Our entrees were good. A personal Jersey girl and a lasagna. The balsamic salad dressing was excellent. However the bruschetta was unexpectedly deconstructed. To start off I am a fan of sweet tea... and this was golden the best I think I have ever had! Next Cesar salad, OMG it was fantastic! Fresh crisp house made dressing.. wow just wow! Now for starters I had fried cheese sticks. Hand cut Swiss and battered fried to perfection. Melt in your mouth good! Next up Pizza! Wow Wow Wow!! So we were on a camping trip to Oklahoma at Lake Murray. My friend and I snuck off from the rest of our campers and used YELP to find a place to find something eat. This place was incredible. Why does it have to be so far? We walked in and were greeted by a wonderful young lady. The place is small and cozy with a home feel to it. It was very clean and just felt right. My buddy and I both had our sons with us, the waitress was very patient with us and our kids. We ordered our pizza and it arrived pretty fast. While waiting for our pizza, we all had to wash our hands. There were two magical pixies in the bathroom eating off the toilet seat. IT WAS THAT CLEAN. I'm not joking, this bathroom was cleaner than a bathroom in a clean bathroom showroom. I was emotionally taken by how clean it was. I consider the cleanliness of the bathroom to be a reflection of the cleanliness of the restaurant. If that's the case here, Mr Clean must be the cook. I get back to the table and our pizza arrives. OH MY GOODNESS that was some mighty tasty pizza. You ever have food that's so good that you get depressed when it's almost all gone? That's how good the pizza here was. It was cooked to perfection, the ingredients tasted fresh and yummy. One, if your specialty is pizza I should place it in my Mouth and atleast be like "wow this is good" but no. It tasted about the same as Cici's but triple the price. 2nd, I got a personal pizza and it was literally like 6 inches. 3rd the server literally said "would y'all like some ranch, parm or red pepper" and then charged us for the ranch? An amazing pizza experience in Ardmore! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding service. It fits in perfectly with Ardmore's downtown vibe. We came here after a day of swimming at Lake Murray and we were thoroughly satisfied. All the pizza and paninis were scrumptious. My friend called his tomato basil soup some of the best he's ever had, and the roll that comes with it is absolute HEAVEN! And don't you dare leave without getting a dessert either. I was very keen on their organic frozen yogurt and key lime pie. I think for the quality of their food, the prices are very fair as well. 3.5 stars, but considering there are not many local places here, rounding up to 4. We went to Ten Star during lunch. After seating ourselves, a very polite man took our drink orders and promptly got our drinks (he was working very efficiently, the other waitresses, not so much). After we were handed off to a waitress, it took forever for us to put in our order. It also took forever (45+ minutes) to receive our food after we ordered. Many of those around us had the same experience; pressed for time, a few packed up their pizza and left before having the chance to eat. As for the pizza, it's the best I have found around here. There's not much sauce, and I'm a sauce person; if you aren't a sauce person, this is definitely for you. The ingredients were fresh and the crust was baked well. The service here is slow and sparse, but if you have 1.5+ hours to burn, this place isn't bad. It's great for Ardmore (eat local!). read more

The pizzas are amazing! Never had one that I didnt like. Our favorites are The Bob - a pizza with EVERYTHING, don't leave the jalapeños off, and The Goat - a gourmet pizza delight. The lasagna is so good and not your typical lasagna. It's made with a bolognese sauce and a creamy bechamel sauce. Don't leave without trying a piece. The Bruschetta and Spinach Salad are two more things you don't want to miss. The decor is modern, fresh and comfortable. The service is friendly and attentive. This local gem is situated downtown in the Depot District. Ardmore is truly lucky to have this quality restaurant in our hometown. read more

