    Shrimp and crab boil.

The food was amazing. So much to choose from and the oysters were amazing. The staff were super friendly and provided great service. Prices are very reasonable too.

Snapper Shack is a true gem in our little town. Staff is so friendly and service is fast. The restaurant is usually very clean and comfortable. The food is delicious, not what you would expect from a small town restaurant. My favorite meal is the salmon caesar salad. My husband likes their ribeye and shrimp boil. We loved the shrimp tacos and coconut shrimp. The owners are lovely people! There's a previous review about poor service, we eat here weekly and have never had a poor experience. He also mentioned the fries being bad, they're handcut and delicious.

Lot of positives about this place such as: it is very clean, staff was friendly and it was decorated well. The Red Snapper was cooked perfectly with great grill marks. The vegetables were really good and spiced well. The rice was also very good. On the other hand, the shrimp skewer lacked a lot. The shrimp was way over cooked and hard to eat. Also, the skewer had a grilled lemon, don't know why but it had a very bitter taste. Couldn't tell it was a lemon until you taste it. It did just open and we will go back and try other items.

The oysters were so good, we horked half of them down before we took the photo!

Hands down the best fried catfish we have ever had and a fun atmosphere. We live an hour away and will definitely be back.

My wife and I ate here this past Saturday. Started with calamari, can be a bit of a gamble in OK,…read morebut the calamari was cooked perfectly. The marinara was just ok. Weirdly, they piled kale on the plate first and then put the calamari on that. Seems like a 90's plating style to make it look like there was an even larger amount of calamari on the plate. The calamari portion was just right, so skip the extra kale as all it does is get tossed in the trash. Entrees were kabobs and grilled shrimp, my wife thoroughly enjoyed her shrimp and I too enjoyed the kabobs, well seasoned and the portion sizes were perfect. Since the ownership has changed, the food is definitely better than the last 2-3 years, which is great news. Final comment, even on our entree's, the plating again included a pile of kale and a weird twisted slice of orange. Skip the kale or anything not intended for the diner to eat as it detracts from the presentation. Will we go back? Most likely.

The decor inside is pretty nice. It's a little loud but we expected that on a Saturday night. The server was nice but the kitchen didn't help her out much. We got our appetizer salads at the same time as our entree. My wife ordered medium rare steak and got medium. Not so great for how much they charge in Durant. These prices are more in line with the DFW area. I will say the taste of her steak somewhat redeemed it though. My pork chop was good and so was the loaded baked potato. I also ordered the strawberry jubilee cake and it was dry. Also, didn't taste fresh. Almost tasted store bought. Not too good for the price they charged. They are charging higher end steakhouse prices but only delivering lower to barely mid range quality.

We shared the 16 ounce ribeye which was cooked and seasoned to perfection! Our baked potato was prepared and split for us and we enjoyed a 1/2 wedge salad with ranch dressing. Oh, and the bread went beautifully with the house butter. So creamy! The only negative was the music was a little too loud and the service was good, I just can't say outstanding. I would recommend the restaurant for a special occasion as it is a little pricey, but after all you are in a casino so that being considered it was reasonable for a steakhouse.

For appetizers, had the lobster bisque and crab cakes. Both were amazing. For entrees, we got the redfish and salmon, amazing. For sides we got mushrooms and a loaded baked potato. We went back and forth about getting a side of creamed spinach and decided not to get it. Luke informed us that it was his favorite side and he brought one out for us anyway as a surprise, such a class act! The sides were pretty large for 2 ppl. We barely were even able to eat half. For dessert, we had the key lime tart, so good. Literally no complaints from start to finish. The ambiance, service and food were worth every bit of 5 stars! One of the best experiences we've ever had.
