    Fried cat Catfish

Have been here a few times before, nothing to rave about, just decent. However, this time was different. Girlfriend and I were sat immediately. Table was not cleaned, covered in syrup. Service was rather slow. We ordered two waters, a mimosa and fried green tomatoes to start. Again, nothing to get excited about. We get our drinks and appetizers and put our orders in. Caesar salad for her, fried catfish for me with eggs over medium, potatoes and a biscuit. When I tell you that nothing was seasoned is less than exaggerated. Absolutely no seasoning on my dish and hardly any dressing on her salad. (Photos included) I believe the worst part (and funniest) was that I believe her salad was apparently prepared for some sort of massive herbivore. The lettuce was the size of a dinner plate. Back in my day I would've been fired on the spot for sending out food like that. Needless to say, was less than impressed with this.

We were in town for a family reunion and decided to stop by Two Eggs for breakfast. What was supposed to be a party of 5 quickly turned into a group of 30. Although I would have called ahead, our hotel was just a couple of minutes away and I knew it would not give the restaurant much time to prepare. Despite the unexpected size of our group, the staff handled it with grace. Since they didn't have space to seat all of us together, they split us into groups of 10, which worked out just fine. I ordered scrambled eggs, sausage, and a pecan waffle. The food was tasty and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Our server was nice and patient taking into consideration our party size. The only recommendation I would make is regarding food delivery. The kitchen waited to bring out all ten plates at once, which meant some of the food wasn't as hot as it should have been. Mine was more on the lukewarm side. The eggs however were more cold than warm. I understand the reasoning, but perhaps serving the plates as they are ready would improve the overall dining experience. Luckily, we asked and our server heated our syrup so our waffle tasted warm. All in all, the food was good and I would return.

    Dirty Plate unkept tables

I've been here a couple of times before and my experiences were just okay, but this most recent visit was completely unacceptable. I was served a salad on a visibly dirty plate with old, sticky residue and food still on it -- something that could literally be wiped off with a thumb. It looked like dried syrup or leftover food. That alone was extremely disrespectful and concerning. The manager did attempt to correct the issue by replacing the food and serving it in a plastic container. However, when I pulled out my fork and knife, they were also dirty, with food still stuck to the knife. At that point, it became clear this wasn't just a one-time mistake but a bigger cleanliness issue. I even mentioned that perhaps the dishwasher needs to be cleaned or checked. For a cook to knowingly put food on a visibly dirty plate -- and then follow up with dirty utensils -- shows a serious breakdown in basic food safety standards. While I appreciate the manager trying to make it right, this should never have happened in the first place. My advice to anyone coming here: check your plates, utensils, and food before eating.

The food was about a 8/10. The eggs tasted a little powdery and weren't seasoned at all. The pancakes and the chicken sausage were really good. For the fried fish plate, I chose catfish and it was seasoned very well. The Mimosa weren't the best just tasted regular so about a 7/10. Overall the experience was great. However when they get busy the service gets terrible, so be mindful. It's a beautiful restaurant and the vibe was great.

We are in Georgia visiting family and was hungry for breakfast. We needed a spot to accommodate a large group with a short wait. Two eggs was the choice. The location is nicely lit, smooth R&B playing in the backround. They had many people in the restaurant but no wait as they had an even flow of traffic. Our waitress is super patient given our big group. She also knew the menu well and gave great recommendations. Now the food : My toddler got the big little breakfast( not shown), came with eggs, sausage, potatoes. When i tell you the portion size was nice !! He definitely had left overs. My fave thing was the fried green tomatoes !!! So good !! Paired it with feta and homemade ranch. I don't usually love ranch but paired with tangy feta sooo good !! The batter perfect, tomatoes perfect cut !!! I ordered the fish platter and Prickly Pear mimosa !! This food was good and that mimosa a dash of Prickly Pear and a whole lot of mimosa!!! Overall i definitely recommend this spot, amazing food and drinks, vibey atomsphere and awesome staff. The only thing is that there was a charge for using a card to pay but it's was only a 1 and change. Get here asap!!

    It should've been toasted bread!

Ohhhhhh Nooooooooooo!!! What happened???? Our Tummies are hurting now! The Hostess was awesome and seated us immediately. We waited, waitress finally came and received our order. Walked away and came back to the table and asked, "what drinks did you all order again? We ordered the fried green tomatoes for appetizers. We asked what they were? It was just puffy fried breading. Some had a hint of tomatoes and some didn't! We kindly asked about them and the waitress came back 15 minutes later and said the cook said we changed brands so that was it " TRASH!!!! Next- We both ordered salmon and grits with extra sauce with multigrain toast. After a long period, the salmon came out warm because the server took too long to retrieve it. The Toast was burnt black and we asked for butter, 15 minutes later she finally brought the butter to spread on cold burnt toast! We asked for fresh toast that's not burnt, 10 minutes later the toast came and it was barely toasted. She stated the toaster cooked it like that! Now, we've both experienced stomach problems today and that was the only meal we had. So I don't know what's going on but it looks like we're on One Egg now, this was substandard! I m definitely disappointed by everything, it was a terrible $56.00 experience!

