We did our 6 yr olds birthday party there today and could not have been happier. The space is a total dream land for little kids and everyone had a fantastic time. They did an absolutely beautiful job with the birthday party and made our daughter feel very special, while also keeping everything easy and low-key. They were also a total breeze to feel with and very professional. Would highly recommend doing a birthday party there and definitely plan to do one for my son there. I gave 3 stars cause atleast my kids enjoyed playing here for the first time. Problem is place is too pricey for their play space. Its not that large also not too much to do. Its our first time here so we laid 25$ for 1 kids plus 10$ for the second kid and 5$ each adult which i paid for me and my husband. Also they have socks for sale for dollar each which i had to buy from them cause i forgot to cring one. So all in all we paid 42$ and we only stayed for and hour and half cause my kids got bored. Their grocery play area can be great if they have enough fruits and veggies on it, it has a ice cream spot but there were no ice cream toys to play with. But still the grocery area Is the only part of it that my kids loves the most. I had to sort out the fruits toys so that my kids can actually really enjoy playing it cause they dont have any stuff who can organize them. I only saw one person that manage the whole place. It was the lady who collect our payments. There bathroom doesnt lock when i used it was locked but someone opened it wothout knocking. Unsanitized toys and too much dust all over the place. But still they teied to keep it clean a little bit by letting customers play with socks. They have room for girls who can play dress up but sadly nothing will fit for 2 years old kids. They all cor grown ups. My kids enjoyed playing here but i dont think its worth the price. I probably wont take them back here anymore and just go somewhere else where adults dont have to pay for the entrance and a place where they have more clean and sanitized toys. read more

The kids will enjoy a variety activities while adults can enjoy separate eating/lounging areas, all the while not being considered about the kids running out on the street (there is a closely monitored gate, and a secondary heavy door to reduce the likelihood of a kids leaving unnoticed). read more

This place is soo cute! First time that I have gone it was with my daughter's school Creative Academy, I loved it my daughter loved it we had a blast in the cute little hair salon, grocery store I couldn't Ger enough of the gigantic balls we had to come back! If you need a place to drain the kiddies energy and you find yourself in Williamsburg definitely stop by! One of the best open play in NY. Great design and plenty of great fun. I should take a star off for the $$$$ price. $35 a day pass. The most expensive so far. Also during the day stuff do not clean the space. The toys are all over the place. In other places like that stuff clean and put toys back. Here they count on parents do do that. I think this is what supposed to be. You clean after your child. But we are in NY many people have no concern for others. Literally just finished my sons birthday here and it was top of mind to leave a review. I give the space 5 stars! It's an awesome setup for kids. However, I don't feel remotely enthusiastic about the staff or the way things are organized here. We were told we could arrive 10 min early to setup our dessert table (not enough time- but ok). We show up and they let us in 4:40 (5 min before the party started) and most of my guests were already walking through the door. I brought all my stuff for the dessert table and they wouldn't allow me to setup until about 30 min into the party( btw they charge $60 as a dessert table fee for bringing in your own sweets). So now I was running like a mad woman with a few friends to the back to rush the dessert table setup while more guests were showing up and I was no where to be found. Kids were running around asking for something to drink and the place wouldn't provide anything until the doors for the food opened up- which was over an hour into the party. I also paid $40 for unlimited soda and water and my guests were never directed to the soda fountain, no waters were put out near the food and everyone was thirsty and hot. Some of my guests were buying beverages from the vending machine-embarrassing! The girl who I dealt with, Liseth, wasn't very friendly. She was actually like this from the day I settled the bill. She did accommodate a few changes which was very nice of her but her personality is very dry. She seemed easily bothered and wasn't friendly at all. A few of my guests made comments about it. Considering this is a kids place, It might be a good idea to get friendlier people at the front desk. Overall, I wouldn't have another party here. It's a nice play place to spend a few hours but not to throw a party. Very unorganized. Could be phenomenal with structure and better staff. For the price they charge to have a party, everything should be seamless. read more

