Tweedy's is a whole vibe. It's a staple for an easy-going, no fuss, no frills hang out that the whole crew can appreciate. Indoors (air conditioned!) and outdoors spaces, dog-friendly, and lots of great food options, especially for vegans with Lil' Nonna's pizza and Zucchini Kill Bakery's sweets and treats. The bar itself, though, and despite the kind bartenders, is not my favorite. I'd pass on the cocktails and stick with bottled beer at most. read more

Cool outdoor spot by the university. There are a lot of food trucks to choose from. The spicy Indian chicken place was really good. The beer selection was also pretty good. Not many places have Carlsberg around here. The bum walking around and sitting in multiple spots questionable. Other than that a good spot that's close by a walkable neighborhood. read more

Cool spot! Came to support my friends boyfriend. I've never been here. They've got a few food trucks to choose from, lots of outdoor seating and fans!! Parking wasn't the easiest but for the area, make sense. There's 2 bars, service is decent. This specific event was open bar. Giving dive bar scene but very eclectic! read more

Oh how I dig this place. It's got the quintessential old school Austin vibe flying high. Probably one of my fave places to see live music. Li'l Nonna's being parked out front is a supreme bonus and same can be said for Zucchini Kill Bakery located on the property. Straight up proper vibes with a slew of groovy patrons, performers, and employees. It's like family. Prices are reasonable and the drinks are amazeballs!! read more

Came here with my dog to meet a girl. I will definitely not be seeing that girl again, but I really like the vibes here and I definitely can see myself coming here again. The drinks are decent priced (thx for having coors light yall) but for me the big catch is all the seating outside, and how unique, COLORFUL, and fun the patio is. I like how there's several different nooks and corners, and there's various options of seating--regarding the physical chairs and tables themselves. Good place to people watch because I was expecting it to just be a bunch of fucking college ass kids, but there is a wide selection of people and I fuck with that. My dog took his spot on the stage because he is in fact the star of the whole world. I loved all the plants and the green and how there was a bunch of food trucks right next-door. I was worried about parking but there was pleNTY of free street parking--slay !! While I will not be linking with that girl again , my dog and I will def be returning to tweedy. I came here for a drink and to chill on a Sunday afternoon. I got a delicious spicy margarita and Zucchini Kills waffle cream pie. Both were delicious. There are plenty of places to relax inside or outside. You have other options for food and Zucchini Kill bakery store on site. Parking is on the street and can be challenging depending when you go. Old man at the bar, short short hair, I've came here multiple times and he has the worst attitude, looks like he hates his life and everyone who comes in. Rolls his eyes at the most slightest inconvenience. Makes me not wanna come back. Came back got served by home again still acts like we're a burden. Horrible service. read more

I want to make this clear before I start. I'm a very respectful person, I understand having a rough day, and I don't care for great customer service however, there's a big difference between just doing your job versus going out of your way to be rude. These two did the former Both girls were EXTREMELY rude. I'm unsure if it was racism, but asking a simple question (about my drink being made) led to the one on the left being very much hostile. The one on the right isn't better at all completely co-signed her coworkers actions. If you are not a people's person (which they were with white people btw) don't be a bartender. Asking the one on the left " Is this my drink?" Shouldn't be met with " Well did you order this!?!" A simple yes or no would've sufficed. If it's not in your heart to answer SIMPLE questions from people who are making your ends meet, work somewhere else. Never going back here. read more

Cozy, lowkey spot with street parking in the back. On the edge of campus off Guad. Clientele is mostly students (surprise) but we were able to grab a quick drink on our way to dinner. Server was friendly and made conversation. Spacious inside, at least when we went on a Thursday night. Reminiscent of the good ol Spider House days. read more

Beautiful bar! Spacious patio with beautiful lighting. The bartender is splendid and knowledgeable about the drinks. Their happy hour is 3-6 pm. Although they don't have food there is a food truck that comes on the weekends, which I am looking forward to trying! Service needs to get better. The old bartender with a five o clock shadow refused to take our order at the outside ordering area until we waited 15 min +. When he did come up and I asked if we could order here he said "there are menus here right?" He was very rude. It sucks because the ambiance of this bar is great but he ruined the experience. I hope they can move on from him. Everyone else here was youthful but he was terrible and did not fit the vibe at all. When leaving, we saw him talking to some patrons negatively about customers. Definitely not someone you would like working at a bar with young drinkers or college kids. I would've liked to order more drinks but the experience caused by him made my entire group uneasy. Edit: I see he has been complained about quite a bit before (Ty) but ownership hasn't done anything. It's a shame because without him, this would be my favorite bar in the area. read more

It was a rainy overcast day in Austin but Tweedy's features both indoor and outdoor seating (both covered and uncovered). Its outdoor seating has a tiered /graded style which makes it fun for people watching. Flanked by counter culture and zucchini kills for eats you really can't go wrong. Complex frozen cocktails and a oh so solid Sazerac. They are dog friendly and have a poop bag station for all your canine needs. Tweedy's is making the short list. read more

Such a cool bar location! Very comfy and cute and laid back! Our bartender was so accommodating and made me and my maid of honor espresso martinis even though their machine was turned off for the night! If we make it back to Austin another time, we will definitely be visiting this location again!! read more

I see people complaining about the rude bartenders and couldn't agree more. The dude with a beard and the dark haired girl both suck. I've actually never left a yelp review but they were SO bad that I had to. I heard the girl tell a group ordering to get their IDs then she said "hurry my arms are tired from reaching." Just one example of the many horrific interactions I witnessed that night. It really is a shame because it's such a cool vibe. Never going back.
