The entire experience was terrible. We waited so long just to order, and then she got 2 out of 4 orders wrong. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this place. It was loud, dirty, unorganized, and the food was cold straight out of the kitchen, had no taste, and overall was not worth the price. Not a single one of us finished our meals, we got a one refill on our drinks, and the waitress walked away so fast we could hardly ask for anything or tell her the orders were wrong. The chicken busicot was small and had an awkward shape, resembling a chicken tenderloin. The bucket filled with ice that was brought out for the mimosa was leaking. Food was overall okay. We recently moved to Holliday and this afternoon we were trying to think of a place to have lunch. My husband had been to Backporch before and said the food was pretty good so we went there today. We got seated right away at a corner table that you'd better be on the thinner side to sit in or you wouldn't fit. The table hadn't been wiped after the last party so there was that to deal with. They were out of cream cheese but couldn't relate that or give us an option for cheese or to change our order? Next, the wait staff is too busy running their fingers through their hair and prancing around to handle their tables. Put the hair up or back, just nasty. NOT A REAL SPORTS BAR - They call themselves a sports bar but don't even have Sunday Ticket, so you're out of luck unless you want to watch the local game. Not only that, they kept promising they DID have all the games before I ordered food, and then proceeded to spend half an hour messing around with the TVs just to ultimately fail anyway. It was obvious that nobody there had any idea how their TVs worked or what programming they had available. I've been to a LOT of places like this, and I have never once come across someplace that claims to be a sports bar but doesn't have the basic TV programming necessary to justify the title. THE place to go for a brews and bites in WF. This place is always busy and there's good reason why. The food is wonderful. The burgers are good, but their sandwiches are tip top. Try the Smoked Jalapeño Patty Melt or the Okie Reuben for the win. The house chips are good, but too salty, so stick with fries. Ordered load fries, they came pretty much limp and drenched queso that was bland topped with microwaveable bacon. Then we waited over 30 minutes for our entrees. Mind you the restaurant was not busy. They had maybe 8 ppl by the bar and 3 tables in the dinning area. At that capacity it shouldn't take longer than 15-20 minutes max for entrees to come out. Server was very polite and accommodating. The service was very friendly and timely, the place looks like it could be a night for sports and beers/bar atmosphere but the other side looks very family friendly as well. The food was good. My daughter liked her Mac and cheese bites, the fries were just okay nothing crazy. I had the big daddy double Patty bacon cheeseburger, it was phenomenal. I would come back for that burger. I tried my husbands steak fries, they were okay, good taste but the quality wasn't as good it tasted fast-food/deep fried oil taste. The only thing I took a star off for is there was a cracked glass frame that was at head level in our corner booth which is a safety hazard especially with my little one next to me. read more

Kariyanna was our waitress and did a great job on everything! She was prompt, attentive, patient and super friendly! It's hard to find a waitress like this her anymore. My other half ordered a beer (they have a good selection) and I ordered a red 19 Crimes. We both got a water, in a nice size cup that you can keep! I ordered the BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato) with a fried egg cooked over medium and with a side of fries. I even got some of their jalapeño gravy on the side. My other half ordered the Drive-In Steak Fingers. My food was great! I would have liked my sandwich cut when I got it, but only because it's a big sandwich! The fries were good, not great, but dipping them in the jalapeño gravy made them better! The gravy is delicious! My egg was also cooked perfectly! The steak finger basket was another story. The steak fingers were tough and maybe a little overcooked, but the flavor was great. But my other half was able to eat what he could. The District Manager, Carly, came by and asked how everything was. We have this feedback and she offered to make it right. She offered to replace it, but my other half didn't think it would change much because of the meat itself. Carly told us they get their meat from Cattleman's Ranch in Oklahoma and that they try to local source their food products. I thought that was awesome! She then offered dessert, but there was no way I could eat it! She went out of her way to make it right! Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place and would eat here again! My favorite meal here is a cheeseburger and fries. It is just the best. The only thing I do not like is the the employees' outfits. I wish they would not dress in spandex. I do not go to Hooter's or Twin Peaks because I do not need to see skimpily dressed ladies. And I just keep thinking: Who would want their daughter to dress like that in public? Not everyone dresses poorly at Backporch, but there are a few. I just would enjoy my meal more if I didn't have to look at some of that. read more

We stopped at this restaurant on our way home and whew it was a good find! They had the patio open complete with good music and string lights and it was the perfect spot with some sun for me and shade for my partner so we didn't have to compromise! Our server was so sweet and attentive and took care of everything. My partner tried the brisket grilled cheese and garlic mashed potatoes (dang!!!) and I tried the fried chicken biscuit on the brunch menu with a side of the delectable sweet potato fries. We didn't forget about drinks, we tried some frozen redbull vodkas and the strawberry bubbly drink. Definitely coming back when we drive through Witchita Falls next time! read more

Came here with some friends after a work event, and didn't expect much for a Tuesday afternoon. My expectations may have been low, but the service and food were some of the best I've had! I had the fried pickles to start and a buffalo chicken salad for my meal. The fried pickles were crispy, the salad was more delicious than a salad should be, and the sweet tea brought back memories of a simpler time (can't get sweet tea like that in VA). The waitress was one of the best I've seen during my time in Texas (so sorry I couldn't remember her name). Personally, the atmosphere probably would be better sitting in the bar area but I can't speak to that as we sat in the dining room. The service was attentive and the recommendations provided by the waitress were spot on. As far as food goes, the burger didn't look like anything special but it tasted great with the toppings. Everything on the burger from the chips to the sauce meshed very well to create a great combination. I wish the beef patty would have been thicker, but that's personal preference. My friend also enjoyed her burger. We would recommend this place to others, and I would love to comeback to try other things, but I live in Colorado. read more
