My wife and I ate here this past Saturday. Started with calamari, can be a bit of a gamble in OK, but the calamari was cooked perfectly. The marinara was just ok. Weirdly, they piled kale on the plate first and then put the calamari on that. Seems like a 90's plating style to make it look like there was an even larger amount of calamari on the plate. The calamari portion was just right, so skip the extra kale as all it does is get tossed in the trash. Entrees were kabobs and grilled shrimp, my wife thoroughly enjoyed her shrimp and I too enjoyed the kabobs, well seasoned and the portion sizes were perfect. Since the ownership has changed, the food is definitely better than the last 2-3 years, which is great news. Final comment, even on our entree's, the plating again included a pile of kale and a weird twisted slice of orange. Skip the kale or anything not intended for the diner to eat as it detracts from the presentation. Will we go back? Most likely. read more

Had some difficulty verify this restaurant because the phone number and website on Yelp doesn't work. It appears it's under new ownership and found a good phone number on Google. The decor inside is pretty nice. It's a little loud but we expected that on a Saturday night. The server was nice but the kitchen didn't help her out much. We got our appetizer salads at the same time as our entree. My wife ordered medium rare steak and got medium. Not so great for how much they charge in Durant. These prices are more in line with the DFW area. I will say the taste of her steak somewhat redeemed it though. My pork chop was good and so was the loaded baked potato. I also ordered the strawberry jubilee cake and it was dry. Also, didn't taste fresh. Almost tasted store bought. Not too good for the price they charged. They are charging higher end steakhouse prices but only delivering lower to barely mid range quality. read more

My wife and I really had high hopes for this place, unfortunately roadhouse fell quite short. The waitress was less than impressive and a little bit rude. I can't decide what I disliked most. The lack of interest in her customers or the "umm humm" response she gave after thanking her. The food was ok. It took almost 45 minutes to receive a burger and pork chop after ordering. The pork chop was actually good. The chips and queso tasted like stadium nachos at best. After 20 + minutes waiting for nachos, we let the waitress know our displeasure in the queso and sent the queso back. We were still charged full price for the appetizer with only a "oh no" response. Overall would not recommend to others. What appeared to be the owner or manager stood in the unstocked bar most of the time talking to employees instead of making rounds. read more

