Service was excellent, quick in and out for a no-hassle casual meal. I got the drunken noodle with tofu and it was like 3.5/5. Though all the right ingredients were included, it was lacking depth. My friend got the red curry with shrimp (4/5) and that was comforting for a chilly night. Decor was homey and casual.

Dine in | Dinner | $10-20 First time eating at a place that was recommended from the Gluten-free community, and it was not intimidating. Food was fantastic. Nothing labeled Gluten-free on the menu, but the waiter told me exactly what was Gluten-free, what could be modified, and what was off limits. Small place, but very relaxed atmosphere. Had this at Dinner yesterday. Would definitely recommend and go back for. However, I'm confused about the 93.0 (A) rating - maybe it was an off day when the inspector came? Because the food was delicious.

Red curry with chicken for lunch!

Stopped by for lunch today. I had the red curry with chicken and it was great! The salad and spring roll were also tasty but beautifully presented. The waiter was kind and attentive but not invasive. My meal came quickly too. The restaurant is nicely decorated and Spotless! with a beautiful saltwater fish tank too Other dishes served at other tables looked appetizing and I'm planning on coming back!

We ordered the Tom Kha which was really good, Tom Yum that was not as good unfortunately. We also ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice. Overall I will say the food is alright. Service very nice and attentive. The place is nice inside.

On the way to RDU I stopped at Twisted Noodles to get my Thai food fix. It was about 2pm on a Friday and the restaurant was empty. I was seated quickly and was able to get my order in nearly as quickly as I sat down! I ordered pad kea mow, with chicken. It was good, but not the best Thai food I have had in NC or ever. This said, if I was in the area, would eat here again to try other menu items.

Fair, if that. I prefer Thai Cafe. And skip the mango sticky rice, which hardly tasted like its name.

The ambience is beautiful and cozy, and the customer service was so warm and attentive. We sat upstairs in the izakaya during happy hour (Tuesday). The standout for me was the crispy tofu bao bun. The sauce in it was SO good, I honestly wish I had ordered more, especially since it was only $4. We also tried oysters for the first time (they were around $1.50-$1.99 during happy hour), and they were surprisingly delicious. We tried a few grilled skewers, shrimp, eggplant, and tofu, which were good, but not my absolute favorites of the night. The best was the egg sando. It might sound simple, but it was incredible, honestly tasted just like the ones I had in Japan, if not better. And the fries?? Perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. There was no wait as I was the only person inside although they were working on orders for door dash and phone orders but even still I had maybe a 10 minute wait at most. For my tamen I got the spicy Malay ramen which was very good, very full of various toppings and meat etc. the broth had a good spicy heat as well. My only complaint would be they the ramen was pretty lemongrass heavy and I'm not a super big lemongrass fan but if you are you're gonna love it!

The location was great and the restaurant itself was cute with IG worthy background. The staff were patient, helpful, and really nice. I ordered the spicy beef rib soup with hand pulled noodles, you literally watch them make the noodles through a small window. The soup was hot and flavorful with a hint of spice. They are not stingy with the rib I got 3 big pieces and had some to take home. I also tried the Bang Bang bun. That was equally as tasty. The bun was soft m, shrimp was crispy and the cucumber added a nice crunch. I ordered the pickled radish but it wasn't my favorite. It wasn't bad but not what I'm use to when I think of pickled radish. Overall I t was worth the hype!

They had two vegan options, and my partner & I both got the Biang Biang noodles. It was good, and perhaps even better the next day (the serving was big enough that I couldn't finish it). My sister got the Jjajiang Mian & absolutely loved it. This was a very positive experience, but not mindblowing--I think that the hype around the "M" restaurants perhaps raised my expectations a bit too much. It's also possible that their non-vegan options are stronger than their vegan options. Overall, though, very yummy, the prices are very reasonable for Durham ($16 for the Biang Biang noodles), and I would come back & try the veggie curry if given the chance.

My friend is from that area of the world and on her recommendation we tried this new place in downtown Durham. It was terrific, what a find! The restaurant's unique handmade paintings on walls and other Philippino decor was very eclectic and cool. We were in luck and she directed us to the back room. The server was extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes.
