I typically order a larger one. I was more impressed with my pastry, their honey pecan tart. That had a nice flaky tart shell. Very light, not the slightest bit dry. The honey provided the perfect natural sweetness, and there were plenty of whole pecans. It was a terrific alternative to your usual syrupy, heavy pecan pastry. Very tasty, and again, not too sweet. I actually did eat it as my breakfast, and i think it works very well as a breakfast item vs a dessert. The space was very bright. There was a whole other room of seating, and it was nicely decorated with a fairly modern aesthetic. Lots of plants. And that was after I said something. So who knows how long it would have taken. This isn't because of lack of effort. The baristas were doing things. They're making lots of drinks. But it's not clear for whom. They finish the drinks and they don't call people's names. Maybe they're for to go orders? I understand that restaurants need to make choices about how they run things. All I can say is, that it's not a good experience to get all of your food and you have to wait for a black iced coffee (a drink that takes very minimal effort) for 10 minutes.
