Ohhhh lord how much I loved this building, from the facade to the rooftop. Loved every single piece of decor. I thought I must become best friends of whoever put a Frida Kahlo freeing some nipple (painting) in one of the common areas. Warm welcome from the girl who was my leasing agent. I was so convinced to get one of the new deals and enjoy that flashy pool with view to the east mountains until...Until i paid my deposit but started to have nightmares about living in a triangle shape apartment. Hardwood floors, views to nowhere, pristine appliances...and that feeling of becoming OCD and wanting a perfectly square or rectangular floorplan where I could feel the chi flowing from entry to exit doors. Seriously I had such a weird unbalance feeling that after paying my deposit i regretted. Unfortunately they did not have anything else available in my price range so I cancelled and they returned the money via check in a week or so. I loved that there is a brand new Traders Joe in the first floor. That is also a curse because attracts too many people. Then i also read in the fine print that many of those apartments can be sold as condos at any times, plus you won't get an assigned parking. Other than that as cons I started to think i don't like to be so close to any train station because you can't avoid the noise and also attracts all kinds of people. Amenities are top class, Parking is excellent, and we can get free 5-10 permits for guest parking every month. Everything can be requested via mobile or web app! Turnover time for any service requests is usually the same day. Management is really nice, I appreciate their excellent service and wish them all the best. I recently moved here from San Francisco and have been living here for a month now with my boyfriend. It's been such a great experience. I love the friendly staff and all of the amenities and 'soon to be open' amenities such as the badminton court and the three level gym! The apartments features and fixtures all all brand new and shiny. The pool and jacuzzi is amazing and a great feature for everyone to enjoy when having guests over. There's more BBQs and tv screens on the rooftop pool deck than I can count and I love it. The only thing I would say to be warned of is the immense amount of construction that is going on at "the fields" on the south side of the building. It's pretty loud, so if you're the type that needs to sleep in buy some ear plugs lol. read more

I do enjoy living here. The amenities make the expensive price worth it for the most part. if you go across the street you can get the same type of apartment, with good amenities for 300-500 cheaper. so I recommend keeping your options open. Amenities do have restricted hours, you typically have to reserve the gym a week in advance if you want to get a good time. the pool is usually open until midnight, but now its only open from 9-6, which is very unfortunate. During the shelter in place, Turing closed ALL amenities, and instead of giving us discounted rent, they gave everyone $50 off one month, if they paid their rent on time that month. (mind you, many people lost their jobs, and were waiting to receive their unemployment, so not many people qualified for this discount) they did have a rent deferment program, so for 2 months you paid 50% of your rent, after that, your rent went up the following 6 months, until you paid back what you owed. which was helpful. The management is nice and usually helpful. They do sensor what you are able to post on the community wall to try to help keep a positive image of the apartments which I understand but they should want to help protect the other residents rather than covering things up. Saturday my car was broken into. I was able to call the police after seeing suspicious people breaking into another car. I tried posting 3 times about it on the community wall, my sister tried posting twice. we wanted everyone to be aware! we did get the license plate information, and have a case number. we wanted everyone to have the police information incase their car was one of the ones that was broken into. Turing refuses to post the information. After reading other reviews about Turing on google, apparently this has happened to many other people. Just feels shady. they are covering things up for their reputation. its very neglectful of Turing to not inform the community of the dangers constantly going on, or allow everyone to communicate with eachother on the community wall. Car break ins and home break ins happen ALL the time here. Seems ridiculous we pay such high rent and can't even feel safe. After my car break in, we questioned them about what the security hours were. they explained it should be 24 hours, but it might be a certain time frame for the time being. which is pretty frustrating they don't even know their security hours. seeing as how big the community is and how much we pay, there should always be a security guard on site if not more than one. Also parking is horrific. We live on the 3rd floor, and are always having to park on the 6th floor due to there never being parking. we have asked to park on the 1st and 2nd floor, since retail has yet to open (its been a year now) but they refuse to let us park there and threaten to tow our vehicles because we are parking in unused spots. If I was you, I would not commit to signing a lease here. The only good thing about this place is the amenities and staff but it doesn't over weigh the bad, which is unfortunate. read more

