My family comes to Arizona about 4-5 times a year from California. We have our favorites but we also like to try new places. Twin Peaks has easily become one of our favorites. The beers are deliciously cold and the tv's at the booths definitely make for a perfect Sunday of playoff football. Considering the crowd, the waitress-Brenna was great and attentive. I'm bummed to have to do this, I don't like giving negative reviews, & this is gonna hurt, but it's my experience & I hope the managers/ owners/ staff can take it in stride & make it constructive criticism. I ordered off of Grubhub last night around 7-7:30. I ordered the chicken fried steak w/ garlic mashed red potatoes, & asparagus. I also ordered a $6.99 adult Mac & cheese & 2 $.79 sides of white jalapeño gravy. The CFS was a pre packaged & frozen before it was cooked, beef patty. It was charred outside & grey inside. It was barely seasoned & hard to eat. The breading fell off which means they don't know the proper breading procedure, that's actually the name of it, not something I made up. It's easily accessible on the interne, cookshave been taught this by their family even. A truck stop diner makes a better one b/c everything was old. The breading had no flavor & the gravy had to have been 4-5 days old. It had been reduced so much there was zero moisture a very strange texture for gravy. A grey/ beige colored gravy w/ a very thick film over the top. The flavor perplexed me the most b/c I'm trying to figure out how it happened & what could make that flavor profile. It tasted like a tire fire. Hot melted rubber. Spatulas don't leave that kind of flavor unless it was a very big fire. Plastic hose? Why would that be near food? So the gravy was essentially melted tire flavored boba. Ruined my palate. i feel like I should've known when they charged $42 for a 14oz New York that was choice. Now, bbq was created in this country b/c white slave owners kept the best cuts for themselves & gave the slaves the ribs, feet, head & offal meat, (intestines, gizzards, heart, internal organs.) They found ways to cook these pieces of meat that created a new cuisine & made those cuts more desireable to the masses. That's why the ham hock flavored collard greens, another undesirable vegetable their captors didn't want. Is say all that to say, if you dont understand the basics of bbq you ain't cookin bbq. I know the managers/ Owners/ staff at Twin Peaks don't want this. The food I ate tonight. There's the internet & if you really want to brighten someone's day, call your grandma & ask her for recipes. Some of them were cooking before everything became so processed. Cutting corners gets you a molten tire flavored boba gravy. Cooking is close to my heart & I believe if you don't say something, it'll never improve. So that's my experience, I hope you make the criticism constructive. read more

I'm rather surprised to find out I haven't reviewed Twin Peaks Camelback yet? Hmmm.. Well it's a restaurant/sports bar, the food is good as is the 'view'! You see Twin Peaks is a double entendre- the servers are quite pretty in a Daisy Duke kind of way! And the food is good! The beer is kept at 28°F and there is a digital thermometer, easy to read, to verify that! I've been there several times to catch sports games on the many TVs and I've chatted with one of the Managers. One of the draught beer options is a 28oz ice cold mug! Generally I enjoy eating at twin peaks unfortunately today they blew it ... service was slow, lacked timing and was disjointed . I came in near shift change ( I have felt their shift change is always awkward) It was not busy 2 tables and a few at the high tops and 60% at the bar..... I stood at the hostess station quite a while (with staff walking past without acknowledgment) before the bartender came from behind the bar to ask if I had a takeout order? I did not , I asked for a table and she told me to take a seat anywhere and I choose a seat next to the only other table seated guests .... It took a while (10 minutes, I almost left but was starving) before staff came out to take a drink order i ordered a beer 22 oz and was halfway through before I could place my order of steak and broccoli with asparagus instead of potato's . By the time my food came I had no beer no water and my wait staff had changed (without introduction or explanation, although I knew what happened from past experience) I will point out that my second server did pick up the pace as well as the attention.... She did ask how my meal was and I pointed out that the vegetables were cold (only warm under the steak literally refrigerated cold at center) and she said she would tell the manager ..... one would expect that the manager would at least stop by my table and apologize ....nope no where to be seen .... Never showed .... Steak was good but veggies stone cold , kept waiting with empty glass to order next round waiting to be acknowledged and seated, waited to order, first staff took order and never seen again and second was attentive but timing off ... previously I have had good to great service (at the same general time ) hopefully things get better read more

