Really very good ribs! We were stopped for the evening and saw Two Frogs advertised as a recommended place to eat. Walking in, we found it had a Hard Rock, pub(ish) Texas Ice House vibe which was great fun. We had the fried zucchini sticks which were awesome, not your typical onion rings. A great restaurant with some history of great musicians passing through. Awesome service and great food. The wife had the sirloin and shrimp which she said was awsome. I had the ribs and shrimp which the ribs were fall off the bone tender but the fried shrimp was a little too crunchy and hard with the breading but if you peeled the breading off, the shrimp was good. We were even able to buy tickets for the show in december of Billy Gibbons and Jimmy Vaughn and a few other musical guest. read more

Two Frogs Grill was acceptable today. The ambiance and service were great. My food was okay, but certainly not what I expected, or wanted. It wasn't their fault, however, because my expectations were different than what was delivered. My nephew had chicken fried steak, and it was excellent, and left me wishing I had ordered that. My brother had a cheeseburger, my other brother had sirloin beef tips, both of which were acceptable, but not great. The cotton candy for my birthday was extraordinary, but I thought it was only for kids, and it was obviously, by definition, extremely sweet. read more

Decent road trip stop. Nothing was bad. The honey mustard dressing was actually made out of honey. It didn't seem like anything was store-bought. Sweet Potatoes (5/5) - excellent Fried Zucchini (5/5) - very good Apple Dumpling (4/5) - the sauce should have had apple in it too, but it was very nice Catfish Leon (4/5) - The regular blackened catfish probably would have been just as good. Green Beans (3.5/5) Bread (3.5/5) Salad (3/5) The okra and the red beans were fine. Cons: Pretty expensive for two people. I also saw a couple of dying cockroaches - one was near the bathroom, the other was in the middle toilet stall. Except for the roaches, everything looked fairly clean. read more

Food was fantastic, the service was wonderful! Ariana treated us like family welcoming us as we were seated and recommended appetizers and drinks. We ordered the trio of fried mushrooms, fried zucchini and cheese sticks. Generous portions and it was delicious! For entrees we ordered the grilled catfish, chicken fried steak and the fried frog legs. Entrees and sides were house made and perfect. Love the salads and fresh rolls. Very cool vibe inside, they also do live music! Waitress was super kind and helpful while deciding what to order. Food came out in a good amount of time. Very fresh. What a treasure! This place is fantastic! Our server was super nice and made great recommendations. My wife and I split a seafood platter with a superbly prepared blackened catfish, succulent shrimp (subpar (greasy) Okra) and very good beans. Started with perfectly deep fried mushrooms and finished with an absolutely delicious bread pudding! We will absolutely be coming back just about every time we pass through Ardmore! read more

One of my best dining experiences in memory. Food, great. Service, great. But that's not what prompted this review. I left my credit card *somewhere* in the booth I dined in. Discovered the (big) problem at Love Field on the way back to Tampa. Called the restaurant, preliminary search in lost-and-found turned up nothing. Then the day manager got involved. Went back and checked the VIDEO to trace my missing card. Which led them to TAKE APART the booth to find it! They're sending to me... Un. Believable. Holy PORTIONS. Get ready to eat when you come here. The portions are well worth the money and the large dinner dishes are enough for 2 meals. Get a to go container. There are nights with live music which is a cool feature and the inside is decorated with old music memorabilia. Very eclectic and laid back. Y'all. My wife and bestie met family for lunch earlier today in Ardmore. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does Two Frogs have an surprising amount of music memorabilia, but they have some pretty darn good food. Summer waited on us and did a great job. She was friendly, professional, and very attentive to our table. Summer was especially careful to consider my allergies and happily answered all our questions. We started our meal off with fried zucchini and fried mushrooms. They were surprisingly good. They were well fried and seasoned. I ordered the "chicken fried like a chicken", green beans, and some scrumptious baby carrots. My wife really enjoyed her chicken fried steak and my bestie and in-laws enjoyed their chopped sirloin. Two Frogs is also generous with their portion sizes--easily leaving us plenty of leftovers. Most of us finished our meal with Two Frogs' butterscotch pecan pie, but my sister-in-law (who's allergic to pecans) ate the apple dumpling which she really enjoyed. read more

I was really surprised by the vibes inside - more like if Hard Rock Cafe mixed with a dive-bar. Ordered the "fall off the bone" half rack of ribs. They did not fall off the bone. Anyone that knows anything about smoking ribs knows you have to remove the membrane from the back side of the ribs. It was not removed, therefore, they would not fall off the bone. Portions were healthy sized. Atmosphere was "meh," nothing special, definitely a tourist trap. If you want ribs, there is a Chili's neat the highway, theirs are better. read more