The only reason I am giving this complex 3 stars instead of 1 is for the excellent service provided by the maintenance team, especially Mr. Octavio who was the only one to respond to all my needs throughout my period of living at these apartments. His knowledge and eager to help with any issue that came up was better than I ever would have expected from someone who is not in management. Now, why would I prefer to give this complex 1 star... 1) we are working adults that have a curfew (before covid). --all amenities shut down as soon as most of us get off work. --we are not college kids in a dorm, if we are paying a premium, let us use the amenities ---their excuse is the ammenities have neighbors...well management team...all the amenities are above and below each other. and the units next to them also agree they wouldn't mind people using them. so what is the real reason? Control over your tenants? 2) limit number of guests allowed 3) parking is an issue 4) pool caused hair loss 5) thefts in an enclosed parking garage that is monitored by security 6) security that can't be reached so issues with tenants partying past 3 am on a weekday was dealt with on our own terms. ...and the list goes on... other than how beautifully designed this building is, I would not recommend anyone to rent here. I lived here in 2021 but had an overall solid experience at Turing. I loved the pool area, badminton court, ping pong room and Trader Joe's right below. It was pretty clean and people were nice. Now for the negative, our motorcycle got stolen inside the gated garage and nothing was done about it. Management said cameras didn't work at that area.. lol. The building's fire alarms went off ALOT usually because of the sprinklers getting hit in the garage. Tenants kept requesting mirrors in the garage for safety when turning but responses were dismissive. Like others mentioned, the draft beer never worked the whole time I lived there and they limited the guests you can bring to the pool at the time. read more

I moved here in October this year; Lisa helped me find the suitable apartment I was looking for and was very helpful throughout the process. I had to make a few last-minute changes; Lisa went above and beyond to do it for us. That was pre-move! Since I moved here, I have met Leo and his amazing Manager, Heather. They are really good at replying to emails related to any support/questions. One instance I clearly remembered, I was having problems locating my car parking sticker; maybe I misplaced it or something. I emailed Heather, and she quickly replied, mentioning what needs to be done to request a new one and get a temporary one! Excellent at people skills and always there to help you with any problem you have or to chat with you as a friend! They are superb at what they do, including hosting rooftop parties/events! What's more interesting is that they play Badminton with us almost every day. I have lived in many different apartment complexes, living in Turing seems like home! The only thing Luxury about Turing is the price. I have lived at Turing for over a year, before covid started and my major issues are: - Many instances of car break ins. (Smashed windows, stolen property) - Many stolen packages from the mailroom. (Mismanagement of mailroom in general) There is not enough security and the few security guards do not seem competent. Also noise is a common problem. Footsteps can often be heard from upstairs neighbors. The overall aesthetic and amenities are nice, however, during covid when many of the amenities are closed it does not make much of a difference. Touring with Heather was awesome and making me feel very welcome. The community is very clean and the staff members are very nice. There are stores nearby which really makes it easy to just go shopping. It is also a very good location since there is a school nearby which makes it easy for parents with children since it's within walking distance. The apartment is great there's no doubt about it. Service team is responsive and fixed our issues in less than 24hours. Lyon living management is great at communicating things. The only problem I faced here was the security of residents and security of things belonged to residents. 2 of my bikes got stolen from the fob access bike room and my car was burglarized all within 1 year and Lyon Living management isn't doing anything in order to reduce these thefts. read more

