I went twice, the first day I went with my girlfriend and I had the beignets, sweet and salty, fried green tomatoes and a Belgium waffle (she talked me into the waffle, I dont eat like that). The beignets had a banana foster syrup with bacon crumbled on top, She had the grits and shrimp with eggs and pancakes. Day two, I went with my grandchildren, and I had the beignets again with the fried green tomatos, but this time, I got the peach cobbler Beignets. However, I prefer the sweet and salty. I ordered from the Conyers location this morning. My order was missing items and some items were over cooked. I spoke with 3 different managers including the General Manager Kaleb Penny who talked over me continually and hung up on me. I would not recommend supporting this chain until there is some changes made in the way the customers are treated. The manager is the son of the owners. The entire restaurant needs retraining From mangement to the kitchen staff. Adding response to owner. I wasn't rude and I never called anyone stupid. I said the staff was incompetent. Why was there a need to speak with 3 different managers. All managers should be trained to handle customer grievances. My husband is the one that called the police because your son Kaleb is the one that grabbed him first. The police said it wasn't assault because my husband immediately grabbed him back. You need to teach your son to keep his hands to himself and how to speak to customers. Your response shows why your staff and your son are both incompetent They reflect the incompetent owner. You never have to worry about me spending my money or anyone else's money at your poorly ran restaurant. I wouldn't recommend your restaurant to my worst enemy. They say support black business. I ordered the cornbeef hash which the menu stated would have "chunks" of cornbeef along with onions and potatoes...instead I received homestyle potatoes without onions and cornbeef bits. We waited another 20 minutes for those. The oatmeal has no flavor at all. The beignets were sooo amazing, we enjoyed the ambiance and the atmosphere, but our server was not it. We got our food, she didn't ask us if we needed anything and we couldn't really find her so we had to ask other workers for jelly, napkins, straws. Two eggs! -Conyers is a good addition to the area. Prior to their arrival, there were very limited brunch/breakfast options nearby. The place is always busy, to some degree, so it is always best to utilize the waitlist option through Yelp. I have visited the establishment on several occasions, and each time feeling like the service and food quality were the same. So far, the pancakes and apple beignets are the family, favorite, with the French toast and breakfast bowls running a close second. The only reason for the four star rating is because there can be very long waits, depending on the time of day, and we often have to wait longer than usual for your food to come out. The servers and runners are visibly doing the best that they can but management may need to consider putting more effort into staffing and/or supporting the wait staff they have. My only gripe was that the crab cakes didn't taste completely like crab, but were good to taste, and the fried green tomatoes were slightly overcooked. My family and I was visiting from Las Vegas and we were looking for a good breakfast spot. Something that made us think of home cooking. We looked at the nearest restaurant near us and two eggs popped up. We gave it a try. The food was amazing. The pancakes were soft, fluffy, and buttery, and they even had mimosas to top it off but the thing that put the icing on the cake was our server Kendall she came to the table so bubbly, smiling just made the whole experience A1. Their fried fish is well seasoned and fried crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, a good substitute for the freshly caught version I'm used to up North. The cheese grits are good and I've also enjoyed the shrimp and grits, cheese eggs, and waffles. This was the chosen rendezvous point for my family before they headed to the winery. We arrived just after my family left, but we were still able to get in and seated pretty quick. The DJ set a fun vibe in the restaurant, and the staff(specifically one dancing/hype waitress lol) were friendly. Our waitress was very nice and helped point out some pretty good recommendations. We started with the fried green tomatoes. Two orders accidentally came but there was a clear difference in which batch was fresh despite them both being good. I was a little disappointed with my cinnamon roll pancakes because they were a lil tough and dry, even with syrup and the potatoes weren't seasoned well(if at all). The fried fish was good and seasoned and I'm not sure if they get enough recognition but the biscuits were delicious. I stopped patronizing a while back but decided to give them another try because a family member wanted to try. So I gave in and decided let me try again. A table sat after us approximately20-25 minutes and received the same exact appetizers that I ordered. When we addressed the issue, THE MANAGER/OWNER responded yes we have tires coming right behind. 5 minutes later still no beignets, so my wife went to address the issue, in which he told her just go have a seat, I said we are bringing them to you. Then one in my party received his entree' and boo one else received their entree for atleast another 15 minutes. Well atleast we did receive the beignets he mentioned about 7-10 minutes later from when he rudely told my wife to go sit down. Finally the food starts to arrive, and I must say once again, didn't fail to disappoint, because I already knew! But lo and behold 2 entrees in my party didn't arrive until everyone else was just about finished with theirs. My aunt had to address the server, cook and manager/owner SEVERAL times; In reference to the attentiveness, the food and timeliness of our entrees/appetizers. And the unprofessionalism was off the charts. The ONLY person that show any type of concern was our waitress; in which the manager/owner snapped at her at one point. Not once did a manager visit our table and offer any type of compensation or a simple apology for our experience. By no means do I wish the failure of this establishment, especially being I know the Husband & Wife team that owns it; and are very sincere and dear folks. Went here for Sunday breakfast and it was delicious! We had a group of 5 and everyone said the meal was great. I had the shrimp and grits and it was awesome! The peach pineapple mimosa was very good! The prices were very reasonable. The service was a little slow at the beginning, probably because they were busy, but once the server got to us it went pretty quickly.
