This locksmith will access your property without ANY verification. Be careful. This is illegal business and a major security concern. The owner is also very unprofessional dealing with this when I asked for a refund (see screenshots of correspondence). The cops were notified and a case has been open but I want others to be aware. My vacation renter was stressed out because she had locked herself out of the house. She called Turn Key Locksmith who didn't verify that she was a renter and the locksmith entered my house without ANY permission, opened the back of the house which is not a part of the house I allow renters to access and has many of my valuables! He didn't ask for any proof she was a renter. She could have been anyone. I pay $60 a month for ADT security system, but this locksmith will just come and charge $85 without any verification or screening and let a stranger in my house or yours! Please do not use this company. I am shocked how this whole incident was handled as well. read more

Found RJ Locksmith on Yelp, who referred me to Turn Key Locksmith to replace my car key fob. Called Turn Key last night and actually talked to Corey, the owner. He was straightforward and honest about his pricing. I scheduled for him to come out the next morning. Corey was on time and friendly when he showed up. He did an an awesome job and was done quickly. I spent a lot of time looking for a locksmith, and kept getting big companies who sub-contract out to random technicians. All the technicians charged different prices and many were dishonest in their pricing strategy, refusing to tell me the cost or only telling me after I told them someone else's quote. Corey is an "average guy" providing a necessary and sometimes emergency service. I did not think about him asking me to provide the title/registration to my vehicle upon him opening the door. Not a big deal to me as I was stressed and hoping not to be late returning from my lunch break. When you are locked out of your property you have no way to verify it is your property until you have access to your property. I would have complied with his request to provide proof if he asked. I was down in the Goodyear, Avondale area when my car key got stuck in the front driver door when I was trying to unlock it. It was a 2010 civic, and it was about 115 degrees outside around 5 in the evening. After calling two other locksmiths, I was referred to Corey. I called him and he was just finishing up a job and asked if he could call me back; he did within 5 minutes, and quoted me a price and said he could be their within 30 minutes. He was there in 15, and was very friendly when he arrived, showing and explaining certain problems it could be from a used key to my lock system being possibly defective. Long story short, he was able to remove my key from the door and get me on my way. The whole ordeal was much quicker and less stressful than I had thought; so I am thankful for Corey and his work. I locked myself out of my office at 11pm. I called up the top 3 locksmiths on Yelp and felt really uneasy about the way that they talked to me. None of them gave me a definitive quote...It was always vague numbers and they were all really rushing to get me to give them my address. I felt like they were trying to trick me by saying "the call out fee is only $19". When I asked how much the actual labor would cost, they would say something like "it could be as cheap as $75, but it could also be $200." When I called Turn Key, it was a much different conversion. He didn't try to pressure me at all. And he also gave me a set quote, and promised that it wouldn't go over unless I was completely wrong about the lock. Got my key fixed by Corey in October 2015. Not only was he an hour late to the appointment I set, he super glued my key fob together. This left my key stuck out and not retracting in like it was meant to. To make matters worst my key battery died in December. So now I am out the 160 bucks I was charged to fix the key and the nice remote features don't work and I can't change the battery because it is super glued shut. So now I am faced with the choice of getting a whole new vw key programmed and being out the 500 bucks that will cost, or hacking my key apart now trying to Frankenstein it together. WOW! I wish all people did business like Corey. The fob-key for my Honda Ridgeline broke when I dropped it in a parking lot. Subsequently I could not start the vehicle. He answered on the first call, arranged to meet me and we had a miscommunication on the exact time to meet. I called him and he had waited for me patiently but had to leave when I couldn't answer my phone. When I called him he had left BUT he politely agreed to come back. I had a complicated problem with my volkswagon and a key fob with a chip in it that had broken off in the ignition swich, AAA had already come out and told me they didnt work with this kind of situation and there was nothing they could do and they drove off and left me stranded in 110 degree heat in the middle of the parking lot. They also said that a dealership would easily charge over $600 bucks. I found Turn Key Locksmith the next morning and called pretty early, i actually woke Corey(the owner) out of a dead sleep as he had helped another stranded person out very late the previous night. He quoted me a very, very fair price after i explained what had happened and the details of the my problem, within an hour, he had his portable truck by my car and was reassembling and rebuilding my key fob, duplicating it and testing it to make sure it worked, it was perfect and in fact, BETTER than new!! Don't mess around calling a bunch of other locksmiths, it'd be a complete waste of your time-call Turn Key and speak directly with the owner, do you really think all these other, larger locksmith companies give a rats ass about your problem??
