We recently finished a full house renovation with Twenty9. The entire team there is incredible. We worked with Sean, Denise, Nicole, Gayle, Mariela and our amazing project manager, Jose. We had a huge list of changes we wanted. Twenty9 put us in touch with contacts at all their vendors. Their proposal was fair, and left options for us to remain within our budget. All in all, this huge job was completed in a few months. We've recommended them to family, neighbors and friends who have also contracted with them. Here are several photos, including a few "before" photos. Thank you, Twenty9!! Our new home is just beautiful! read more

We recently hired Twenty9 for a renovation project, including gutting and remodeling all three of our bathrooms and redoing our floors. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. They were transparent about costs, stayed within our agreed budget, and there were no surprise add-ons or hidden fees, which we really appreciated. Even with the scope of the project, they finished everything on time. The communication was great, the crew was respectful and professional, and the quality of work speaks for itself. We're thrilled with how everything turned out and will absolutely use them again for future projects. Notable mention to Nicole from the team- she's the absolute best! If you're looking for a reliable contractor who delivers on what they promise, we highly recommend and will be using them for our sunroom, kitchen and basement in the near future! read more

Due to some work done by a previous contractor, we had several substantial cracks in the drywall in our primary bath. We decided to tile the walls and contacted Twenty9. We live in a condo, and they coordinated everything with our management office without us needing to do anything. The majority of the workers were fabulous and did excellent work. They arrived on time daily, and the project was completed in a timely manner. The team is very professional and answered all of our questions and provided assistance as needed. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will use them again for future projects. read more

We have used Twenty9 for many remodeling projects over the years. They just remodeled our kitchen which has made a huge difference in functionality and it looks great. A few years back, they did an outstanding job in designing and building our All Seasons SunRoom which transformed our living space. Prior to that, they did other projects like adding hardwood flooring throughout our upstairs, redesigned our staircases, added new closet area for our kids etc.. What is nice about Twenty9 is they do what they say they will do and they are eager to please. Simply, we trust them for any project in our home. Jody & David Melinger read more

We've had a VERY positive experience with our kitchen remodel with these guys! The project included detailed architectural drawings based on our ideas. The team (demo, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc) were skilled, courteous and professional. Our project manager (Frank) was way on top of things. Communication with the office was outstanding. Most importantly, the kitchen is gorgeous! Highly, highly recommended! read more

Twenty9, Inc - a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and bathtub - General Contractors Near Me - Highland Park, Illinois

Amazing quality contractor for my townhome renovation project! Sean and his team are professional and kind. I had most of the inspiration photos in mind but he had a wonderful designer named Denise that gave great advice including putting a quartz slab on the shower seat instead of all tile and going with me to every store to make sure I was happy with the selections. The real reason we went with them is because he has a team and barely subcontracts unless necessary. You don't have to worry about the painter coming late or the tile guy giving you attitude because he knows them well, are on salary, and they do a great job. They have an office where you can always get a hold of someone to ask questions or give payment efficiently. Anytime work was being done in our home (especially with a new baby) the guys were kind and hardworking. There are always delays and set backs with a new home renovation that I'm used to and isn't there fault but they were good at giving updates and doing what they could to mediate the issue. I'm am so happy with the quality of work and since I got to be the lead in designing my dream home it felt like a true labor of love with a team that I could trust that could do the job. read more

In December of 2018 we had a house fire and hired Sean and Twenty9 to put our home together. Our family had to move out of our house and the for an unspecified period of time until it was ready. During that period the entire house and every single content was unpacked and taken out. Sean and his team worked diligently and directly with our insurance company to detail work and actual cost versus the insurance company estimates and built cases for additional funds Sean and his crew led by Alfred did a remarkable and even heroic job in getting us back in our house in 5 months. During that period we had to redo virtually every room in the house. Sean and his crew were at the house every single day with an agenda and outline. They were organized, always accessible, always returned calls and texts, and picked up the phone. They were attentive to our needs, the workers paid close attention to detail and the work was excellent. The work consisted of new hardwood floors, painting, crown molding, drywall, new fireplace, we had them build out a huge storage room into an office, we had our master bathroom redone, new lighting throughout the house, new hardwood stairs installed upstairs, renovated kitchen and much more. There are so many contractor horror stories out there but I can tell you firsthand that from day 1 until the final day which consisted of punchlist items, Sean, Alfred and Twenty9 were outstanding and true helped us get through this miserable period of our lives. read more

