It's always friendly and attentive, and the gentleman who works the front of house is probably the nicest guy you'll ever meet. Second, the prices are amazing especially for this day and age. No, it's probably not the most authentic Chinese food you'll have but when you're craving the basics this place will more than get the job done. Be sure to check their hours. I have loved Chinese dumplings since I was a little kid. To this day they are one of my favorite foods on the planet. Twin Dragon makes their own dumplings in house and they are fantastic! The rest of the food is good too but I come here mostly for the dumplings and the super sweet family that runs the show. I love this Chinese restaurant. It has been a family owned business ever since I was a very small child. My parents would take us out there to eat every Saturday night. Till this day, generation by generation the food still taste the same.....amazing. The prices are always good and you get rather big portions for what you order. This was my mom's go to staple when she was craving real Chinese food. She since passed away but to this day we keep the tradition going and get the same meals she use to buy. There are 3 important issues when dining out. 1. Quality of food 2. Quality of service 3. Presentation of food/cleanliness Of the three issues this restaurant missed two. The quality of food was poor as the Pot stickers we had were cooked wrong and they were rubbery. We threw 8 of the 12 away. The rice was over cooked. One of our entrees (Marfar chicken) was inedible and was thrown away. Even after this there was still a chance of trying them again. After we ate what we could we called the restaurant and asked for some of our money to be credited or returned and after hearing our list of complaints the response given was "well, I guess we won't be your first choice for restaurant then". That type of customer service cannot be forgiven and is the reason we cannot return to this place. I am in the business myself and I am not saying I am perfect but I would never even consider that type of answer for any guests complaint. So much so that once or twice we've gone by for dinner (not open for lunch) and they've been closed for family reasons. But their service is great, extremely down to earth and friendly and fun. The food comes out quick and we haven't been disappointed. We now have our favorites to get every time. The chinese style chicken chow mein and chicken and chive pot stickers are the best! Extremely disappointed in food. Paid over $50 for take-out only to come home and find that it was completely inedible. Chicken was dried out, like several day-old chicken. Broccoli beef was grey in color and slimy. Called and spoke to manager Chris, who took the complaint personally and asked if we were "threatening him" when we said that we would put a review on yelp if he could not help us and then promptly hung up on us. Portions were generous, food was authentic and tasty. Added bonus was service was on point with friendly attentive staff. The homemade hot oil was spicy and super great especially if you love spicy as much as I do. Next time would have added the black mushrooms to this dish to give it some more veggies perhaps, but we are also looking to frequent it again to try out other items on the menu. It is a tinier place than what we're used to in a Chinese restaurant but it was cozy and inviting. i got this food last night and me oh my was it a whirl wind, i did take out and when i looked in the bag the box to my pork was wide open and same with another thing i ordered, but that's not the only strange thing i asked for sause with my pork and i got a large box of sause not in little sause cups but in one big chinese food takeout box! who needs that much sause!! then when eating my food it didn't taste amazing i thought it was to greasy for my liking. later in the night me and my mom (we both ate the food) felt a little ill and pukey so the night goes on and everyone's asleep except i felt so sick but only in my stomach and i felt the sudden urge to throw up... i think you know what happens after that. so i wouldn't eat here again because i got sick nor would i recommend but judging by other reviews this might have just been a one read more

People were nice. However the food was not. We got the #7 combo, orange ginger chicken, and an egg roll. All the chicken was way overcooked. Not just slightly it was so bad I couldn't finish it and will have to just give it to the dogs because I don't like to waste food. The orange chicken was even worse then the sweet and sour chicken. I could only eat one piece of that. The breading on the shrimp was good and those had a few not over cooked so that wasn't as bad but still same issue. The egg roll was more of a burrito. It was crazy huge and full of celery which is just my personal opinion but I don't like celery and was expecting smaller egg rolls with more flavor. The chow mein was not as bad but it was also full of celery and what seemed like a pack of frozen veggies. Your overall happiness with the food served here will depend on what your experiences are with Chinese food and what your personal tastes are. This was my first visit. I have been fortunate to have had some really amazing food in my life. If you're a restaurant goer, I don't know if this food is going to satisfy a palette that seeks flavor with a punch. We ordered potstickers to start. But they didn't come out until after we all had our entrées. The potstickers were supposed to be chicken and cabbage but they were really unseasoned giant chicken meatballs inside of a very thick wrapping. Cabbage? Barely. The dipping sauce was highly acidic and sour. My daughter ordered a fresh vegetable fried rice. The rice was flavorful, had nice green vegetables. It didn't stick together. It was very good. The egg drop soup was a broth of blandness. I put in some soy sauce and then it was just a soy sauce flavored soup. Nothing green in it. Little bits of something crunchy. The three of us all tried some and then let the waitress take it away. The "pork fried rice" served with my combination meal was gooey, pasty, and bland, with four or five little pieces of dried out pork in it. No peas or carrots, like you usually find. It was probably made in a big batch and let to sit in a rice cooker. Just my impression. It didn't taste fresh. I could taste old rice. My husband said it "tastes like wheat". I also had pork chow mein on top of soft noodles. Have you ever had Chinese food that looks and tastes a lot like La Choy in a can? That's what I experienced. The sauce was pretty much unsalted thin chicken stock with corn starch. Bean sprouts were fresh. The sweet and sour pork was really good! Crispy, with a nice basic sauce. My husband had the pineapple chicken. It was basically sweet and sour chicken with some pineapple in it. It was also good, but he loves pineapple chicken and often the sauce is a yellowish pineapple sauce, so he was disappointed. So breaded deep fried meat with sweet-and-sour sauce, they're doing a great job. I was getting upset at the meal. I didn't want to eat it. I ate my 4 pieces of pork. I was not going to say anything. Mainly because I read a review that said when somebody complained about their meal they were treated extremely rudely. But our server was very friendly so I took a chance. When when I asked her about the extremely sour potsticker sauce, she changed in demeanor. She said that "everything here is made from scratch and you're going to find things here that you won't find at another restaurant". I was as polite as I could be when I let her know that regardless of the bland and unappealing flavor, it didn't taste fresh. She repeated her previous statement, and added "Well, were not gonna make everyone happy". No offer to remake or replace the poor food. No attempt to resolve the issue. And she didn't seem at all surprised at my displeasure. Tells you something about how often they may receive this same feedback. I won't be returning, ever. Even for the food I enjoyed. Bad food, bad customer satisfaction efforts, bad review. What else can I say? Give it a try if you like run of the mill Chinese offerings. But be wary. There are WAY better places to eat in Eugene. Far and away the best Chinese food in the Eugene area. And after living in Portland for a few years, it's honestly my favorite in Oregon. The Chicken and Cabbage potstickers are a recommended starter. The "meatiest" potsticker that you'll ever have. The Mar Far Chicken with a side of Sweet and Sour trumps any sort of Popcorn Chicken that you've had to date. The Chinese Style Lo Mein with Chicken is my go-to. The food, on the other hand, not a fan. I pride myself in being a pot sticker connoisseur and it is my favorite dish to try at various locales...but these pot stickers (chicken and chive) had an odd, bulky texture and an odd flavor. The pork fried rice smelled almost musty and tasted similar. The chicken chow mein was actually decent, but I was turned off by my other foods already and it marred my experience with the chow mein.
