The best way for me to describe this store is by describing it as Pier 1 Imports meets The Brick…read more With pieces of furniture spread out throughout the store, as well home decorations, kitchen and bathroom accessories and 'things and things' (Ie. seasonings, spices and decorative napkins), Home Evolution is a place where time will pass you by. With SO much to look at and so many unique home objects and accessories, I didn't know where to look first! Everything is compacted together so you have to move through the store slowly to ensure that you don't overlook any of the neat gizmos or gadgets. The items in the store are quite pricey however, but because they are so unique and because this was one of the only stores in the entire complex that carried stuff that I hadn't already seen in its neighbouring stores, I found this store to be especially refreshing. The staff was friendly and accommodating without being overbearing. Overall, a very interesting store to peruse!

I LOVED Bondars and Home Evolution stores. But recently my one experience has changed my whole…read morerespect for these stores. They had some wall pictures that we looked at few times and were hoping to go onsale. Luckily last night we were on their website and found the same pictures (Org. $390-$450) for $114 & $119. today we went to the store but they did not honour that price; instead, we were offered 10%...Basically they told me to FxxxOxx, in a polite way. From there i went to Lazyboy and found the same picture and guess what: THEY GAVE ME THE PAINTING FOR THE SAME ADVERTISED PRICE. (As advertised on home-evolution website). My wife and I, and my mom, spent almost over 20K in these stores in the last 6 months and after hearing this coming from the manager/Owner's daughter that they would only give us 10%; I ONLY WOULD LIKE TO QUESTION THEIR COMPANY's INTEGRITY. Today, they might have saved 400-500 from 3 pictures, but i can assure you they have lost thousands of dollars from us. My one Message to them: YOU HONOUR WHAT YOU ADVERTISE, THATS I!!! My ratings have gone DOWN due to this.

This is not really…read moremy particular style of home furnishing but if you are in need of country decor or sprucing up your cottage by the lake then this is the place to come. There is no way you would not find what you need in this place, that's for sure. So expect birdhouses and feeders, shabby furniture, vintage decor, braided rugs, yard art, linen and extremely unique gifts. But for me there are simply way too many scarved wooden figurines in this place. So CCI located at the Heritage Hill Shopping Centre.

I bought valences at this shop. They were matching, but sold in two different packages. When I took them out, the lengths were not the same. I tried to return them and the clerk simply said, "That's how they are." She refused to refund my $. She did offer a 10% discount on my next purchase. Needless to say, I now have two very expensive valences that I can't use. Recently, I went to purchase candles, only to discover that they have increased $5.00 in price since my last purchase in the summer. They are charging $18.95 for a small scented candle. Absolutely ridiculous! As well, the clerks stand behind the counter and act as if you are interfering with their personal agendas if you ask for assistance. I have decided that I simply will not shop here any longer. You'd be better to make the drive to Okotoks to a shop called FINISHING TOUCHES. I certainly intend to make the drive to where the pricing and service is reasonable and respectable. There is less selection at FINISHING TOUCHES, but the service is outstanding.

Now I pass here all the time, never in my wildest dreams did I expect what I saw inside; we are talking first of all an incredibly large store that descends for eternity to the back and is just plain lovely!! My friend wasn't exaggerating, every showcase, every shelf; every glassed cabinet was chockfull of lovely designer jewellery in the most spectacular designs. Here they carry some of the same designers as they do in Holt Renfrew but for a lot cheaper prices. But it didn't stop at jewellery there were beautiful globes of blown glass, intricately carved chopping boards that I would have hung rather than use and then my favourite an ethnographic object showcase in the far back featuring ceremonial objects from around the world. Here you can find original African Masks, fertility symbols from many countries, Native American antique pieces and authentic temple Buddhas. These objects were definitely market prices, you can buy these pieces for 4 times more on EBay, and here they are quite reasonable in price. Some of them have documentation too, so you know what village or tribe you are buying that object from. The service is tremendous, the people here know their stuff, they understand the precious cargo they carry. They are extremely present in helping you to see a piece or two, in my case more than 10. I love this store, it is exquisite, some of the most unique items I have ever seen and jewellery with such spirit, you should check this store out.
