Same experience as Katie A. This place was an absolute mess when I got there at 3pm on 9/8/24. I approached the counter and no one acknowledged my presence. After standing there for about 7 mins, a young lady came to the counter and she stood there and didn't say a word. When she did, she spoke so quietly I had to ask her to speak up. She found me in the iPad and off she went. There was no discussion about how things work or what I should expect. I waited and another guy approached and he didn't say a word. The girl that helped before approached a few mins later and asked me to sit in a chair that was closest to the door and facing the back of the studio. Problem with that is I could not see what I was tracing. She apologized for that but off she went. There were many open spaces further in the studio. I tried to trace my image and it was lame at best. But, I powered on. When I was done, I sat there for 15 mins and as I didn't know what to expect next. Got tired of waiting, I went to the counter where the first girl was checking someone out. As I stood there 3 other folks went behind the counter. None of them asked what I needed. Then the first girl got done with the folks in front of me and she turned away and got into conversation with the others that were there. I waited for about 5 mins before I interrupted and asked if someone was going to show me the next step. Another girl said "for what", I said "she should know". The original girl walked away. Now someone else takes me to go to teach me how to use the gun. I do a 7 min lesson and am sent on my own. This was ok, but I think TuTugether needs to think about making space for rethreading the gun. I had on shorts and sat that gun in my lap. I got poked while threading. Today, I'm at a doc office getting a tetanus shot. There is no room on those tables to retread. And that thing is sharp. I know I signed a waiver but it's your job to make sure people know all the dangers of that gun. I want to do it again but not there. The only person who gave me any attention and tried to make the experience decent was the girl with pink hair. Otherwise... very disappointing and expensive! $100 and the checkout system the nerve to asked for a tip. SMH read more

Best place to celebrate im AZ. Made rugs for the family and came out awesome. Will def be coming back with more friends and family

Had a great experience great customer service as well. Well recommended. Bring your family your partner don't matter fits the vibe

I came here on a date and we each made our own rug. The explanation was done in 2-5 minutes and left us confused and they did not come help when we asked, very expensive for a very very small rug. Would not return read more

yesterday i had a reservation. my friends and I were not attended to for over 40min being there at the set appointment time. Not only that but the staff forgot about us and by the time we had our rugs trimmed we had been waiting over 45 minutes. The cashier was also rude. read more

What an epic experience for the kids! They got their hands dirty and created some seriously dope tufting masterpieces. The staff were super chill and made the whole vibe totally awesome. read more

I came here with my friend multiple times because we weren't able to finish our rugs the first or second time, the first time the service was great and the staff member was very nice, but when we went back a second time to finish our rugs the staff was very rude. I told her that I was finished and she kept saying that I wasn't because if she dug her fingers through it you could she the thing underneath. I fixed it and I said I was done once again and she said the same thing. This happened about 3 more times before she finally said I was done after my friend's dad had to insist that I was in fact done and that it was my rug not hers. Also, when I was asking for help because something was wrong with my tufting gun it seemed like she adjusted the speed of the gun too high, because after she helped me it was much faster. The 2 other people that were with me also saw it so I wasn't imagining things. When we came here the first time the boy that was helping us politely stated that if my friend wanted she could add a second row on the outline so that it would be easier to shave, but that she didn't have to. When we came here the second time the lady rudely insisted that both of us HAD to do a second outline and that my friend had to add a background. I'm pretty sure that she just said that to make her job easier. This doesn't make sense because the first guy that helped us said it was fine. I'm convinced that the girl who was helping us the second time didn't care about the extra effort my friend had to put in and only cared about how easy it was for her. Overall the female staff was very rude and not helpful, but making the rugs was fun and I look forward to the finished product (we have to go back a third time to pick it up). read more

I initially set an appt for my teen son and I to each do a small rug but based on how busy they were I opted out of doing one. They probably could have used one more person to be available to help but overall when my son had a question they were there to answer it and provide assistance when needed. My son enjoyed the process of tufting, and learning a new skill. We also wanted to do the pouring activity but we had a flight the following day and i had concerns with it bring fully dried. Overall it was a great experience and the next time ill make sure i have the time to also participate. read more

It seemed like something fun to do on our trip from Alaska to Arizona but when we got there, they were fully booked though their website stated there was no need to make a reservation if it was on a week day (we went in on a Monday). I would have just made a reservation to be on the safe side but they don't even have a scheduling link or anything which I thought was odd. That would help a lot with booking rather than having to call. I couldn't even call anyways because they were closed when I went to call. Oh well! read more

I loved the idea of this place for a date night and was very excited walking in just to be greeted by a 20 min wait by the counter where nobody said they were on their way or anything. After waiting for a bit I asked and was rudely told to wait longer., but I can understand if they were busy or had a difficult day so I continued to wait patiently. Then was finally helped by a women who was on the phone with her friend with airpods in the entire time helping us giving little to no guidance on what to do or next steps to take. At this point I was just happy to be there and was looking forward to the rug. Then waited even longer for someone to give us a 2 min frantic walkthrough of what we are supposed to do and left to figure the rest of it out ourselves. After starting me and my girlfriend could not figure out why our yarn wasn't working the same as the demo or people around us so we asked employees multiple times and was told it's fine and given no more instructions on things we could do to make it better. After pushing through for more than half the rug, the costumer next to us advised us to switch tufting guns because that one was getting jammed and ripping the yarn. After switching guns it fixed most of our problems but most of the rug was already done and messed up. Overall really cool idea but for the price I payed to be there I felt like I should have gotten more guidance on how to make my rug turn out a little better and am just disappointed with the experience overall. read more