The restaurant was crowded but they were able to sit my party of 3 within 5 mins of arriving. The inside looks nice and service was also complementary to the aesthetics. Food came out fast and was good overall. Will be back when I'm on this side of town.

You know, when you have a lot of time on your hand especially going to see a friend up in Conyers. And you also do some door dashing, it's always important that you keep your strength up. Let me tell you.I am a foodie at heart and I wanna do my best to try restaurants.Especially at places I don't go too often. And I can tell you Two Eggs is absolutely incredible. It's one of the best things I love is that they have been yeast and they have these wonderful, delicious, blueberry cobbler Beignets i have to say personally, I also purchased the sweet and salty beignets, but they got nothing compared to the blueberry cobbler . Ialso tried the french toast plate and the deluxe, hot chocolate and what a lovely combination it was. This is an excellent place to come to.However, I would have to say if you intend to come here by yourself with friends or family.I would recommend getting here early as possible. The thing about it is that this place is packed out, especially on the weekend. So you gotta get here early to get an excellent seat. Overall, though, the atmosphere was wonderful and amazing. I cannot wait to bring friends here next time.I know they'll love it.

Our waitress was friendly, polite and attentive. Our latte and cappuccino came out cold, had to request for it to, be microwave. Our food also was cold, and the French fries were salty. We also ordered 4 mimosas which were never received. The ambiance was casual.

My overall experience was good! The parking is limited just a heads up. I was a little disappointed in the service as I was seated immediately but after 10 mins nobody ever came and I left and went to the bar. Unfortunately I was put off several times by the bartender. That was my only complaint. The food was ah-May-zing. Fried green tomatoes were cooked just so crispy enough. I wouldve preferred a different more traditional sauce than blue cheese or ranch. The pancakes were thick and fluffy very good so was the chicken sausage. Eggs were good too. I'll definitely be back. Oh the music was early 2000s RB which I enjoyed.

Good food, awesome service by Terrell and reasonable price! Oh can't forget about the coffee, Free refills!!

Fried Fish & Grits, eggs, wheat toast

I could tell by looking at the plentiful options on the menu, that the food was going to be amazing. I started off with beignets with strawberry sauce. It was the perfect starter especially with it being rainy outside. It was light & airy. I got the fish (whiting), grits and eggs for my main dish. It was a huge dish so I ended up taking a to-go box. I love the idea of flights with beverages because you can get a taste of a drink in different flavors. I got the mimosa flight (mango, pineapple, apple and cranberry). It's definitely enough to share with four people and the drinks were nice and strong. The staff was friendly from the moment I walked in until I left. I will definitely check this place out again when I'm in town.

The mimosa flight. The pancake plate for Wifey. The fried fish and grits for me.

The bone in chicken was delightfully crunchy but not overly so. It was just a little bit greasy but not overly so. Still I was glad it was served on a separate plate. The waffle was just big enough. I've had gigantic waffles that tasted awful and this wasn't that. No pulp in the OJ!!! The grits were reportedly just ok but I didn't try them. The tenders were equally crunchy and arrived hot. I ordered the fish and grits and my sister got the shrimp and grit balls. None of it was seasoned, with MAYBE the exception of the Cajun sauce that came in both dishes. If you're like me, you know it's not hard to even lightly season seafood or even grits, so it was disappointing the flavors, or lack of, that we got. Will we be back? Eh idk. I really wanted to see if things had improved since my last visit with a large party. Unfortunately, it still feels like a place with potential that's not being supported properly. When we walked in, I thought things had turned around. The new host (her first day) was amazing warm, confident, and professional. She gave a great first impression. But once seated, it went downhill. * The music was way too loud, to the point where we had to lean in just to talk. * There was only one server working the entire restaurant, which meant slow service, long waits, and a stressed-out vibe. Let's talk food: The fish and grits (see photo) were phenomenal easily the best thing I've had on both visits. Creamy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The chicken and waffles (see photo) were average. Chicken was seasoned okay, but the waffle was a bit underwhelming and slightly rubbery. This place could be a standout in the area the branding, the menu ideas, the food (when it hits) are all there. But the inconsistency, staffing issues, and volume level hold it back. Would I come back? Maybe, for the fish and grits. But only if I hear they've fixed the basics.
