The food is amazing! The service is fast, efficient, and very friendly. And the place looks amazing, very clean. I was shocked at how fast the service was. And everything was delicious! Highly recommended!

A coworker recommended that we try thus place. I was impressed with it. This place is a vibe. Loved the atmosphere. The service was great. The food was amazing. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The food was very tasty. Our order were prepared just right. We had a wonderful time. If you are in the area you must stop by if you want brunch.

We were greeted upon entry and immediately seated at a high top table, not the preference but whatever, it was packed. We ordered some biscuits that were sent twice because the first batch was hard solid like rocks, unfortunately so was the second batch but they were taken off the bill. They said it was the batter for some reason... But our waiter was courteous and helpful. The food was just ok, it needed more flavor. The hollandaise was more on the tart side. The scrambled eggs were bag eggs for sure and not real cracked eggs. The cheese was not melted on them either. The potatoes were the best part, they had a little sprinkle of sugar on them that balanced out the crispy savoriness. Worth a try. The honey cinnamon butter spread that's served with the biscuits is really good too. It's a little far out and was about 6.5 out of 10 for me, so not sure if I'd personally visit again, maybe if already in the area. I do recommend still giving them a try of your own. The aesthetic is nice. There is a private parking lot with handicap spots.

Twisted Biscuit review Fascinating place! We were looking for a breakfast place. After a little trouble finding a good local place that was not overcrowded or had enough seating, we came upon this place. The name is fun. The menu uses puns to name things and is quite clever. And the vibe was bubbly and very pleasant, overall. It was a busy Saturday morning and many people waiting but we, asa party of 4, were seated immediately. I am thinking they must have had several large parties waiting to be seated. As we are still on our week s getaway, if was Me, Wifey, youngest and MIL again. Order: Complete-O Burrito Caramel Apple pancakes You Had Me at Taco St. Louis Slinger Coffee Mimosa They have a lot of information on their unique type of coffee, which should indicate great coffee. MIL was not a fan. She switched to hot tea. The coffee drinkers, me and youngest, liked it - and Wifey, who is more of a sipper, said it was good for sipping, but not her normal preference and indicated it tasted pretty chicory to her. I thought the coffee had an interesting taste. It wasn't bold. It was distinctive. Again interesting and different. Yes, I said that twice. But, it was THAT different. I think it was good. But I really like it bold. Youngest thought it was very good. Both wifey and youngest enjoyed one Bellini Mimosas and both really liked them. MIL found the tea much more enjoyable than the coffee. I can understand her feelings about the coffee, as it was not a normal taste. Since the company was good, the wait wasn't bothersome, and with the place being as busy as it was, the food wait was understandable. St. Louis Slinger: good. Chili was not hot, but, everything tasted good. The omelette was good. Nothing outstanding, but solid. You had me at Taco: Good flavor, but, quite expensive for what you get. Youngest has had better and found these to be underwhelming, sadly. Complete-O Burrito: Burrito was very good. Salsa had a really nice flavor. Wifey liked it all. MIL thought the potatoes were too spicy. Wifey thought the side of eggs unusual, seeing there were eggs in the burrito but who would complain about extra eggs. Caramel Apple Pancake: big enough to split four ways. Reviews from all of us ranged from "I didn't like it" to "I thought it was delicious". So I guess we landed somewhere in the middle and an overall okay. Over-all, we gave 3-stars. If we had half-steps, we would have given 2 3's and 2 3.5's. Our server was prompt, efficient and worked hard. She was pleasant, but, a little hint, pause for a sec to see if there is a second request. So, 3.25 stars.

Wait staff was nice but waited over an hour for food and I sent mine back. Would not recommend unless you want to eat something that tastes like playdough. Ambiance was nice.

A friend and I wanted to do brunch today. We knew it would be busy with it being a holiday. We were sat within us walking in. We did have a smaller party compared to the majority. Our servers name was Elizabeth. Very friendly. I had a cup of their twisted Joe coffee- which is the underground reserve by Goshen. Very good. They give you another mug of creamer and coffee stirrers. I used only one cream and sugar. For food we both wanted something with eggs. She had the mind ya biscuit. It had seasoned potatoes, eggs how you want, and biscuits of course. I went with My big fat green brunch. Which had scrambled eggs, sausage, naan ( very good) with gravy, potatoes, and cheese. The other cup was what I think is a spicy kranch? The only little hiccup we had was wait time on food took long and k had to wipe my chair it had some chocolate or sauce on it. The price here is $15-up per plate so keep that in mind. There's ample parking and they have outside seating. There's other places around. So if you fancy a sweet head over to the cup for a cup cake. I would enjoy coming back again in the future.

My recent visit was to take part of Javapalooza being sponsored by Rivers and Routes Tourism Bureau. When it's warm outside, I enjoy my coffee iced. My go to is, Vanilla Honey Latte with whole milk. If you're having a latte, why not go whole hog and enjoy that whole milk. The rich fullness of whole milk, adds to the flavor. Looking at their pastry case, it was hard for me to choose. However, once my eyes saw the Pizza Scone, I wanted a savory treat over a sweet. The scone was full of flavor, but a little on the dry side. After a couple bites, the dryness did not bother me, because the flavor was so good. However, the people of Edwardsville still love Teaspoons, because it was packed. Things that disappointed me on my last visit that made me decide to take a star away: They are now serving Kaldi's Coffee a STL roaster. I think it is a shame that they are not supporting one of the many local roasters on the Illinois side of the river. Was disappointed that their iced coffee lids were not sip lids. I prefer them, because I am not a fan of straws. I know some people need or prefer straws, but I like the option of not using one. Save the Turtles. Biggest disappointment was my food. I ordered the Breakfast Platter. My scrambled eggs were fluffy and hot and made fresh. They were very good. The English Muffin was also good. It was obvious it was freshly toasted, because the whipped butter spread and melted easily. The disappointments were the bacon and potatoes. Both were cold and tough. It was obvious that both sides were prepared ahead of time. The bacon did have good flavor, but it was chewy and rubbery. My potatoes were on the burnt side of preparation and cold and chewy like the bacon. Damn, when I've ordered this before it was good, not this time. I will at least say, the service and customer service is still good and consistent with what I've had before. Which actually saved them from getting two stars.

Making it a great place to stop by when paying your property taxes, or when you're doing your jury duty. I'm glad to see that they are a proud server of Plaid Coffee. So many other shops use the same local roaster or one from St. Louis, so it is nice to see that they give us a Scottish touch roasted in small batches. I enjoyed an iced coffee. When I drink hot coffee, I drink it black. However, when it is iced, I need a little packet of Splenda and a splash of milk. To accompany my iced coffee, I enjoyed a Mini Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. I was torn between a blueberry danish, blueberry muffin and the mini bread. When I asked the cashier for guidance, he recommended the pumpkin bread because it was a seasonal special. He said, the other two were always available and could enjoy them on another visit. To be honest, the mini Pumpkin Bread with Chocolate Chips did not impress me. I found it to be dry and the pumpkin flavor was faint, but it was chuck full of chocolate chips. Next time I'm at the courthouse paying the next installment of property taxes, I'll stop by again and try one of the blueberry treats. I think I may even grab one of the loaves of bread they had on sale.