Sean and his team at Twenty9, Inc FAR exceeded our expectations. We moved to our new home in May and they started right away on our primary bedroom and bath remodel. They helped with ideas, design, cost optimization and more! Throughout our renovations we decided to add to the project and tweak a few things and Sean and his team stepped right up to the challenge and the timeline was barely changed. Our project manager, Mario, made the experience enjoyable and stress free. He was transparent with timing and pricing along the way. Every worker that came through to help with the project was clean, respectful and enjoyable to be around. I couldn't recommend Twenty9 Inc more! They are FANTASTIC and we look forward to working with them for future projects! read more

What a fantastic company. We had a house fire and this team worked as if it were their own home they were trying to get back into. Every worker was professional. The project leader Alfred was reliable, and the owner Sean delivers on his work. We felt that each day progress was made - it is so unusual to find a company like this! And even since the project was finished, if we have had any questions, Sean and Alfred are available and responsive. read more

Sean and his team are amazing. Twenty9, Inc. recently remodeled three bathrooms in our 1940 fixer-upper home. From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations. Every effort was made to do things right the first time and stay on budget. At the beginning of the project, we were given a detailed estimate so we knew exactly what was included within the scope of the project. Having done so much work on older homes like ours, the estimate was shockingly accurate. Our only overages were completely my fault...I just couldn't resist the marble counter tops:) Sean was incredibly helpful in making our selections and used his buying power and influence with vendors to get us the best possible pricing. Before demolition, Sean met with his crew in my home and recorded a video in English and Spanish reviewing every detail of the project in order to prevent mistakes. Both Sean and the project manager, Ken, were always reachable and often physically checking on the progress of our project. I actually loved having the crew in the house. They were super respectful, nice to my pet and kids, and I miss the hum of them singing upstairs. The end result was three gorgeous bathrooms that cost exactly what we had expected. I have been a home owner for nearly twenty years and remodeled several kitchens and bathrooms. My experience with Twenty9, Inc was by far the best. The quality of the work was excellent, the price was fair, and there were no surprises. I can't wait to do our next project with Twenty9. read more

Last year we hired Twenty9 to do an addition to our house and update the master bathroom. We couldn't be happier with everything they did. We were so happy we decided to update our kitchen as well, hardwood floors, new garage door, and a bit more. Sean is thorough and professional, and very honest and direct. He oversaw all the work. 29's work crews were equally professional, and their work was great. If you have a project that you want done professionally, on time and remarkable, give them a call. read more

We hired Sean and Twenty9 Inc to remodel the second floor of our home. In spite of the shelter at home they were able to keep working and barely missed a day. Our team was led by "uncle Bob" who rose to every challenge that was thrown his way and was able to finish the job in a seamless and timely fashion. They even had some of there drivers help us move our furniture back in and place it. I cant say enough positive things about working with everyone at Twenty9. THANK YOU to the entire Twenty9 family for your patience and dedication to making our dreams come true. read more

Sean and his crews are amazing. They deliver what they promise and meet their deadlines. They are professional and each crew member is skilled in specific aspects of the project. Sean always responds to questions and concerns. He and the company are great with City and Condo requirements and they appreciate the need for good communication -- with everyone involved. Shelley M. Twenty 9 Inc. just completed my master bathroom renovation. Sean's team is a group of skilled employees who are also very respectful and trustworthy. They also arrived to work on time each day. There was always good communication amongst the employees, the project manager and Sean. They understand the constraints of condo living. His crew always cleaned up the area in which they worked. The project was finished when Sean said it would be and the cost was what his estimate was. My husband and I are enjoying our new room. Sean and his team were recommended by a trusted real estate friend who had used him before for a bathroom renovation and were pleased with the results. We were looking to renovate 2.5 baths and have all new copper supply lines for water installed in the house to replace old galvanized plumbing. We contacted Sean and had him come out to bid and we immediately felt comfortable with him and liked him. One selling point for us was Sean's quote process; it is very detailed including line item pricing details of what is included and what is not included. With other contractor's quotes, we got a final price which left me thinking 'what exactly am I getting?'. Not with Sean. We knew there might be some changes or overages that may come but I was much more comfortable with Sean's estimates than the other contractors. The craftsman Sean sent in were very detailed and the finish quality of the work was great. The workers always made sure each morning that we were happy with the results from the day before. As with any construction project, there were items that came up that needed extra attention but Sean stands behind his company's work and was always responsive and willing to send someone out to take a look. There were also delays which were the fault of some of the suppliers and the inspector - not the fault of Sean. When I read a review what I want to know is 'would you use them again?' The answer to that question is yes - we are very happy with the work that was completed. We were first time renovators and were unsure of what to expect - we feel we are more prepared after this project of what to expect and what to ask for - Sean was very understanding throughout the entire process and answered any questions we had. read more
