Super cute breakfast/brunch place. Server was very attentive. Decor was so cute. Definitely capitalized on the toast theme! Food was decent but did come out cold

This place was busy, so be prepared to wait a little, but it's definitely worth it. It's a small location, but very homey and inviting. Excellent place for breakfast and lunch. They have a cute little bar in the back if you want to order a drink. Fun arrays of breakfast cocktails (no judgement) and lunch specials. We came for breakfast and it was amazing! We will definitely be back.

The owner added our fave drink for the occasion. The food is great. The soups and specials are great. Service is great. The flowers are real and always fresh. The jam always fresh. It is a must go! Keno and video poker too.

This has become one of my favorite breakfast restaurants in Salem. Their breakfast potatoes are well seasoned, crisp, and cooked to perfection. Quiche special was delicious, and the fruit serving was very fresh and sweet! Reasonable prices and good sized servings. Everything we've tried is delicious. The menu is somewhat limited and could use reprinting. For a small place, their decor is very nice in purples and black. Booth seating is well padded and shows no wear and tear. The servers are always friendly and accommodating, and remember our special requests. Highly recommend this place.

Cute little breakfast spot; sort of difficult to find but worth persisting. Had the Mediterranean omelet w/ fruit! Loaded w/ tomatoes but plenty of artichokes, feta & spinach! I chose the fruit as my side & it was not the usual but beautiful berries & melons.

Little small breakfast shop in the middle of Salem. I've seen a lot of recommendations about this place and decided to try it while traveling. We ordered a breakfast sandwich, eggs benedict, fish and chips, loaded potato soup, and mimosas. The mimosas are strong! The fish and chips were fresh and crispy. The breakfast sandwich had an awesome flakey croissant, the soup tasted amazing and the eggs benedict were creamy. Everything tasted super fresh and homemade. Honestly the best food we had during the whole trip! The service was so friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be visiting again next time we visit Salem (:

Two eggs scrambled with bacon and three buttermilk pancakes.

Came in around 830am and this little place was a little busy. Two people were working the tables and there was a steady stream of to go orders. Service was friendly and they were doing a great job. It's a neat little place with a few booths, some tables, and a few seats at the counter. There is video gaming, but that is in its own area. Even though they were busy, I still was seated quickly, and felt comfortable. I went with a water, and then consulted the menu. It is quite extensive with plenty of choices for breakfast and lunch. I had been craving pancakes for a while, so I selected the two eggs (scrambled), bacon and three buttermilk pancakes. My food didn't take long to arrive. The eggs were tasty, and the bacon was nicely cooked. The pancakes had a nice tang from the buttermilk. Everything was tasty, and I thought four slices of bacon was generous. The syrup was good and I maybe could have used more butter with the pancakes, but that wasn't a deal-breaker. My water was kindly refilled. The optional lemon slice was a nice touch. I overheard people raving about the Apple Crisp French toast, and that will be the next thing I try here for breakfast. Since I'm an early riser, I might come in a little earlier than I did today, but the staff did a great job juggling everything regardless. I liked the vibe here, and I intend to return!

A cute, modern looking little café with great food. The quiche was delicious and so was the apple crisp French toast. We had a nice, relaxed brunch there. We were quickly seated and our orders taken. We left feeling full and happy.

Hands down the best Thai food in South Salem (there are 5 Thai restaurants plus the Blue Thai truck…read morein South Salem--I recommend all but one). And easily the best Thai in South Salem, West Salem, or Keizer. Have only tried one place on Lancaster, so I can't claim it's the best in Salem. The chef/owner makes all of her own sauces and Thai curries from scratch and they are all amazing compared to all the commercial premade sauces and curry pastes used by almost everyone else. Her homemade Pad Thai sauce blew my wife and I away, and she doesn't skimp on it like other places. You could taste the freshly soaked tamarind and lots of other awesome flavors. Her homemade Thai yellow curry in the Golden Chicken curry (totally different than Indian yellow curry) was floral and very tasty--unlike any other Thai yellow curry I've had elsewhere. Highly recommend the Golden Chicken curry, the Shrimp Ceramic Pot with what appeared to be tasty mung beans noodles, and of course the Pad Thai. The Thai basil chicken was good another time, but wasn't significantly better than other places. My wife ordered a side of peanut sauce (because most places skimp on their pad thai sauce they probably buy at an Asian grocery store) but there was too much going on in it for us--plus when the Pad Thai arrived, it needed nothing added to it, was perfect as it was. But I bet that homemade peanut sauce would be awesome if cooked into something else, which is probably what it's for. The salt and pepper fried calamari was also great--and cut differently than any other Thai or Chinese restaurant in Salem. I ordered my dishes "spicy" and they really weren't hot at all--catered to an American palette--I drizzled some of her hot chile oil on, and was great. We also love dining in here as opposed to takeout. The seating is spacious, spread out enough, and the atmosphere is quiet with some low volume music. The decor is obviously Thai, but in no way overdone or gaudy. Very relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of people came in both times I've gone to pick up take-out orders, so I'm sure it's good. The location is on the east side of South Commercial up in that elevated strip mall before you get to Kuebler across from MAPS Credit Union. We are definitely going back there a 3rd time--and hopefully I'll order something new instead of reordering what I already know is amazing--which will probably be hard for me, because I'm already craving what I've already had. Service was also very friendly and attentive. The owner/chef made several trips around the dining room to make sure everyone's meals were fine. If I had three hands, I'd give this place three enthusiastic thumbs up!

