Quick breakfast while we were out running errands today. We stopped into Two Chicks. There was about a 20-minute wait but it wasn't bad. We had a great server Ling who I want to thank for my to-go coffee which was unexpected and very special. We ordered off the small menu which are half items. I got the one egg, choice of meat, I took the sage sausage patty, a side of cottage cheese and sourdough toast which unfortunately I didn't get but that was okay. My granddaughter ordered the half eggs benedict which is exactly that on a big slice of Canadian bacon, with the side of cottage cheese and she also ordered a pancake. The food arrived quickly and we enjoyed it with a cup of coffee and some water. We love Two Chicks and we'll always come here. I want to thank our servers because they were great and the complimentary cup of coffee to go was a very nice surprise. You will never be disappointed here.

I opted for their Oreo pancake since it was their special that day. It was delicious, and while I was hoping for a little more presentation, it tasted very good. The portion size is definitely worth the price in my opinion. It was very busy when we went, but I could see why. The atmosphere is very busy, but chic and cool, and I can see why it's busy even an hour before closing. The only thing I can complain about was the wait time, but considering how packed the place was, it was ok. I'll have to come back and try some of their other items.

We had a party of 6 and had a little bit of a wait but not bad. We took advantage of Side Chicks and had a beverage while waiting. We got a table outside, was a little chilly in the shade but it was fine. We agreed to inside or outside when we out our name in. The kids were cold. We all ordered something different. I enjoyed my country Benedict. The egg was perfectly poached, gravy was tasty and so was the chorizo patty. Biscuits are always good. Hubby had the regular Benedict with added avocado. Yummy and good hollandaise sauce. He also had a jalapeño cheddar biscuit that was fantastic!! Son in law had the breakfast burrito, daughter really liked the poutine! Kids enjoyed the cheeseburger and pancakes grandson was looking for pickles on his burger. It was basically a grilled cheese with a burger patty. Heidi was our server and was friendly and made some great suggestions.

This place was soo good!! We had a large party and they were busy! But they accommodated us quickly and our waitress was the sweetest!! Delicious food! Cute spot! Would absolutely recommend and revisit!

What a sweet staff! All were so attentive to me. The place was clean and busy, but they didn't neglect a single person. I was having a day to myself and what an excellent spot to treat myself. The food was amazing! I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu. I got the chilaquiles and it was amazing! I can't wait to go back!

This place is always busy, and I now know why. The staff is fabulous, the place is clean and organized, the decor is whimsical and understated. The rest rooms are immaculate. And of course the food ... TOP NOTCH ! There is absolutely. O reason to have breakfast anywhere else in Reno

Do you find that places can be open for Brunch hours but seem to only specialize on breakfast OR lunch? We do, so we go to 2 Chicks where they have excellent coffee and innovative breakfast meal choices that equal the great iced tea combined with Melts, Burgers, unique sandwiches and salads for a comfortable lunch. Don't miss the local vendors offerings that this place partners with to keep it fresh and support other small businesses. Croque Madame, The Wiseguy, Bumble Brie, Caprese-Bene, Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, and Chile Relleno Omelet are just a few of our go to favorites. Kids can secretly eat healthy as well because 2 Chicks didn't leave them out of healthy choices. There was a short wait but they had a great system to text you when a table was ready. We ordered the 1/2 biscuit and sausage gravy and the eggs Benedict with 2 side orders of crispy bacon. The Benedict was cooked perfectly and the Parmesan hash browns were delicious. The biscuit is not a traditional biscuit from the south but was ok. The sausage gravy was bland with no flavor. We asked for crispy bacon and it was chewy. It also took 30 minutes to get our food which was quite a bit of time. We ended up with two Bloody Marys and they were delicious!

Parking could be tricky dependent on the time you come. The small business owners story is great, support what you can! Inside was very clean and the wait was not too bad. The staffs were a bit inattentive, we had to get their attention to get our water refilled twice. Chicken fried steak: 2.5/5, super dry and had no flavor. Maybe it's a Nevada thing Chilaquiles: 2/5, was already soggy on arrival and lacked flavor Breakfast burrito: 4.5/5, amazing

The best breakfast place in the Reno area that we have been to during this trip. Everything here is a flavor bomb!!This place is hidden in a newer part of the downtown area. Christina H was our server and she was very helpful with providing us with recommendations for the indecisive diners in us. I ordered a 1/2 almond French toast combo with blueberry compote. The sausage patty was nicely seasoned. Most places don't season their breakfast dishes enough, especially the egg and sausage. But this place takes the extra effort to give everything a little extra to perfect the taste. The hubs ordered pork chops and eggs with Parmesan hashbrowns. Two chicks is nicely decorated and serves great food. Of the many egg and breakfast places that opened up nearby, this one was more impressive. I appreciate the efforts they put into making new flavors and fresh ingredients.

