If you like rude hostesses and waiting forever on subpar overpriced food then you should definitely eat here. The other location on River St does at least have friendlier staff but the food is the same. Don't recommend, sorry read more

Food was a bit bland and overpriced. Scrambler was watery. Biscuit is huge and fluffy but bland. Service was pleasant. View of the river is nice. read more

Thank you, Gigg!!! Food was delicious and service was outstanding! The cathead biscuits are a MUST because they are bigger than a cat's head (add the traffic jam omg). Make sure you try the shrimp and grits, white trash hash, and the crab cake Benedict. We were lucky to meet the owner and hear about his other restaurants. We are so glad we stopped here!! read more

The worst! Eggs weren't cooked, grits were cold. The cheese was not melted n the grilled Rueben sandwich. The manager only apologized and did nothing to adjust the bill. Even more disturbing is she pulled the cook out the kitchen and had him hear the concerns with food directly from me. So unprofessional! This was how she manages... unbelievable. read more

Very expensive. $65 for two. My $24 Greek omelette was barely edible. Dry chunks of chicken, bitter spinach, and unmelted cheese kind of thrown together. My wife had bacon and eggs which weren't bad. $2 extra for cheese on your grits. $7 for a biscuit. Extremely overpriced for poor quality food. It's hard to screw up breakfast but that was the worst I've had in months. read more

The service was great - quick and friendly. The white trash hash was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Absolutely delicious.

Need to improve their service. Very slow. Not impressed. The food was ok, but the biscuits are way too large, hash had a strange taste to it and the food was too salty. The waitress seemed like she was high on something. Will not come back to this place. read more

Beyond overpriced. I ordered the Lemon Ricotta pancakes and paid $25 for 3 pancakes basically. They gave me maybe 1/8 of a cup of lemon compote and 3 pieces of sliced strawberries. That didn't even cover 1 pancake. My kids each got 1 piece of French toast and 1 small sausage patty that looked like it came from McDonalds, those were $14 meals off the KIDS menu. Absolutely outrageous pricing in this place. The food isn't even that good. McDonald's would have been better for much cheaper. Don't go here, save your money. read more

$$$$$$$$$ Check those reviews before going! check the prices even better! Got seated, three of us. ordered, waitress was super cool. ordered eggs and potatoes skillets with side of potatoes, 3 coffees. skillets came out very disproportionate. Each had a different amount and none were hearty! During eating a fight breaks out in the kitchen...right by us. wasn't very pleasant. Never got our sides of potatoes but didn't care by this point. just wanted out! Bill comes...$80 something and that was with $20 credit for no sides! YIKES!! McDonakds big breakfast would have tasted much better! lesson learned!! read more

The atmosphere of this cafe was amazing. The smaller location is like a like a little hole in the wall but it's super adorable. They do hand a larger location right down the street but we didn't go there. My server Siisii was amazing and took care of us first timers. She is a kind and lively soul. My mom had the peach French toast and I had the white trash and both plates looked and tasted amazing. The mimosas and Bellinis are to die for as well read more

Eh. Underwhelming. We only ordered side of gravy and a biscuit with coffee and tea but .... that should be an easy A in a joint like this. Gravy was lukewarm and lacked flavor, biscuit while nice to look at, also boring. Ordered unsweetened tea, received sweet tea. Coffee not nearly as strong and robust as the server touted. *****Cash only **** ATM on site. read more

This place is AMAZING!!!! My husband and I are early risers so we got there right when they opened and were seated immediately on a Saturday morning. Loved that they were playing worship music throughout the restaurant. Our server was Nicki and she was just outstanding. She gave us wonderful recommendations for not just what we ordered but also things to do while we were visiting. My husband got a Bloody Mary and the classic breakfast, and I got a French vanilla cappuccino and the crab cake benedict. HUGE portions and everything was pure deliciousness! My husband has already told me I have to try to replicate their traffic jam recipe that comes with their biscuits - so yummy! One thing to note for those stopping by, it was cash only, however there is an ATM inside and I believe it was a 3% charge to use. Can't recommend enough! read more

Went went because a friend recommended and it was on a few Savannah "must visit" lists. I wasn't all to impressed. We were able to get a great table by the window with a view of the river. The kids loved that. But the tables aren't adequately biased or cleaned and apparently the floor doesn't get swept throughout the day. The servers and host all seemed pretty kind but it was a disappointment that they only had 1 restroom and it was out of order. The biscuits were huge and pretty tasty. The food came fast and hot. Everything else was ok, standard breakfast fare. The grits were just not good. I'm glad we came to have the visit but we don't have to return. read more

We walked in not bust at all took 30 plus minutes to get our breakfast & waitress never checked on us. Food was not hot & staff was not very friendly at all. Don't even care if you're there. We paid $80 for 2 people definitely not worth it. The best thing about it was the view of the water. read more