Night staff was amazing. I left my phone there. My daughter went to get it for me the next morning as soon as they opened up and they would not let her look for it. Told her she couldn't be bothering the customers. My husband pinged my phone to make sure that it was there still and it was I went by there and they were rude told me they didn't have time nobody turned in a phone and when I asked if they could look behind the bar or at the waitress station stand was told they did not have time it was not there they told me it was not there. Went back after pinging it again and show them it was there to please look at the waitress stand or the bar and she told me we told you once it was not here good luck in finding your phone. Yes I had a few Choice words for them. I left my husband calls and they say the night shift would be coming in at 4:15 he calls at 4:20 and they said yeah the phones here it's right here at the waitress stand. So I go up there a fourth time this time I asked to speak with the manager after I got my phone back from the very very nice night staff and he brought along the smartass waitress I had talked to earlier that day and she sat there in lied through her teeth and I finally just had to walk away before I knocked her out. Celebrated my DH 65th birthday here with my 2 sisters and their hubbies. Zach, our server, was awesome. Immediately brought out water and took drink orders. Drinks were spot on and then time to order our dinner. As we were going over the menu hot rolls were served with butter and an appetizer of spinach artichoke dip with chips. The dip was hot and cheesy. DH ordered the grilled pork chops with sauteed spinach and green beans. I tried a bite abd the apple cinnamon sauce was a perfect accompiment with the chop. He said green beans were good but the sauteed spinach, much-loved. My sister and I had the salmon. Very good, cooked perfectly and appreciated that the skin was removed before being plated on the bed of rice. I had the farm salad and also the steamed spinach. It was fresh spinach slightly sauteed with garlic. One BIL had CFS with baked potato topped as requested. Baby sister and her better half had Angus Beef Ribeye steaks with sweet potato fries and she had to take leftovers home due to getting full. Or it could have been the special Long Island Ice Tea that Zach made for her before the meal DH was given a free dessert for his birthday so he chose the Italian Cream cake. Yummy. Had reservations for Valentines and the place was not that busy but it took 15 minutes to get a waitress when the waitress came she said she couldn't take our order because she was the lunch waitress and had to get someone else. Another 10 minutes go by when we asked if we could get a waitress at that point we were done with their horrible service and left. I don't like leaving reviews when things are not good because most of the service industry hears constantly about it when things are less than perfect, but a lot less when things are delightful. This review would be five stars if it was based solely on the young lady who was the hostess that greeted us, the server that served us, and everything else while we were there. She WAS delightful. The rest of the representation of this place in the pictures on Yelp! and their website are a complete farce. I am wary of places when most of the pictures posted are by the business. Nothing looks like the pictures and the menu is not at all what it shows online.... and the menus themselves are filthy dirty and falling apart so if they're not old as heck, what the heck are they doing with them? gross! When I checked in on Yelp! they had a free fried pickes appetizer, which I thought was cool and Ms. Server was very quick to happily bring us. I couldn't even chew the skin of the pickles and the middle was mushy... I went to the bathroom and spit it out. I ordered french fries. That's the only thing any of us took a second bite of, they were alright, but several of them were way undercooked. We also ordered the french onion soup and baked potato soup. I was impressed that the menu says, in different dishes, both scallions and chives, so I thought they knew the difference, which is kind of rare, however, you can see the potato soup had neither. Neither soup was hot... the potato soup was mashed potatoes with cheese on top and the french onion soup was a brown onion sludge topped with cheddar cheese. I did not let either of my parents eat either one as they looked like they had been hanging around all week and were at least when delivered to us, in the temperature danger zone. If I could give half stars, I'd probably have given it a 2.5, but I rounded up instead of down because I sincerely believe that this place just had a bad day when I went there. First, the setting, or "ambiance" Yelp calls it. It was great. The place was clean, the bathrooms were clean, it was spacious, and you could carry on a conversation with people without having to yell over crappy Morgan Wallen music like a lot of steak houses like to do. The menu had a ton of options, and I went with the blackened chicken and shrimp Alfredo. It arrived hot, and I was a good sized plate of food, with plenty of chicken (that wasn't blackened) and shrimp. It wasn't bad, but lacked a lot of flavor, compared to some other places that serve a "Cajun" style Alfredo. My wife ordered the 8oz sirloin with some mac and cheese. You can see by the pic, that the meat was put on the plate by itself, with no sign of anything to help it look more appetizing. Even Outback throws a little parsley garnish on the side to attempt to dress up the steak. As far as the quality of the steak, it was a little overcooked, and very under seasoned. Not even a grain of salt on it that we could tell. My wife only ate about 3 bites of it, and I took the rest home and diced up and mixed with my eggs the next morning with some salsa. Wife did say that her Mac and cheese was pretty decent tho. Finally, the kids meal that my daughter had. Mind you, this 7 year old would eat chicken strips out of a mailbox if she found some. But she couldn't eat these strips. I thought she was just being her picky self, but I tasted them, and this bird was dry and over-fried by a mile. When a kid can't choke down the chicken strips, there's room for improvement. I wanna like this place. I had heard great things about it, but this day, it was terrible. A few days later a buddy of mine ate there and was very pleased with everything he had. So obviously there's some inconsistencies in the food. We we're staying at the Choctaw RV resort and looking for a good lunch. We Yelped this place up and it looked like a winner. And it is! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We were greeted and seated right away. The lunch menu has a lot of excellent choices. I went with the chicken Panini sandwich. Wow! The thing was huge and delicious. I got to enjoy it twice since I brought half home. The chicken tortilla soup is crazy good. We come up this way from Texas quite frequently. This place will be a go to lunch stop! read more

They have an extensive menu along with wine and cocktails. We ordered the artichoke dip appetizer and lunch specials tortilla soup w/farm salad and chicken parmesan sandwich with French onion soup. Our waitress seemed scattered but friendly, the timing of the food was odd with soups missing spoons and when she went back to get them we observed her stopping to input another order. My husband and I went here after the casino earlier this week, expecting good service and good food. But were greeted with an intoxicated bartender, who also appeared to be the manager as well. We've been here before a couple times and enjoyed our food (which is always spot on) but the manager always appears to be under the influence when he's there. Which mind you isn't a big deal as if we were to go to a bar but this is a nice restaurant and I find it really unprofessional to be greeted and sat by a guy who is under the influence. Our food was really good though, the filet was spot on. I don't usually make reviews but I just wanted to bring it to y'all's attention. Slow service. Not enough staff. The server had to be bartender and server, even though she had no experience as bartender. My bloody Mary was nasty. The mushroom appetizer was not appetizing. Many of my friends and family who were with me were very disappointed. Some received food that was cold. My friend reported there was no toilet paper in the girls' bathroom. We came here after officially adopting my son. A blessed day. Looking to fellowship while enjoying a nice meal. Sadly, this experience was the one black spot in what was a perfect day. My Family and I went here for dinner after leaving Choctaw Casino to celebrate my son's birthday. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the food was great and the atmosphere was comfortable. The four of us all ordered steak, two sirloins and two ribeyes all were very well prepared! I have to say for me, it was the best steak that I have eaten! It was tender, juicy and very flavorful!