The server was nice. She was quick to deliver my beer and shot, both of which were quite tasty. She asked if I wanted to order food. I was in a booth and had requested the Braves-Diamondbacks baseball game be put up on the tv right in front of me. I waited about 20 minutes for the game to be put up as I was listening to the radio feed. Keep in mind, the Diamondbacks are the LOCAL team. I kept waiting and waiting. The servers all always very friendly. The food is standard (and I mean this as a compliment because some restaurants over complicate basic menus) and it's always good. This is a good place to grab a bite and catch a game. However I will say it takes a REALLY long time to get bar drinks if you are at a table. In fact, on 2 visits, our food came before the first round of drinks. If the service wasn't so friendly and food tasty I would not go back because of this. These days in most restaurants/bars, the servers often act as if they could care less if you are there, but not at Twin Peaks, they are all friendly. read more

Great bar and restaurant. We really enjoy coming here. I would actually say that the only downside is what most people probably enjoy. I really don't like the revealing outfits the girls are all required to wear. It's even a bit uncomfortable watching a bunch of old men eye effing the young girls lmao. This place has always been a favorite. First off, you'll never find a place with colder beer- love it. The beer is amazing with how frosty it gets from the coldness. The beer alone is worth coming here for. In terms of the food, I still have not had a bad dish. Everything is very good- great flavor, perfect portions, and always the perfect temperature. The Pulled Pork Nachos (with BBQ sauce) is my personal favorite. The setting is pretty cool with TVs every where and pretty servers in skimpy outfits (if that's your thing lol). It's almost 2020. It feels a little weird to see waitresses that are still required to wear short shorts and tight crop tops as a uniform. Come on, really? The happy hour special are good and the Bloody Mary I had was excellent! Unfortunately, all of our burgers/sandwiches were disappointing. The beef was very bland and overdone; the flavors between all burgers was identical even though we ordered different ones. Lots of TVs and beer make it a good place to watch a game. It is huge inside. TVs everywhere. Tiger had just won The Masters and the place was kinda empty. The host sat us immediately and took our drink orders. They informed us of the happy hour drinks and appetizers. It was around 5pm on a Sunday. Happy hour? We'll take it. $5.99 Margarita. We ordered an appetizer, guacamole and chips. Very good. The chips were lightly salted and thin crispy mexican style. The guac was plentiful and thick. I ordered korean volano wings. Nice and tingly and scoville-rated pretty hot. The nashville hot wasn't that hot. Since i ordered 12 they split the flavors,6&6 all flats! (Bonus) My girlfiend ordered a burger and it canout quick but under cooked. No problem. We're in the area for a wedding and were looking up menus on Yelp near Frost gelato (I tend to prioritize dessert lol). I was instantly drawn to the large number of options appealing to every member of our group. We came on a Sunday evening during football season, and I have to say, this would be a great spot to catch a game with all the TVs! My husband and I split bone-in breaded wings (you have the option of grilled or breaded for bone-in, along with boneless as well). We got 1/2 spicy garlic and 1/2 classic buffalo. They were some of the best wings we've ever had! Very crispy and flavorful. There are tons of sauce options to choose from. We also split an order of fried pickles, which come sliced, hot, and crispy with a side of ranch. They were amazing. Loved the seasonings used in the breading, and it's obvious they don't come frozen. The only reason I'm giving four stars is the service. Our server didn't drop our food off to us (which I understand is common), and she didn't ask how our food was until we were almost finished. We also waited quite awhile for our check after finishing our food. But overall, great food, and a great place to watch any game! read more

Although the food is good, the last few times I've been the service is extremely slow. I've ordered online, and I arrive at or after the time the food is set to be ready, and I still have to wait 20-30 mins. Usually when I order online it's a salad, and I am on my lunch break, so I would expect the order to be ready by the time it says it will, and a lot of the times, they still forget the dressing for the salad. The slow service is not just for online orders though, l've dined in on multiple occasions, different days and different times of day, even when the restaurant is close to empty. My party of two will finish our food in 30 mins, but we end up being at the restaurant for 2 hours due to having to wait for our waitress. The girls will either ignore our table or just simple take way too long, even for a busy day. I love eating here but it's impractical to be waiting a ridiculous amount of time. read more

My friends and I came here for lunch yesterday and boy was I shocked. Upon arrival, there was no sign, for this location at least, where the front door was and luckily one of the ladies walked out as we walked in and let us know to sit wherever (even though there was a sign on the patio that said wait to be seated). I was not expecting the outfits, maybe naïve of me but still. I ordered beer while my friends ordered mixed drinks, I can only speak for myself but my beer didn't feel as cold as Twin Peaks advertised. Had my first ever Twin Peaks experience for some UFC fights. The place was pretty packed as was expected but thankfully I was by myself so it was easy to find a spot to sit. Service was excellent. I think everyone on the staff did a wonderful job of handling the absolute madness during the fights. I was never left unattended. Server asked me plenty of times how I was doing. I had a steak, some dessert and a drink. It's a sports bar, their steak isn't going to reinvent the wheel or knock your socks off but it was good. Dessert was great.
