As far as the finished product we are satisfied. One small thing to address and we are good. A project that we were led to believe would take a couple of days took 5 weeks. There were numerous cancellation and delays and the most frustrating part was no communication. We had to reach out to find out the status on the days we were expecting someone to be there. When we called the owner Mike his only answer was "pay what you agreed upon." He did not acknowledge the days we took off and waited that they didn't show. He did not acknowledge the time frames that were given and not kept. We are honest people. We will pay but are disappointed that we didn't even get an apology much less any compensation for our experience. read more

We decided we were done with real grass so it was time to evaluate artificial turf. We used Yelp and had six estimates. Mike was the best at providing information and was the only one who noticed a dip in our brick edging. We also liked the look of his grass samples and it's enhanced backing that none of the others offered. Their price was in the middle of the pack but their proposal information was the best. One of our neighbors had their front and back yard done by Turf Monster and the wow factor sealed our decision. They started the job on time and finished on time. They fixed the boarder issue and it looks great. The neighbors walking by, five this morning, all love the improvement. It looks real, but without the brown spots and dead area under the tree. The photos do not do it justice as the job was done yesterday and the grass needs to adjust to its freedom from being rolled up. But even with that it looks like real grass. Hired to landscape around my pool, plant bushes, drip systems, spread rock, install turf, and install lighting. Spent 13k. They tried to install a 5.00 timer from ACE hardware until I caught it. They installed a bad valve, which caused my system to leak for months until my neighbor behind me had to come over since his retaining wall almost collapsed, not to mention my water bills. It took almost a month to get them back out here. The travertine border around my turf wasn't finished with concrete, so that had to be fixed it shifted within a week. Had to raise hell to the owner Mike, who said, and I quote, "They'd fix it and do something nice for my trouble." Well, they came out and fixed the border, and I was told the valve, timer, and border were fixed. Well, now that summers here, and all the bushes they planted are dead Since I added this review, I received a call from Mark, who not only yelled at me. Told me and I quote since I have it recorded.' I'll come over there and kick your fat ass, I'll bring a bag of flour with me to roll you in it first." Turf Monsters came recommended by another Scottsdale Ranch resident to which I use in April, 2023 for a 35' - Corn Hole court install. The sales person said they build these all the time and I trusted them only to measure after install and find our that the 35' Length install is only 33' which would explain the 5'x10' extra piece that was left in the yard. After three weeks of waiting for return calls and calling them back to be told I was harassing them I have decided to write this review to try and get owner Mike Freelands attention and to avoid this $300 additional cost they are trying to say I owe to have the court made properly.