I have had Cubans before this is the first one with no flavor and a bag of chips. At $ 20 not the best choice. At $ 6 for bottle water is even to expensive for anyone good grief. I would eat way better home cooking at Granny's in cherokee anyway. Now thats great food. Sorry never again. The waiter needs to come by and ask if you need or want anything, but no. Debbie's down the street is where you need to go. read more

Paid for an overpriced cold breakfast. Cheesy grits ($2 upcharge to make them cheesy) is a few pieces of bagged shredded cheese on top. Sausage was cold and dry, egg whites were not cooked enough, and don't ask for toast instead of your biscuit because there are no substitutes. Asked for a side of toast to be added at it was 4.25 for white regular toast. Paid $70 for a breakfast that should have cost $30 at MOST. read more

Wow! Bear with me, this might be a long one!!! 4 of us (all at/near retirement age) walked in and grabbed a table. Took a bit of time for the server to get to us and when she did, we ordered. I wasn't very hungry, so my wife ordered the Mediterranean omelet that comes with a biscuit. I requested a side of gravy as I was going to eat just the biscuit and gravy. I was informed that was a 7.95 charge, to split the meal, which I think is more than a side of biscuits and gravy. The couple we were with ordered avocado toast and Diet Coke for the drink. They were out of Diet Coke as well as avocados. At this point, the combination of not having avocado toast, Diet Coke, 7.95 charge for me to eat my wife's biscuit and a slightly snarky waitress ("It clearly shows the splitting fee on the menu") we decided to leave. This is where 2 Cracked Eggs snatched a bad experience and turned things around on a dime. Sabrina, a recent manager hire at this location, stopped us and asked why we were leaving. We explained the situation and she immediately let us know the split charge would not be applied if we wanted to stay. But due to no avocado and Diet Coke, we let Sabrina know we were going to look elsewhere. At this point, Sabrina apologized, and told us she would personally ensure they had avocados the next day and to ask for her by name when we came in. The following day we came in and Sabrina almost immediately sat us and provided exceptional service. The food was outstanding, the grits, both were delicious delicious and the biscuit was one of the best I've ever had. Add that to the homemade preserves and you have a recipe for an expanding waistline. Restaurants are expected to have good food and service. When they fail to deliver, a great restaurant run by a competent manager, will make it right. Sabrina exceeded all reasonable expectations and as a rest, every time we visit Savannah we will visit 2 Cracked Eggs. Thank you Sabrina. You rock!!!! read more

We missed breakfast at the hotel after late night revelry ::yawn:: Let's eat!! Noticed this place last night, just a short walk from our hotel. Located on the water side of Bay Street; you must cross a foot bridge to enter this upper level establishment inside old world architecture, beautiful! Just a minor wait on a busy holiday. We were seated outside; beautiful day!! Double sided menu. Bestie had hot tea and the breakfast sandwich which consisted of the biggest fluffiest buttermilk biscuit ever!!!! =O filled with folded egg, bacon and cheese; she said it was the sh!ttt !!!! We both had grits with cheese - every bite delicious better after salt pepper and hot sauce!! I had hot coffee and the homemade corned beef hash, a huge bomb biscuit, two scrambled eggs with cheese! Double Deelicious!!!! =O. They have a homemade jam aptly named "Traffic Jam"; a must try!!!! Had some of everything and took the rest back to our room for later!! Two well manicured thumbs up x 2, lol!! Brunch /Breakfast at Two Cracked Eggs y'all, come check it!! =)). read more

Maybe they should just close up shop and start all over. Nifty name and Hummer outside, but that's it. We were actually insulted by how disastrous this place was. We waited for 45 min and gave up. There were several couples and families in the tiny waiting area and outside, all of which were visibly frustrated and upset. If you are "Hangry" don't come here, you will turn into the Grinch! We stood right by the check-in counter/register and watched all the dysfunction and chaos with the staff. Multiple wrong orders being sent back, waiting staff arguing, and the poor kid at the front desk told us he was new and was just thrown onto the register and didnt know what to do or tell us. Everyone was was watching in amazement and I asked one of the servers what was going on and she said "I really don't know, I have not figured it out yet." Our final straw, was to see the Manager just throw his hands up and walk out (he just kept walking until out of view...LOL) Just like a scene right out of Forrest Gump! Now with all of this being said, there were plenty of seats open in side rooms and upstairs so it was obviously personnel issues. In the main area folks got up and walked out leaving almost full plates on the table (we seen two tables with children do that). That was our queue to leave. This was not a good example of Savannah, GA - actually a black eye on the beautiful community. When asked about our visit by friends and family this is the crazy story we start out with (the rest of our trip was amazing!) I highly recommend this place shut down, restructure, and retrain it's staff before opening again. Maybe sell that nice Hummer with your logo on it and pay a good breakfast manager to work there. read more

