We ordered a few apps to share and had: - Chips with Guacamole and Salsa: solid - Queso Fundido: I was excited for this as friends have said they liked it, but the cheese harden within minutes and it wasn't as nice - Street Style Esquites: I was expecting more corn rather than mixed in another cheese dip and likewise, the cheese harden quickly. - Shrimp cocktail: it was pretty heavy on the liquid rather than thicken, but good - 3 potato tacos: okay, wasn't expected it to be fried so it was a bit greasy but loved the slaw it came with - Southwest egg roll: not bad, was a crowd's favorite and I liked the sauce it came with We didn't realize most of the apps came with tortilla chips otherwise we may have ordered differently. I got the frozen margarita and it was a bit sweet, but nice for the summer evening. Our server wasn't super attentive, but was nice whenever they came around. There's a sampler entree platter I'd like to try, but of all the appetizers we tried, the best was probably the chips with guacamole and salsa.

It was smoky and juicy and so tender you cut it easily with a fork. The ribs were as good as the brisket. Smokey, juicy, fall clean off the bone. The had a real nice bark, but the meat was sooo tender. The meat all stands up on its own, but add some of their sauces and it's magic in your mouth. The Honey BBQ is top notch. The bread on the sandwich was tough, the bacon bits were chewy, hard knots, and the sandwich was dry overall. The sweet potato fries were greasy and tough and not hot. Nothing about what I ordered today was good with the exception of the appetizer, which was the Crisp Korean Brussels and Cauliflower. It was hot, delicious and plentiful so I did not go hungry. Our server was friendly and prompt. He was very quick to refill my drink. I will say that both my chair and our table rocked terribly, so was not very comfortable. Takes a while because it is cooked to order and it is worth it. The coleslaw, okra and hush puppies were excellent. The beans were very basic. They tasted like canned beans with a hint of spices added. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was mostly friendly, but very interested in each other and their phones. It did take some effort to get noticed by our server. The other servers definitely did not seem interested in checking in with us, so when our server disappeared for a while into the back so did our service. Certainly not a deal breaker, but not a good impression. I look forward to another visit. Hopefully, the service was just a one off.

We swapped our sandwich halves to get a taste of each and we both rolled our eyes in delight - both were fresh , very tasty and not over-stuffed, making them easier to eat! I asked a few questions and he was helpful and patient with me. I ordered the 6-inch tuna salad sandwich and it was ready within minutes. I couldn't stay and eat the sandwich there, but you best believe I devoured it in my car. It was absolutely delicious and wish I had gotten an 8-inch instead. I will definitely be back for more soon!