Do not rent here! The walls and ceilings are paper thin. A person walking in the above apartment will cause an earthquake in your apartment. A decent apartment building will have less number of floors in the same building height to have sufficient space between floors but not this one. Watch out. They decieved the residents and charge fee unfair and excessively. I lived in Turing for a year in one bedroom. When I moved in, the cleaning was not perfect, so I asked for cleaning, but they ignored my request. I spent a few days cleaning up after moving in. I am a tidy person and use the room carefully. Previously, I lived in the nearby Irvine and Elan apartments for a year each and kept the house perfectly clean, paying no cleaning and painting fees. The apartments have really high cleaning standards. I used it really cleanly in Turing, but they forced me to pay cleaning and painting fees. I asked the Inspection Man to tell me which part of the paint was dirty. He said there was an invisible stain. I took a picture but couldn't find it. This is a lie and the invisible stain makes no sense. They accessed $450 for partial painting although full painting fee is $500 and $185 for cleaning and $85 for carpet. I took a video on the move out condition and it was very clean.but they claimed all the money without any proof of work order for painting, cleaning and carpert cleaning. They didn't send me any evidence that any parts were dirty, especially since I can't understand the painting fee. Also, they deceived me. My due date was Sunday, but they said  that they couldn't do it on Sunday. It was strange to have the final walk-through 2 days early but they said  "there are no other options and charge all fees if you can't do it on Friday." I was forced to do it on Friday. The inspector charged excessively, but I did not want to argue it , so I demanded that it be dealt with in a reasonable way. He said  "If you move out now and the fee could reasonably handle it if he moved now. I paid for two more days, but they tricked me. I demand that this be treated fairly. And I hope you send me proof. If not, I'll post my experiences and pictures of my move out on every site on every apartment review site. And we are considering appealing the due process of law. read more

When we met the stuff before signing they told us that there isn't any constructions planning around for the next year and that it's a quite place with very quiet apartment so we actually pick up a fifth floor apartment just to be sure it is going to be a quite apartment --it was everything but quite !!!!! Consturction all day long! Even weekends! All day long and all night long their is a loud music coming from the pool Area on the rooftop !! 8 am, 10 pm, 12 am 2am!! We complained so many times!! We call the security, we went to the lease office, showed them video how loud is it from our apartment! Still- noting changes! My husband Actually needed to go out at 2 AM in the morning and turn off the music!! I've become sick since I've moved here! I have migraine and headache from lack of sleep! On top of the noise, I Expected to move to a clean apartment of the moving day for apartment was so dirty with wood cheap all over and dust !nobody cleaned up the apartment before we moved in so instead of focusing on unpacking I needed to clean everything from scratch! -First time using the oven- the Entire apartment covered with white smoke from a defect oven that nobody inspected before entering the apartment. And for the first time using the washer machine , a huge amount of water was coming out from the machine !when calling the maintenance they came after four days and they needed to call a supervisor just to check and said that they cannot find any problems and there's nothing they can do about it!! I would like to highlight this canned response from management where somehow the blame is trying to be shifted, as if I didn't uniquely realize among residents that construction was happening, doesn't actually solve anything and it's simply not true. I was well aware there was construction happening in a separate area of the building, but not that it'd be starting at 7am right above my unit for weeks on end with no warning or notice, or that my roof would be a walkway for construction workers and I'd have to listen to pounding on my roof for weeks. It also doesn't solve the number of other problems (packages getting lost, internet that barely works, the atrocious moving company the building partnered with, etc.). I'd be happy to pay back the free first month's rent and move out tomorrow, but the penalty for that is another 2.5 months rent for problems the building is causing... not any problems from lack of awareness on my end. read more

