I lived here for over two years and the team is amazing . Paul the leasing agent is always fun to talk to and very kind. Will is the apartment manager is always accommodating and helpful. I have a medical condition where I can go from zero to a hundred in a split second and they always try their best to accommodate me the best they can. Jerome the maintenance manager, Maria and all of her team as well are always so nice, keeping the apartments so clean and immaculate. Truly a boutique experience. I lived here for over a year and my experience was extremely disappointing. This place markets itself as a "luxury" apartment, but it is nowhere close to luxury for the price you pay. Security is a huge issue here. Endless amounts of packages get stolen and there is absolutely no real security on the premises. It's a constant problem and management does not seem to take it seriously. Recently there was also a mass car break-in where over 50 cars had their windows smashed in the parking areas. That alone should say a lot about how little security there actually is. On top of that, they will take your entire security deposit for outrageous and unnecessary charges when you move out. Even if you leave the apartment in good condition, they still find ways to deduct large amounts for things like painting and cleaning that are clearly just normal turnover between tenants. To be very clear: I did not hang a single thing on the walls, I did not mount a TV, and I did not make a single hole in the walls. There was absolutely no wall damage whatsoever, yet they still charged for REPAINTING AT $439 as if repairs were needed. For the amount of money you pay to live here, you would expect much better management, better security, and a property that actually feels like a luxury community. Unfortunately, that is not the reality here. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before signing a lease here. read more

I called Aire to ask about the apartment listed on their website that says there's one unit left with two months free. I wanted to confirm details before scheduling a tour. The leasing representative told me that the promotion actually applies to any apartment available and that I shouldn't really pay attention to what the website says. That was a pretty strange response since the listing clearly says there's only one unit left with that special. The interaction felt a bit unprofessional and confusing. If the promotion applies to all units, the website shouldn't say something different. It just left a weird impression. read more

At Aire Apartments in San Jose the street parking situation is a nightmare. If you get home anytime after like 6-7 PM, good luck finding a spot anywhere near the building. I've had nights where I circled the block for 20+ minutes just trying to park, and sometimes ended up several blocks away. For an apartment complex this size, the lack of reasonable parking options is ridiculous. Guests basically have no chance of finding parking, which makes having friends or family over stressful and awkward. It feels like the management either underestimated how many people actually have cars or just doesn't care. The building itself might look nice at first glance, but the constant parking struggle quickly overshadows everything else. If street parking matters to you at all, I would seriously think twice before moving here. read more

I've been living in this apartment for 6 years now and I'm really enjoying the life at Aire. There are many reasons. But one of the reasons is definitely the maintenance team, especially Maria. Whenever I put in the maintenance request, she takes care of it right on the day of request or the day after. And the job is clean and perfect. Been thinking about relocating to San Jose and I've been shopping around for a new place. I don't usually like leaving a review but after my apartment hunting experience I just had to praise the people at Aire Apartments. I can't remember the leasing agent but I definitely remember the manager Stephanie. She made sure that I was being attended to and made me feel welcomed. I told her that I was just looking for now and I was still unsure about moving and she still treated me really well. The other properties I went to had no leasing agent or manager on site even when the property was huge. And when there was a person there, they were useless. We've been living here 3+ years now and we're so happy to continue living here. The place is quiet, clean, modern and well maintained. Apart from the amazing amenities, the staff here are equally so. They go above and beyond. Jerome and Maria are quickly responsive when we have any maintenance issues and are thorough with their explanations. Our heating system wasn't working and they were able to fix it same day. Especially Nikki, she would handle any misplaced packages we couldn't find. I lived here from Nov 2019 - Dec 2020 - quiet neighborhood, really close to guadalupe river trail and there's a park right across the street! Due to the COVID shutdowns throughout the nation, I only had the opportunity to use the amenities up until March of this year, it re-opened for a hot minute in November but because of the surge in COVID cases in California, Aire's amenities closed down again. The gym is so spacious and gorgeous; it was great while it lasted, but that was one of the main reasons why I had chosen to live at Aire. It had everything you needed and had high ceilings and great natural lighting!!! I wish rent was slashed a few $$$ during my stay there due to the amenity closures, I was paying for literally JUST my apartment and parking spot. My unit was a 600 sq ft studio and it did the job at the time. Their studio's layout is not your average studio apartment, there is a wall dividing the open space so there's somewhat of a privacy / separate room area- same with the closet area, it's more a of a spacious hallway, and i was able to add another external wardrobe in it. It is a smaller community than most, which is a good thing! It doesn't get too crazy with residents all over the place like how the nearby apartment complexes are. A lot of people go out for walks on a daily basis in the neighborhood, very safe. This community is only a few blocks away from Milipitas, near a the VTA lightrail station and BART, and a lot of shops are nearby within a 5 mile radius. Like I said previously it's super close to guadualupe river trail, I spent most of my quarantine walks and long distance runs on that trail. I grew up in the area so I already knew most of this stuff existed but it's an ideal spot if you are new to town as well, you got everything you need nearby! Shout out to staff member Nick Sakoda, the assistant apartment manager! He has been super helpful and gracious during my entire stay there. I had an issue earlier this year with my reserved parking spot (a lot of cars would park in my spot, reoccurring) and he responded with a solution in a very timely manner! Really appreciated that. I also had some VERY noisy neighbors within the last 2 months of my lease, and he and the rest of the AIRE team addressed that (noise was still there but was minimized after I had notified the office) I never really had any parcel/package issue, until my last month there. But I believe it was the parcel's person's fault as the locker code i obtained was to the wrong locker the person had placed it. The reason why I'm knocking down one star is due to the lack of (guest) parking in the area. The street parking is so little so a lot of my guests had to park around the Cresent Village area (another apartment complex), and even there the parking is scarce. read more

