My girlfriend and I love this place. We like to start with a home made cinnamon roll and after that, everything on the menu was great. After living in turner since I was 10, I was very excited about the addition of a new restaurant and especially after such great reviews. We went there a workday morning and had biscuits and gravy and a cinnamon roll. It was served quickly and the service was great. The portions were very generous. Overall a good experience, except for the flavor of the food. In my family and my opinion, the food was quite bland. The gravy was hearty but needed seasoning /'d the same goes with the potatoes. As a new restaurant I hope the seasoning issue is just a side effect of being a new restaurant, but we will see! read more

This is the best cafe I have been to. While visiting Or. the chicken fried steak is the best I've ever had! They make a Marionberry and Iran's zest jelly that is to die for! I would have naught a whole jar but they don't sell it. Amazing! And reasonably priced read more

Only been here a few times, but will definitely be back. Food is really good. Not a lot of choices but good sized portions. Only drawback so far is small size of building requiring a wait most times. Get here early if you want (need) to try the cinnamon rolls. read more

Discovered this place about 20 min away from where I live right here in a search when I moved tot the area late last year. after reading many reviewers commenting on how busy they can be early in the am, i purpose waited till 9ish to arrive, plus went on a week day. There were not busy at all, so get greeted and sat right away, both the hostess and our server were awesome. lot of great selections - you can order both breakfast an lunch menu. I was anxious to go because they offer gluten free pancakes! Got the small stack which more that filled me up combined with the red skinned fried potatoes. Absolutely wonderful veggie omelet with choice of vegetables and cheese. The homemade potato hash browns were perfectly cooked. They didn't have gluten free toast, so they gave me a gluten free pancake. Absolutely delicious! The service was so attentive, what nice people! I will be back! What a clean cute place! read more

I found a chunk of glass (about the size of a nickel) in my Mac n' cheese a couple months back. The waitress tried to persuade me it was only plastic. It was definitely glass.. My boyfriend went to take a bite and noticed it when he started chewing. He was so close to swallowing it! The owner was very nice about the situation, mistakes happen, but I did not like how the waitress tried to tell me it was a piece of plastic. Also how do the cooks not notice they dropped an object that was obviously made of glass by food and not fully switch out the dish of food it was broken by. The cook should be fired for this! He obviously avoided cleaning up the glass he broke by the food and risked two customers' lives over it. Very scary! read more

Impeccable service. Delicious food. Great value. Let me rave for a moment about the homemade from scratch biscuits AND homemade from scratch gravy! Rarely do you get homemade both, but with a full time baker on staff, lots of their food is homemade. And by lots I mean 98%. Save the bread. And only cause they don't have a bigger kitchen. A place where I can order breakfast all day? I'm in. A place where I can get breakfast AND homemade dessert, I'm down! We discovered this little place as a result of our fellow Yelpers. It's not too big which is great, but expect a slight wait if you show up on a weekend. The food is great! We've tried the breakfast burrito (YUMMO!!) the two egg breakfast and the pancakes. They offer a small case of baked goods as well. We would have given TC a glowing 5 star review if it weren't for the incredibly SLOWWWW service!!! The host is top notch and recognized that we hadn't been offered drinks after being there for several minutes (15-20) so he came and took our drink order. After another 10 minutes, he asked if they forgot about us. The waitress came shortly after. We REALLY want to love this place and recommend it to friends and family, but unless you have a good chunk of time to spare, I would caution them against it. However, if you're looking for great food with a nicely decorated atmosphere, give it a whirl. read more

My Aunt heard great reviews about this place. So when I came to visit, from out of town, she took me there for breakfast. We both ordered "Pancakes" for breakfast. We anxiously awaited our order. When it arrived, the pancakes were the "worst" that either of us had ever had. They were like press board and tasteless. The service was lacking. Needless to say, we won't go back!! Went again the other day and guess what? The waitress didn't put my order in or the cook messed up, I didn't get an answer but I saw people seated after me getting food. I couldn't get the waitress attention. Another 40 minute wait! I actually got the bill from the waitress which shocked me.... The hostess did however notice the whole thing and take care of my check. I feel like I am invisible when I go there because this happening to me twice in four months seems to speak clearly about single dining! Stopped in to pick up some chicken salad and potato salad totally forgetting today was Fathers Day. Even though they had a special menu for dads (e.g. No chicken salad) the owner worked some magic and got me set up with both salads to go. I really appreciated the extra mile with customer service.