Searched Yelp while in town doing some SeeDoo ing. They have a pizza called the Jimmie or Ole Blue. I order this pizza with olive oil base vs. pesto and it is a great choice. Great crust, fresh toppings that are not over baked or too soft. Great atmosphere. Price seems higher than some pizza places but this a a step up. Where do I even begin? Coming in you are greeted by a nice and clean rustic atmosphere. We were greeted at the door and were told we can sit where we please. The menu has really nice options. At first the price seemed a little high, but we went ahead and ordered The Old Blue. The server took our order and you can see them making our pizza! It came out fast. The pizza was a great combo of crust to toppings. The crust was delightful light and crunchy. The toppings were a nice flavor. The cheese.... that cheese is really good! 3.5 stars for me. The pizzas are good but the wine and beer selections need help. First, this is a downtown restaurant so why do they only offer beers in bottles? The selection does not bring any local or even microbrew selections. I cannot believe someone said the wine offerings were good. Wine is offered by the glass and one of the cabs is $4.50 a glass when the bottle costs only $10. Staff is friendly which is a plus. Just wished they offered more. read more

We're just driving by and saw this place on Yelp. We got "The Bob" and it was extremely salty. The kids got the regular cheese pizza and it was ok. The water tastes icky. Not sure if this is how water should taste here (?). I'm not sure what's all the rave about this place but there's nothing extraordinary about it. I'm quite disappointed in fact given the great reviews. I do like the play doughs for the kids though. I always like pizza places that offer dough for kids to get busy with. read more

Was working out of town when I found myself in Ardmore. Asked a local on the street where the good food was and he recommended this place. I wish I could find that dude and hug him. This pizza is several notches above your typical corporate fair. Light crust (awesome crust btw), light fragrant sauce, high grade cheeses and toppings. If you're a pizza buff, check this joint out. Thursday night, met some business guys for a late dinner, arriving / seated at 8:10. Two other tables were finishing when we arrived. I dived into a spinach salad, topped with rock-hard (unripe) avocado. Asked waitress if they had a more ripe one, negative. Group ordered a cheese & carnivore pizza (cheese won). We stayed chatting until nearly 9:30. At around 8:30-8:45, the iPhones came out and text-time began: three high schoolers were working the front. Service was okay; decor was a pleasant surprise for the locality; pizza was fine, not memorable. 2.5 stars this night, but I acknowledge that trying a place for the first time in the last 50 minutes of service handicaps the experience a bit. I am sorry to all of the locals who love this place. I have to rate it compared to what I am used to to and it did not hit the mark. The pizza was extremely small for the price. The two guys I was with for work on the road, also left hungry. We each ordered our own pizza and we each left so hungry we had to stop at McDonalds on the way home. Other than portions, I found the sausage to be very bland compared to what I am used to. The decor was really nice and the servers were very friendly. You know what? This place was pretty great, but there was this issue with customer service. Literally, everything else was great. The food, the environment, etc. The only reason for the three stars was the wait and our waitstaff. We came in and got our name on the list and stared at an empty four-top that would eventually become our table for 30-40 mins. Not sure if there was a previous reservation or not, but it seemed pretty ridiculous to have people waiting on available tables. The food was great once it got out to our table. It took our waitress an unreasonably long time to get to us to take our order, then what seemed like too long to actually get the food. I'd understand if the place was rockin' and they were crazy busy, but we could've driven to a better restaurant in OKC, eaten, and made our way back before we ended up getting our check. We stopped in Ardmore on a trip form Dallas to OKC. Ten Star is about 2 miles off the interstate in historic downtown Ardmore, an small distance for such great food. The place was easy enough to find. We decided to have the lunch special of a salad and personal pizza. The salad arrived with fresh veggies and large portions of mozzarella cheese, and excellent taste for a Ceasar salad. My pizza had fresh smoked Bacon on pepperoni pizza and was fantastic. You can tell everything was made to order, so understand there may be a short wait. I'd recommend ordering one of their beers from the bar: Blue Moon, Newcastle, Sam Adams are are available, as are some red and white wines as well. The entire staff was very friendly towards us, despite having a full lunch crowd. The atmosphere here was very nice, and the food made it absolutely worth the short drive past the normal box stores along the interstate off ramps. If you are in or traveling past Ardmore, I'd highly recommend you stop in and check this place. out. read more
