A few minutes later, my wife called me upset because staff members were accusing her of not paying for her meal. When I returned, there were several employees surrounding my wife in front of the entire dining room. The hostess stated she did not recognize me, and the waiter, who had already served us multiple times, initially failed to remember us as well. My wife attempted to show proof of payment on her phone, but it would not load due to network issues. The waiter had also already removed the receipt from our table. After I reminded the waiter of our drink order and details from our service, he finally remembered us and confirmed we had paid. By that point, however, my wife had already been publicly embarrassed while numerous guests watched the situation unfold. We understand mistakes can happen, but the way this situation was handled was extremely unprofessional and humiliating. We hope this matter is addressed so future guests are not treated similarly.
