I'm so incredibly grateful to have found Gluten Free Gloriously. It's so refreshing to find a store/company that transparently lists its ingredients, clearly marks allergens on each product, is actually a dedicated gluten-free facility and makes delicious baked goods. This is probably the best gluten-free bakery in New Jersey I purchased the coffee cake , carrot cake cupcakes, and red velvet cupcakes they were all out of this world and I have a really bad sweet tooth in case you can't tell LOL. All of my family members (who eat gluten) said the cupcakes were really good as well (and didn't taste gluten free). I also purchased a frozen pizza which was by far the best gluten-free pizza I've had year to date. The staff members were so friendly and informed us there is a Bay Ridge location as well which is much more convenient for me. Love this establishment!! read more

The most disrespectful place that my friends best friend had come to. The lady took her order, her deposit for a wedding shower cake then went on vacation but didn't leave instruction at the place on the decorations for the cake so the owner called her and when she explained that she already sent pics and a detailed description of the cake she wanted he went off on her saying that he is not making sugar flowers for a cake that size, and that since she wanted to add extra it was up-charge. Then he tells my friend " you know what I don't feel like making this cake so I'm giving you back your money and hung up on her. This was today about 12:30pm mind you she did this two months ago! Now I own 3 business' INCLUDING A BAKERY! And you neverrrrrrr talk to people like that, especially that they aren't rude to you! Don't take peoples money if you can't uphold an order! My (non-gluten free) family and friends still talk about how delicious my birthday cake was, even though it was several months ago..if that doesn't tell you how good this place is, then I don't know what will. Tests for ciliacs disease we negative so I went back to the wheat. My wife still lives the GF life. They have gluten free food so good, you would think it has gluten. The rainbow (tri color) cookies are amazing and better than the alternative non-gluten free. OMG this place is the best!!! Really the only place I can go to get gluten-free treats for my nephew that I'll also actually eat lol. I was turned on to this place when I went to my in-law's for brunch one day and they served these delicious muffins and my m-i-l very happily gloated "you know, those are gluten free". At first, I didn't believe her, then I said I could tell all along just to not give her the satisfaction, but that was a total lie lol. Then I did the same thing! Custom ordered a cake for 18-20 people, nobody had a clue it was gluten-free and everyone agreed it was delicious. A few minor complaints that it was too rich, which was my fault since I ordered the cake how my daughter and I like it (went heavy on the chocolate) with complete disregard for anyone else. I am so lucky to live within walking distance of Gluten Free Gloriously!!! I've had celiac for almost 10 years, so this place is heaven-sent. Everything I've ever tried has been delicious- hamburger buns, cupcakes, rolls, doughnuts, pizza, etc.! The price is the toughest, plus not all things have price stickers, so we did not realize we were buying a more expensive type of cupcake until at the register. We bought 2 items-- Sea Salt Caramel Cupcakes: The cake was lemon flavored... Did not anticipate that. The only caramel aspect was the drizzle, so the surcharge made it particularly disappointing. Cannoli: The texture of the pastry was great, it was very cinnamon in flavor though. Otherwise it is a Cannoli. I would rather make cupcakes on my own. Or Trader Joe's makes a really moist, decadent chocolate cupcake that I preferred, plus better price. Gluten Free Gloriously has the best gluten free bread and pastries I have ever had! My husband who isn't gluten free loves to eat everything I order. Also, they have been so wonderful during this pandemic. They offer free delivery and after placing the order, I only have to wait a few days to get the items. I'm so appreciate that they are doing this! My only recommendation is that I think they should add a spot on the bill for a tip. The delivery guys deserve something. I put the tip money in an envelope so they can take it safely but if there was a spot to charge it, it would be better. Everyone should try this place. You will not be disappointed. read more

If I could give this bakery 10 stars, I would. When I say the team pulled through for me in a big way I mean it. I was throwing a 30th bday bash for my bf and left the cake til last minute. Panicked me calls Wednesday and dares to ask if they can have a cake for 15-20 folks ready for Friday. Nick, the owner, was very accommodating and a lifesaver. When I put the order in, i did not specify much other than I wanted the theme to be disc golf orientated and because of the birthday boy's preference, that it'd be a carrot cake. What Rachel, Kacey and the team delivered was beyond anything I could have ever imagined. It was the highlight of a very wonderful night. By far one of the best cakes I have ever tasted. The decoration was magical but the taste was so moist it was hard not to want to eat the whole thing myself. Pictures don't even do this justice but I'm not sure any the cake in the history of cakes will ever top this one. Aside from this cake, I have been lucky enough to try other assorted treats and they also do not disappoint. The Chefs here aren't doing just good gluten free desserts, they're just good desserts. I couldn't even tell these were gluten free. And having a best friend with celiacs brought me right back here for treats to bring to her birthday dinner. The best lemon bars ever too. We got assorted mousse cakes too- mango, raspberry and chocolate. All delicious and again, hard to put down. What a fantastic gluten-free bakery! Amazing customer service! Nick was super helpful as I worked with him to design my wedding cake and even offered me a cupcake version of the real cake so my fiancé could try it! He was happy to incorporate some real flowers I gave him ahead of time and he delivered the cake to the reception venue on the wedding day at a time that worked for us even though that meant going out of his way. The cake was gorgeous and delicious! Fast forward a year. My mom brought the top layer of my cake in to be redecorated for my anniversary, but instead of just redecorating the thawed cake free of charge (which I already thought was pretty amazing), Nick replaced the layer free of charge!!! Was craving something sweet (and of course, gluten free) last weekend. I found GFG through a web search and I am glad I did. it is a very small quaint bakery. The owner was there and is super nice and helpful. She had just made mini apple pies that tasted delicious. We also bought a couple of pizza's and some really big chocolate chip cookies. The pizza is seriously very good, I highly recommend trying it. The chocolate chip cookies dough was heaven. My only issue is that I don't like Nestle chocolate chips and am pretty sure that was what she used in them. I prefer dark chocolate or a higher quality chocolate. This place is one of the best gluten free bakeries I've been to. The owner, Kathie Schwarz, takes great pride in her creations. She was explaining how most recipes - like the Italian bread I sampled... and then purchased :) - go through multiple iterations before being served. The bread must taste good and not fall apart both fresh and after freezing. I was particularly blown away by the chocolate chip watermelon cupcake. It sounded weird, but a taste test left my taste buds screaming with joy. Doing gluten free well takes lots of practice and experimentation. This bakery has figured that out and I hope they publish a cookbook some day! I walked away with a large bag of goodies and nothing disappointed. I wish they had a shop closer to home! read more