The private parties and poor info about them left my daughter crying on two seperate occasions. Looked at their website on a Saturday, called to clarify hours and their phone wasn't answering so walked over with my 4 year old and told they were closed for a private party. Told they close at 12 in the afternoon for private parties on weekends. Can you list this on your website please? Answer your phone? No. Try explaining a private party to a crying 4 or 5 year old why they can't go into a party while other kids are walking in and out. Nonetheless, we bought a five visit pass the following summer - because the playspace is so nice. All's well until they held a private party on a Thursday. Was not listed on their website or info e-mailed to me. would have avoided going that day if I knew, but was told of this upcoming party when we entered. So sometime later doors to an inner space open and kids for the private party are called. My daughter follows in so and I had to pull her out, and she's bawling. I get so frustrated and am screaming at the Twinkle Playspace's owner, who seems either not to get that there's a problem if my daughter bawling over this, doesn't care, or both? I had my son Frankie's 4th birthday here and this place is truly AMAZING ! They said the only thing I needed to do was show up and they would take care of the rest , and they weren't lying. They took care of everything ! They made sure everything came out perfect , were attentive , professional , and kid friendly staff. They made me feel so at ease I can't even put into words how happy I am with choosing them. The place was clean and EVERY SINGLE one of my guest had a fantastic time and were so impressed by this hidden treasure in Williamsburg. They were extremely organized and had everything under control down to collecting all the gifts and having them ready in two big bags for me to leave with. The kids weren't bored at all, and they were so entertained they literally had to be dragged out by Us Parents because they didn't want to leave . My friend had me meet her here on a recent trip to NYC. We're from out of town, and for those not from NYC, the best way to describe this space is a Children's Museum consolidated into a storefront. It has your standard Children's Museum play spaces - slides, dress up, pretend play, water play, sandbox, etc. The owners get major credit from me for apparently designing and creating the space themselves. And for that reason, it has a very unique, organic, special feel. It was great for my son to be able to run around and play, something that was hard to do during our visit to the city in December. Speaking with a nanny, she said it was best to come during the week as the weekends and breaks get crazy. I also love that the snack area doesn't require you to purchase their food, and the owner was quick to help point out good eats in the area. read more

Thought this was a really awesome space. So cute and creative my daughter and niece had a blast. It wasn't overly crowded when I went so I didn't have any issues with overcrowding . The best part is that it was so clean ! Checked my socks by the end of our visit after walking over the whole place and they were still white. Wish I had something similar in my area. We LOVE Twinkle. It is truly a unique space. We became members 4 months ago and take our 20 month old son there all the time. The staff is incredibly sweet and helpful. The creativity in the designs is amazing. There are so many different little areas to stimulate kids imagination and tire their energetic little bodies out. My only concern is that the rest of NYC seems to have found out about our neighborhood gem :) read more

If I could give a 1/2 start, I would. Parents please beware if your gonna bring your kids here. Kid friendly play areas suppose to be sanitize for toddlers. The bathroom here is absolutely filthy and disgusting. Took my kids here and my child had to use the bathroom omg there was nasty poop all over the toilet and the smell was absolutely horrendous. Make sure u bring disinfectant wipes or you may get a butt infection. Try to speak to the staffs but they just brushed me off. Oh come on kid friendly places should have a clean sanitize bathroom with no poop smell and poop on the toilet. Truthfully I don't find the ppl here to be friendly . read more

I think that this place verges on a children's museum. They have really thought of everything and it's an excellent place for all ages. My only complaint is that it would be nice if the 6 time pass lasted longer than 2 months (perhaps 6?) since it is so expensive and then it would accommodate those of us non-stay at home families. We come all the way from Queens to visit Twinkle. The staff was super kind about our expired pass and even extended it for 2 extra weeks so that I could use it for longer! Thank you! I brought my 3 year old son here and he had a good time. We went during the week so it felt like we had the place all to ourselves. The price is steep but i did not mind since my son really seemed to enjoyed it. My cousin's little girl was turning one and needed a place to hold her birthday party. I recommend Twinkle because it was such a cute space and she booked the party. All the party guests had a good time but the only black mark was the staff members working during the party. They did not look like that wanted to be there and was not pleasant. I have been to many other children's parties, and have hosted several parties myself, and the staff at the other venues seemed genuinely to enjoy their job and was always very pleasant to the children. These young women did not even crack a smile. It made me feel very unwelcome. I might recommend others to go to Twinkle during open play but will not recommend hosting a birthday party there. read more

