I am a 100% Marine Corp. Disabled Veteran and they failed to honor my tax free card for all state sales tax. The only exclusion in the State of Oklahoma is Fireworks, Cigarettes, and Gasoline for DAV Tax Exempt card holders. I am sending in a formal complaint to the Oklahoma Tax Commission as I believe a fine "or whatever they decided to do" might give the Owners proper motivation to train their Managers appropriately.