We visited Savannah the beginning of March. Decided to eat here. Was disappointed in the prices. Ham & Cheese omelet was I think $24.00. It came with grits. We opted to order the Sausage Egg and Cheese sandwich on a Cathead biscuit because it was one of the cheapest things on the menu and it was about $10. Thought we would be getting a sausage patty, but no it was crumbled cooked sausage. It came with grits and they were not very good. Also I don't eat a lot and we would have ordered the Ham & Cheese omelet because it's made with 3 eggs and split it. We changed our minds when we saw that I would be charged $7 for plate sharing. I have seen this done in New York City. Never thought they would do this in Savannah. Probably won't go here again. read more

Best breakfast joint in Savannah, Georgia I can't wait to go again with my hubby! I went with 3 of my girlfriends in a weekend trip. We decided to go to this breakfast spot because we've heard a lot about it. The food was absolutely delicious and each breakfast dish comes with a biscuit that is bigger than my fist. It's fluffy soft and I can't tell it's was made that morning and not pre-packaged. The food comes out in cast iron like plates and there's a large abundance of food so you'll likely take half home. The only thing to be aware of at this location is there aren't many parking options and they only accept cash. Besides that it's so delicious and worth a try! read more

Had the shrimp and grits. The grits were bland and the shrimp were good. The portion was tiny for the price. Service was good but she did forget to mention it was a cash only spot. It was kinda awkward when it came time to pay. Felt like I was strong armed to use their ATM. Bring cash if you come. The ATM is shady and will charge you two fees to use it. read more

The saying You can only pick 2 out of the 3. Good. Fast or Cheap. This place is not cheap and the food isn't fast. The food. Was just ok. So which one is it? The service was great and that is about it. The servers worked their butts off and used what they were dealt With. I had the corn beef hash, plain and small portions..not that I dont care about the size but nothing to talk about. I would not come back to try anything else on the menu. 2 stars for the service. read more

I didn't even take a photo of the food because it was so lack luster. They were very understaffed and we had a new server which was very nice but had no idea what was going on in the restaurant. One bathroom was disgusting and the other was out of toilet paper with no toilet paper in the entire restaurant on stock. We even saw one of the cooks go to the restroom with his kitchen apron on and then back to the kitchen area. One of the walls near us was slowly leaking water onto the floor under a table that they sat a large party at. I will absolutely never return to this establishment and am very surprised they are still open. read more

Food was okay. I had a "Cuban" sandwich which was ham and pickles on a sweet bread. My boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy which were average at best. This establishment sees fit to blast repetitive music from exterior speakers starting at 6:45am, everyday of the week. For those of us staying at the hotel across the street for work, it's really disruptive to sleep. When the bar noise goes often until 1-2am, this 6:45am noise is even worse, since they're the only ones doing it. Please stop. You're not earning any business. Grabbed breakfast on my birthday at two cracked eggs. We asked what the server recommended and shared it. We ended up with the corn beef hash, a biscuit, and grits. The corned beef hash was the highlight- it was so good! The biscuit was also good, but the grits were my least favorite part. Service was great! We were disappointed because they charged us a $6 split plate fee, but they literally just brought and extra plate to the table. Overall, I'd go back, but not share food. read more

The wait time to get in was a lot longer than the 10-15 minutes we were originally told, more like 35 minutes. There were several open tables that just sat open. Not sure if it was a staffing issue or what. I was pleased to see tomato juice on the menu because I can't usually find it. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes which came with bacon. Both were delicious. My daughter ordered chicken and waffles. The chicken was good but her waffle was not cooked in the middle. They did replace the waffle and it was better. Our waitress was very nice and we left her a nice tip. The view from our table was awesome. If you have a lot of time to wait, add this place to your list. read more

We're local and on a lark I took my son here as we were walking around downtown Savannah. We were told the wait would be 30 minutes so we put enough money for two hour parking. After an hour I asked about the status of seating and they seated us shortly after. The prices are outrageous, which can be expected somewhat for the location but not the poor service. It took a half hour to get our breakfast, which was just eggs and bacon and toast. The food runner served us. The toast didn't have butter or jam and I couldn't ask my server because she never appeared again until it was time to pay. The bacon was dripping in grease. I had to ask someone else to bring carry out containers and our bill because at this point our parking was about to expire. So after an hour and a half wait, two bites eaten, no top up for coffee, and $50 later we left without leaving a tip- the first time I ever did that. Bad service, mediocre food, and long wait times. If you're a tourist looking for a trap this is the place for you. But locals should avoid it at all cost. read more

I'm wavering between 1 & 2 stars only because the biscuit was amazing... the corned beef was pretty good too... the service was terrible, took us an hour -I'm not exaggerating- to get our food. No beverage fresh-ups while we wait. Surcharges on everything is ridiculous. I get that it's a tourist trap but it was just about as bad a dining experience one can have without the food being terrible.