Def bring your child here! It's costly, but worth it - even as just a once in awhile treat. I think kids 2+ really maximize it - maybe til 5. Children up to 6 are allowed but idk if it would hold a 5/6 yr olds interest as much. There is so much to do and it's so wonderfully put together and clean. after attending a friends birthday with my nephew he wanted nothing more than to come back for his own ! they have a huge space for kids to play in ! the castle was on of his favorite and the firetruck ! the staff was nothing but helpful and polite. there are a variety of rooms with themes: water, city life with fire engine, kiddie grocery store, beauty salon and a farm. plenty of tunnels and rope bridges that the kids went nuts for. they have dress up for the kids and a secret door from the party room ! read more

We had a princess birthday party at Twinkle and it was absolutely perfect for my little girl. The kids had tons of fun in the play room and both kids and adults were blown away by decoration in the party room. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with both before and during the party. All my guests loved the place and had so much fun, the staff was amazing and was so helpful and friendly to everyone. It is a great place ! My daughter enjoyed it so much..but..it was dirty restroom, the one with miniature potty toilet, it was really really dirty that i changed my mind to put my daughter on the seat. But the adult restroom was ok. AND... There was a drinks machine, we were out of the water and I was very thirsty running around chasing her...and eventhough there were 2 samples of bottled water in front of the machine but when I inserted my money in, all items in the machine was all sold out! Maybe only snacks... In the other place like bounce and play , they provided free water from water dispenser and they charged less money. And one more, the hand sanitizing machines also all were empty, so everything not really there even the machine are there.... But I really appreciated the playground , trampoline, water space, sandbox, slides, etc. We need this closer in our neighbourhood elmhurst grand ave queens, maybe the owner could open a branch? Our 4yo walks with leg braces and a walker, and he had a wonderful time there. The entrance is completely accessible, although there is a small staircase to get to the eating area. This staircase has a low railing for children on either side. Once in, accessibility is sort of a moot point, as naturally children like to climb, and narrow spaces, and there's plenty of that. The fact that adults can go anywhere children can go let's us give him the physical support even in the highest and narrowest nooks, so that he can get there and have fun. If climbing and small quarters aren't an option - and our son wasn't into it this trip - there is still plenty to do. He loved the fire truck (2 small steps up), the water table, and the grocery store - complete with conveyor belt and fake food. A small wheelchair might just make it, but be aware that at least half the playspace is a simulated bumpy terrain, with crash pads in the way, and even tiny hills. But most importantly, the staff was sensitive enough to let him in with his shoes because of the special circumstance. (A sensitive staff makes all the difference.) Thanks guys. (ETA: We plan to bring his 'indoor shoes' next time we go, which we didn't think of this time...) Planning to come back often with our one year old when our big kid is in school. 2 thumbs up. read more

our 2.5yo daughter loves this place. came for a birthday party and then separately for open play. very creative/interactive playspace that stimulates all kinds of movement and interaction. they offer different areas where play can be either quite physically demanding (climbing/sliding) or simply interactive (grocery store/fire truck). We would have visited more often (esp. during this winter), but found this place late in the season. perfect for winter/rainy days. staff is friendly. treat it like a playground and watch your kids. read more

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! There is everything and anything you can think of for your child to enjoy either at a play date or a birthday party! They have a grocery store, a sand pit, a fire truck that spits water, a salon, a tree house, a slide and more! The list goes on!!! It's impossible for your child to not have an awesome time! I went here today with my family. We went once last winter and had a good time. The place is very cute. However, this trip was a very bad experience and I think it is unsafe for kids. The place was at capacity and there were kids everywhere, to the point I kept seeing kids get bumped into or knocked over by other bigger kids. There was not enough staff there to supervise (not that they should be watching and taking care of kids, but at least keep an eye on things). The main problem was that I saw a bunch of kids pushing in an upstairs hidden area. I ran up there as my daughter had just climbed up there. Turns out there were about 8 - 10 kids BEATING each other up. Literally punching and kicking each other. I screamed at them but none of them seemed to care and their parents were no where to be found. I told the front desk and there was only 1 person there. She ran upstairs to take care of the situation. It was a pretty scary situation for me and especially my 3 year old daughter to see. I tried talking to the staff on the way out and they didn't seem to care too much. For paying $50 for 2 hours, this seemed like terrible service. We're not going back as it just seems really dangerous and we had a very unfun experience. read more