We have driven by this place numerous times but this was our first visit while passing through Ardmore looking for something a little different outside of your chain restaurants. Two Frogs delivered an excellence ambiance combining the lighting of a nice speak easy with a New Orleans jazz club. Would definitely visit again. Not a super star. The chicken sandwich was the least they could do and still say it was a sandwich with fries. The fries need to be ordered separate, which is silly. The Swiss cheese always not melted so much as wilted on the sandwich. I wasn't offered any condiments to put on the sandwich. The upside? It was chicken meat, not some awful breaded chopped nightmare of a protein. The chicken was moist and perhaps greasy. I ordered the apple tart thing and that was not awful although it needed more cinnamon and perhaps a drizzle of caramel. It was swimming in a "vanilla" sauce that wasn't great but it also wasn't awful. I'd traveled all day and was very hungry. I wasn't hungry when I left but I see no reason to ever go back. read more

Other then the manager that was polite and remade my food cause it was cool and awful. The server didn't check we was without drinks for a while until our food came out. Plus I feel like she seen me trying to waver her over once but they was all up at the front chitchating so I had to go up there and ask. Food was not the best and the price was too night for the quality of food. The managers concoction was better then whatever came out first. Frog legs not worth it super small and lacked seasoning. My waiter was very attentive and friendly and even made suggestions from the menu. I felt like the restaurant had a nice comfortable feel and was a bit upscale. I enjoyed the ribeye steak. Just had an awesome lunch at 2 Frogs Grill in Ardmore, OK We both ordered the Pork Chop Special with some hesitation.... Only because they are not always cooked correctly and can be very dry. Between us we each had the pork chop, baked potato, mashed potatoes/gravy and fried okra. The pork chop was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. There was zero dryness and they were not overly seasoned. The baked potato was generous and had all the "fixings", the mashed potatoes and cream gravy were excellent. My boyfriend had the okra and he said it was very good, not too much breading and not greasy. We have been here before and had the chicken fried steak which again was cooked to perfection and Chicken Alfredo was delicious as well. We will be back and work our way through the large menu! This is an interesting place that combines old-school dark supper club vibe with classic rock, decent food and good service. We went mid-afternoon on a Saturday and shared a rib and catfish combo plate, with sides of fried okra and fries. The ribs were tender as promised but the seasoning was not to my taste. Sauce was good, though. The fried catfish was pretty good, too. Their house salad dressing is a blue cheese vinegarette, which was interesting. For dessert, we tried the apple dumpling, which comes in a good vanilla creme sauce. There's a stage up front and the waitress said they occasionally have bands. I had been wanting to stop in here for years since reading a local article recommending their food. I wish we hadn't. I'm sure there are better things on their menu, but what we had this afternoon was dated, too simple, and especially bland. That's hard to do with "Cajun" food. Their "Cajun" chicken sandwich was barely blackened, with choice of mayo or mustard, topped with iceberg salad lettuce from a bag, along with other veggies. All I could taste was the plain yellow mustard. The "Big" cheeseburger wasn't any better. Asked for it medium-well, it came as a charcoal flavored hockey puck..Dry, no juices, barely any cheese, and again with the bagged salad lettuce. Fries were the floppy fresh cut kind, half of them soggy. I asked our server if they had any remoulade sauce or something to add flavor where there was none. She said no, barely even stopped to listen. The place itself is surprisingly dark and dingy inside, and ugly even for a dive. It was all a real letdown. read more

We been spending a lot of time in Florida so we haven't been visiting as much as we should have lately but my goodness y'all are like a well oiled machine hitting on all 8 cylinders. The food, service & Ambiance here is perfection constantly. The addition of the grilled salmon to the menu that you can have "blackened" and add "VOO DOO crawfish sauce" to it is just amazballs!! I have already had it three times this week ha! It's my birthday week so I can eat at the same place if I want to lol We have ordered the Filet Orleans before, but hubby got it again last night with the hand cut fries & double salad and WOZA!! He ended up splitting it with me bc it was sublime. Cooked perfectly The hand cut fries are fabulous :)... The side of rice is buttery goodness & the green beans ohmygosh I could eat a bucket of them they are so delicious! GET THE RICE & GREEN BEANS! This restaurant is down the street from the hotel that we were staying at. It was closing in 40 mins so we thought to give it a try. The staff was super friendly and seated us right away. The area we sat at was very chill and secluded area by the bar. We ordered the chicken Alfredo and ribeye with mashed potatoes and gravy. Our meals came with salad and dinner rolls fresh from the oven. Our food was so good and tasty. The waitress stated that everything is prepared fresh and from scratched. The staff is always nice, the food is always good and the place has such cool music themed decor. On this trip, had the Cajun grilled chicken, red beans and some of their French fries. This is our favorite restaurant when we go to or threw Ardmore we try to stop, the food is always on point and the wait staff unbeatable. Owners Aubrey Harris and wife Angela always make you feel like part of the Family. I would recommend this place and have to anyone I know headed that way.