Short review: Clogged piping bags with melting cream that couldn't hold shape, most piping bags had little cream, zero instructions, half of the charms were out of stock, flimsy/weak phone cases which means if you were to drop your phone then the charms would come flying off, understaffed, unorganized, expensive, but me and my friend had fun. However, I wouldn't come here again. Long review: I came here with my friend to make decoden phone cases for each other for the first time but we were seated and left alone without any instructions other than gathering charms to use. And before I could say anything the only employee they had working at the time began helping someone else. I also wish they let us know that half their charms were out of stock so we could reschedule or cancel our reservation, but because we aren't from here we couldn't let the long trip go to waste. The cream in the piping bags were all hardened and we had to squeeze and poke holes through the tips to get them out, and what's even worse was that the cream was too soft so it couldn't even hold the shape of the piping tip. This meant that whenever we would squeeze the cream out to make ribbons or other designs, they would come out as blobs of color despite having decorating tips. Most of the piping bags were almost empty as well! Halfway through our decorating, two people came in and a different employee that began their shift tells them to tape up the sides of the phone case so the cream wouldn't block any holes and it would've been nice to have been told that before we started. After, a family comes inside and a different employee begins instructing them to untie the top of the piping bag and take it out (the piping bags are double bagged) to allow easier decorating and honestly I was really disappointed. To top it all off an employee accidentally knocked over someone's pouring art statue and altered the way the guest decorated it. Instead of apologizing properly all they said was "My bad guys" and continued what they were doing beforehand. I'm glad I got to hangout with my friend and make something for her before she moved away but everything was just not going well. The total cost was around $75 for two phone cases and I don't usually leave bad reviews since I try to be understanding but I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here at all unless they improve in some areas like training their staff better, putting caps on their piping bags, offer sturdier phone cases, and more. And the fact that this is only for decorating the phone cases, I can't imagine what it's like to create a rug and the hassle that comes with it. read more

Do not believe the social media hype. I seen this place on TikTok and decided to come on my birthday which was a little over two weeks ago. My best friend and I chose to do pouring with the bears. At the end of the pouring they require you to take a photo of your bear and use it for pick up. I asked for same day pick up the staff stated I had to come back in a few days. I came back a week later to pick up our bears and they didn't have my bear. I was able to get my friends bear but they could not find mine. They have an unorganized system where they basically put them in a box with a date and then you show them the picture of your bear to pick up. There were 30 plus bears on the side of the front counter on the floor. The staff looked for my bear for 30 minutes then offered to let me make a new one for free. I declined And asked for a refund. They said it was up to management and they don't do refunds. Management issued a partial refund and they did not respond back to my emails or calls when I reached out to them about the issue. Aside from this issue, the staff was not friendly or helpful and they didn't even have enough paint available but was not around when we tried to ask to get more for the colors we were using. I wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

Rude front desk lady, with bright had no sense of urgency and not very much help. Clogged piping bags with little to no product. Messy and unorganized area, small selection of charms. Great concept though, had fun. Prices are a little iffy though. read more

My adult daughter and I planned a trip to have this experience for the 1st time. I was so disappointed This is a very expensive project. I have never done this before and there was very little direction on how to complete the project. They give you a couple minutes of direction....and you are on your own. I had to many times ask for help. "Teachers" would be huddle together talking, and the instructions were very short as if I knew what I was doing. For the price that we paid we should have been given more instruction and examples.AS WE WERE MAKING THE RUG. I am disabled, and it was almost impossible for me to successfully make a rug. We have been a student for many of these types of craft experiences. This is the first time my daughter and I left with an unsuccessful project. Furthermore, the place is a mess. very little organization. YOU DO NOT GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH read more

my phone case started coming apart Maude do better. so I would never come back give me a refund.

Would give 0 stars if I could. This place is terrible. I made a reservation for a birthday outing. When we arrived, we were not greeted. Just stood there. When we finally got an employeee's attention, she seemed to have no idea what was going on. Left us hanging, then seated us in front of the wrong size canvas. 45 minutes later, having been totally ignored, my friend and I just walked out the door. Horrible business. I wouldn't be surprised if this place goes out of business within the year. And they probably should. read more

This place is very unorganized and feels very chaotic, my family did rugs and I wanted to do decoden art. No one showed me how to do the designs or use the piping bags and when I asked for help a girl with glasses just sighed and said "I can go and look for myself" a lot of the workers are very rude like most other people are saying. I also thought it was strange how I overheard the employees complaining about most of the people doing the rugs and said that they don't care if people have reservations because then the workers will cancel it just because. This all followed with them shrugging their shoulders and not even caring (keep in mind it's $100 deposit) also I just want to add that they have claw machines which are a dollar each to play so I stopped my decoden design to pay for a token and before I could pay the worker rudely cut me off and said I need to go clean up my mess first. (I was the only one doing decoden after I was forced to share a table with 5 strangers who left paint everywhere and the piping tubes laid all over the counter???) read more