Came in for a tour with Nikki she was super nice friendly and upbeat, knowledgeable. The place is really clean and modern because I guess it was built recently. The hallways aren't indoor so can get a little chilly. Parking for guests is usually bad in this area so I'm used to it. Pretty quiet area since it's where offices are. The space I saw I really liked the huge island in the middle and the bathrooms are huge and I love the blackout blinds, gotta have en for them late nights nam sayin. read more

We've been living in Aire for 3+ years, that makes us believe we're aware of all the goods and bads. The good: Definitely a luxury and spacious living in the area. Can hardly find anything close enough in Northern San Jose. Management is supportive and stuff are real professionals. Lease terms are flexible and pricing is competitive. Updated review, wanted to rate the apartment itself, rather than the neighbors I had over a year ago :) The management is very supportive and has been on top of everything during the pandemic. The staff is there for the residents and always takes care of their needs in a very timely and understanding way. The apartments are very nice and spacious, and very fresh since the building is only a few years old. We've reached out to management to give feedback a few times or handle issues we were having. They will straight up tell you that they will work on it(if they had a solution) and keep me updated, but they never do. They don't really reach out to you to see if a problem was handled. You really need to keep contacting them to get updates. Eventually I got tired of it and gave up. Also, the parcel locker has been broken into and they were not transparent of this issue. We only found out because we opened an empty locker and had to ask them if they had seen it. Couple of weeks later, they officially shut off the lockers until a third party fixes it with no date given as to when. We've lost 3 packages at 3 separate times. They said that all packages will be placed at the office for the time being. They don't update you if you received a package. Recently I went to go look for my package and they couldn't find it. They were blaming it on the carrier and that they don't know what the process for where parcels would be delivered. They told me to come back the next day when they organized packages. I asked them to notify me if they found it or not. No update. Amz said it was shipped to someone in person and we certainly did not receive it. Sigh.... read more

My wife and I spent 3 years in Aire. First in a 1 bedroom, then we moved to a 2 bedroom. They are modern apartments and very comfortable. Make sure you choose the right floor-plan for you, they have plenty of options. Despite some noisy neighbors (as you could find in any apartment building), overall it's a quiet and clean community with excellent amenities. The neighborhood is very nice too. There's a beautiful park right across the street, and restaurants and a Starbucks right around the corner. Best of all is the staff that works here. They are very kind and customer focused. Sorry but given recent events I'm going to downgrade this quite a bit. My car got broken into and given the recent communications and some broken glass here and there I believe this is a real problem. Security is the most important thing. If people can just walk into the garage and do whatever they want, then why advertise a "close community". Also, I called security which arrived 1:36mins after I first called. We stayed at Aire for 15 months. I really enjoyed the time living here. We moved cuz we want to stay closer to the office. People in the leasing office are all super nice and responsive. Especially Nick. He helped us a lot no matter what we asked for. For example, we wanted to extend our stay for 2 more days, he managed to make it happen, which saved us 2 nights hotel stay and storage fee. The rest of the people are all amazing. I've been living in a studio apartment for about 6 months at Aire now. I'm a single bachelor in my mid-late 20s working in tech and enjoying the outdoors. It's the cheapest studio I found when searching North San Jose and the greater Santa Clara area. The unique design offers a divider between the resting and lounge/relaxation area, which compartmentalizes the unit making it feel less overwhelming. Thus far, it's been a wholesome positive living experience. I live on the 2nd floor, steps away from the garbage/recycling chute (which is a separate room on its own), from my parking location (via stairs) and the amenities - lounge, pool, gym, which are all of utmost quality. The apartment is fairly isolated from any noise in the hallways. The demographic is mainly young couples or families from what I've observed. I haven't had any major technical issues. My fire alarm unit became detached suddenly, but all I had to do was e-mail management and they fixed it asap when they did their routine inspection. Paperwork and payments are all done via online (make sure to register your bank account/chequings to avoid unnecessary processing fees for e.g. if you paid via credit card). Although the staff are busy, they are friendly and competent - I've had wonderful interactions with Shokhou and Taylor, who've been prompt in helping me answer any questions, any requests (for e.g. getting keys to Internet hub room for Internet service provider technicians for Internet set-up), or provide me any necessary paperwork. Most of all, they've been gracious in helping me with my transition from Canada to San Jose via remote communication over the phone, from the self check-in instructions on a weekend night, to any follow-up inquiries I had. Disorganized and unprofessional. I made an appointment on AIRE's website for a tour at 5:30PM, but since it fell on a holiday I called in just to make sure it wasn't a technical error, and to make sure they were open. The person who answered told me it was strange that I was allowed to make an appointment for 5:30 when their last appointment should be 5:00. So I rescheduled for 4:00 the following weekend. I received no confirmation email. No calls. On the day of I decided to call in before leaving for the appointment. The first time they answered and then hung up on me. Second call they picked up only to tell me my appointment was set for 3:00 and I'd missed it. They were booked for the rest of the day and completely inflexible to make anything work for me. Two errors on their part about scheduling my tour and the unwillingness to problem solve an issue they created -- left a bad taste in my mouth. If this is how the leasing office handles possible tenants, I'm afraid to know how they help the ones living there. read more