I have been living here for 6 months now and here is what I have observed. While the apartment itself is nice, there are a lot many issues that have forced us to consider moving out as soon as possible: 1. Lot of car break-ins and cycle thefts 2. Amazon parcel thefts 3. Non residents in access controlled areas like mailroom. No action taken against it 4. Storage room break-ins 5. A lot of noise from construction and VTA 6. The property manager Rebecca is very rude. Multiple community members complain about the same. 7. Over charges for utilities. They have doubled the trash cost without letting the community know and when we confronted Rebecca about it, she denies it outright We moved here since it's a luxury apartment complex however it's no way close. Thank you I appreciate you guys for setting in stone for me leaving this apartment. Maintenance is absolutely terrible, my AC unit is very unreliable and breaks every week considering they haven't fixed the leak through the units for months. At that security is terrible as well ,my cars been broken into before and you are now charging me for the amenities I already pay for which is included in rent?? which is absolutely ridiculous. $150 for the first 2 hours then An additional $50 for the extra hours on top. No first come first serve basis. As well as the internet is absolutely terrible in the conference room no stable connection anywhere. What am I really paying for here? Also the manager who's name is Heather always is either never responding, forwarding my calls or has a absolute nasty attitude which isn't so welcoming. Good luck keeping your tenants. Cash grabbers and people who syphon money out their tenants. Absolutely disgusting. Not including the mail fee that they recently added , after 2 days of holding your mail they charge $10 a day. Close to Great Mall and VTA, as well as to 680, 880 and the airport. Floorplans are spacious, appliances are modern. Choice of internet providers, including a reseller named CSS which is very reliable. EV charging is being installed, it was supposed to be available in July but still is not ready for use as of today's writing. The pool is very large with a hot tub and top notch - probably the best I've seen in the Bay Area. There are some serious noise issues in our unit. It is common to hear TV or phone conversations through the wall in either bedroom of our apartment. If you live in a unit below a floor with no carpeting, footsteps and loud vibrations/shaking are very possible depending on how noisy your neighbors are. We have contacted security patrol and have been told by the guards there is nothing they can do. There have been several car break-ins over the course of our time here. It is not uncommon for the mail room to be overflowing with packages, left outside of the secure lockers they are supposed to be delivered to. Some residents have posted about misdirected or missing packages on the internal apartment social networking board. We finally were able to get our names placed in the call box so delivery folks can get in. There are two trash rooms on our floor, and it can be a lengthy walk depending on where your unit is. Parking is unassigned and good on the fourth floor, but we have heard complaints about parking on the third floor as residents are asked to park behind the gate, presumably to prepare for an increase in traffic when Trader Joe's opens. There is also a train track right next door to the property, with cargo trains that come through at various times of the day and night- believe it or not, if you're used to random city noise, this is not a huge deal (and we knew that going in). However, we and several other residents are currently experiencing an ant infestation, which from prior posts on the building's internal social network, is not a new occurrence. There have also been elevator breakdowns in recent weeks. Management did offer to transfer us to a top floor unit, but amongst all the other problems, it is a hard sell. read more

I've been at Turing since the middle of the pandemic (May) and have been really happy for making the move! Staff Lenore is one of the leasing managers here and she was super helpful in the process. This is my first apartment out in the Bay Area. She walked through all the pricing and options for me, and did more than one tour to make sure I was well informed about my options. As a first timer, you can imagine I had a lot of questions and was pretty concerned about the finances. She was super patient and walked me through the entire more than once! After move in, she has been my go to with questions about parking, facility usage, guests etc. The team is so available! The rest of the staff here are very friendly and I feel safe here. There is usually maintenance or security walking around as well. Property The amenities make it so worth it. The property team has been doing a good job to ensure we're safe while also able to use the proper amenities. The gym and pool here are to die for. Last but not least is Trader Joe's is right downstairs and is the best thing to have happened! I'm excited to see how the property develops as I continue my time here. read more

I had the chance to tour the Turing property and it was great! You would never think you were in Milpitas until you actually left the property. The rooftop pool area is gorgeous and reminds me of a Las Vegas pool property. Very modern and updated furniture and you feel real fancy being up so high. I saw a two bedroom - two bathroom style space and it was quite spacious. It had an open kitchen with a living room and I love that the two bedrooms were far enough apart so everyone gets a piece of privacy. Bathrooms were very big which is a huge plus, especially around this area! The staff (I was helped by Justin) was very friendly and answered all the questions I had. They were not pushy whatsoever and was more concerned with what I was looking for, which is a huge plus for me. Plus, the property is right across from the mall and close to decent transportation if you're looking to be eco-friendly. read more

I just moved for this building 3 weeks ago. I'm very disappointed from the way I got the apt that was suppose to be cleaned. I got dirty apt and the leasing office didn't do anything to resolve that issues. Beside that there is an employee at the leasing office, her name is Yada. Every weekend she's in charge of the roof top. The way that she act and speak with me is very disrespectful. She's like a police officer at the roof top and she doesn't make you feel comfortable and she makes you feel like a stranger at your own place. The property was very chic and modern, despite being surrounded by empty lots and being under construction. The area is close to a lot of attractions and the freeway is easily accessible which is a plus. I attended an open house party at the rooftop pool and it was stunning! There were plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas to host a well spent evening. I especially enjoyed the tour of the property that was conducted by Justin.