Turns out they're right next door, tucked back a bit from the roadway so easy to miss you and when you're sober. Glad I noticed it as we were driving off, as it's a great taphouse with a large number of beers on draft, in excess of 20 I believe. Service is very gracious, and you don't have to commit to official tasters, they're willing to pour you a little splash of several beers for you to figure out what it is you'd actually like to taste. That said, we opted to do an official flight of four IPAs, one of which was a hazy. All pretty interesting; ended up ordering a pint of one of them to share. Like a lot of tap rooms, they use the app DigitalPour to list their beers so you can check them out online if you like. We'll probably be back again. We didn't order any food while we were there, but what we smelled, and looked at appeared to be pretty good. It wasn't crowded when I arrived, around 3 or 4pm. Service was very friendly and relaxed. It had a comfortable, friendly vibe. It seems this place has a lot of regulars, because a couple groups came in after me and were greeted by name. It was Tuesday, which meant the Happy Hour menu was available all day. The prices were quite reasonable, and we got plenty of food. We ordered the Korean Street Tacos, and Curried chicken lettuce wraps and the cheeseburger with hand cut fries. Everything was delicious. The Korean tacos were a nice mixture of fresh veggies and rich meat flavors as well as some heat. The wraps were generously filled with a great classic chicken salad with curry, and had a great crunch. The burger was juicy and rich, was a good size and had a yummy brioche bun. The fries were cooked well and the ranch was creamy with a dilly kick. This was some solid food at a great price. Apparently Tuesday is trivia night, but we left before that started. Cozy and not too loud. Their specials menu of select food and drinks was nice, but I was a but disappointed to learn that the only non-alcoholic offering was a canned golden beer (and soft drinks, water - haha, per our server). They did have a decent selection of draft beer. I shared that many restaurants are offering mocktails and that they're missing an opportunity there. The table ordered a sampling of the menu; Korean tacos, Caesar salad, Mac & Cheese, Burger and fries, and Lettuce wraps. Drinks included strawberry lemonade, draft beer, wine, and ice tea. The Korean tacos were good, but not excellent. I think the shell could be improved upon, maybe a fried won ton? Maybe some chili sauce on the side? The Caesar salad was very good, but the mac and cheese was bland and disappointing. Overall it seems like they're working through some kinks. The server could've used some help, as he seemed to have the only one working all of the tables. No ketchup on the table for fries or offer of any. A condiment station might help, but the place is relatively small. I'm glad we stopped in and will certainly give it another shot. It's nice to have an affordable family friendly spot in Salem and I wish them the best of luck!

Parking was a nightmare and the waitlist was thriving at 25 minutes long, but it was Sunday so I understood. We put our name on the list and waited outside in the cold next to the heater that wasn't emitting any heat. Our name was called after twenty minutes and we were sat next to the door (not my fave) at a large table. A couple was sat at the same time as us at the other end. We both got our menus at the same time. But long story short: by the time they were done with their meal, check on the table and everything, we had finally received ours. It was very annoying given that we were sat at the exact same time. The cinnamon roll was lackluster. All of the lovely frosting that you hope for/expect was melted into a flavorless grease. The corned beef hash was a strange consistency being made with shredded hash instead of traditional cubed potato but that was their choice and it's not the best. The French toast on the kids menu did not mention that it was crusted in cornflakes and I think if it weren't for the fact that my daughter was so hungry, she wouldn't have ate them. They were what you expect: crunchy French toast bites. Our server never returned after dropping off the food, only at the end to clear plates and give the check. It was a disappointing experience and even more disappointing that we had to tip on that kind of service because we're those kind of people. Clearly he didn't deserve it. The encounter legitimately set a really grim tone for the rest of the day.