Wow! Better than 99% of brunch spots in Vegas! I've been to the other location numerous times when I've stayed at Aiden. This Midtown location was 10x better. Our service was above and beyond and the food was absolutely show stopping! Something as simple as their cinnamon roll pancake and vegetable hash browns are next level. 5 star! Love the farm fresh egg option! Very busy inside with fun and quirky decor. Family friendly

Just went here with a friend who was visiting me from Dayton. The place is much bigger than it looks from the street. I was so happy that there was no wait for lunch. I like the menu because it has a variety and items that you don't find at other restaurants. Lots of people were there but we found a nice spot to visit. She got an Farm house omelet and the only thing she did not like was it had the white Mexican cheese instead of cheeses that melt like cheddar. I also thought the bread slice was small. I got the poppy seed french toast with eggs and bacon. The french toast is an acquired taste but I love that it had blueberries on top. It came with plain butter and syrup. My friend had the mango butter and that was great, so I will have to ask for that next time. The service was good. It is busy for a reason, try it out.

I'm surprised that I haven't reviewed this place sooner. It's a must stop every time I'm in Reno! They always treat me well. Coffee tastes great. Their chilaquiles are actually pretty good, but if you like them extra saucy like me, ask for a side of the sauce. Their omelettes are great too. You may have to wait for a seat but it's worth the wait.

Ask the Community - Two Chicks

My normal go-to has always been Peg's. Asking if anyone familiar with both can compare the two with pro's & con's to determine which might be the better choice?

Both are good but Two Chicks offers unique dishes packed with flavor and make their own honey and more. I think they bring the flavor a bit more than Pegs

    How is the parking?

Parking is fine. There is some in the back and along south Virginia street.

Any outdoor seating in either location?

The Midtown location has decent amount of outdoor seating, though you are right next to parking and through traffic.

    Are the mimosas bottomless?

    They are not

Does anyone know whats in the dipping sauce that comes with the garlic fries?? Or how it's made?

It's a garlic aioli! I might be wrong, but I believe an aioli is made similarly to mayonnaise, but with olive oil.

    Do they take reservations?

Nope. You show up and put your name on a list. It can be pretty packed on Sunday, especially if you have >4.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

When we arrived, every table was full, so we grabbed seats at the bar. It turned out to be a great spot to watch the bartenders create beautiful drinks, including some of their signature cocktails served in a glass purse for parties of two or more. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with groups celebrating birthdays and other special occasions. After looking over the menu, we decided on the lox crostini bites and the bruschetta. We each ordered a glass of sparkling wine. I added a chocolate rim to mine, which was fun to look at, although it didn't add much flavor. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed watching the flowing chocolate waterfall. Considering how busy the bar was, our food arrived quickly. The crostini were crisp, and both appetizers were fresh and flavorful. The only drawback was the volume of the DJ, but we knew what to expect as soon as we walked through the door. This is definitely a fun place for parties and groups looking for a lively night out. One last observation: I probably wouldn't choose this spot for a group of men. The décor and overall vibe are very much geared toward women, but the name says it all.

Very well cooked, perfectly tender, and the Calabrian chili oil was perfect for adding some spice. We then ordered entrees, which included the duck duo and a Caesar salad. The Caesar is nothing to write home about. It's fresh and from scratch, but it's just a Caesar. The duck duo came with both duck confit and duck breast. The duck confit was unreal. So tender and so flavorful. The duck breast was a bit tough for my liking, but I really enjoyed the sauce they used on the dish. Most of all, I was shocked by how good the dessert was. We ordered the cast-iron chocolate cake, and it was unbelievable. The sauce that bubbles away in the hot cast iron was spooned onto the rich cake and topped with vanilla ice cream. Nothing better!
