The excellence and beautiful transformation of my front yard speaks volumes about Turf Monsters and the quality you can expect when working with this company to improve your yard and home!! I was referred to Mike and Turf Monsters through a friend and was immediately impressed with the work I saw on the company IG page (turfmonstersaz). The day could not come quick enough when they started on my yard. In a few days, they turned my clay-based, site-for-sore-eyes front yard in Central Phoenix in to a water and maintenance free focal point of my house and neighborhood! It is hands down the best yard on the street. Neighbors have already come by to inquire about using Turf Monsters for their future projects. If you are looking to increase your property value or give your home the curb appeal you know your home is worth, look no further. Mike was super easy to reach through the whole process! We had to re-do our entire back yard which consisted of dead grass and old bricks user to border planters. After receiving 4 quotes, we chose Turf Monsters to do the job...they weren't the least or most expensive. Ryan from Turf Monsters came out and spoke with us. Of all companies we interviewed, Ryan best explained the products, process and expectations--He was the primary reason for our selection. We received a quote for work promptly, within less than a day. Work began about 3.5 weeks later. Adan (the installer) and his crew absolutely knocked it out of the park. They worked with us every step of the way during installation and didn't proceed to "the next step" until we were completely satisfied with the progress. All work was completed within less than two days and we could not be happier with the transformation! I would not hesitate to use again tor recommend! read more

Turf Monsters was a great experience from start to finish! Our Representative Eric was outstanding! His knowledge and willingness to get our plan just right, at the price we were looking to stay at was spot on! He was professional and very dedicated to getting it right! I would highly recommend Eric and the Turf Monsters. Jim Omeara read more

Turf Monsters helped us create the exact backyard oasis that we wanted. Jaden coordinated the project and helped us decide on material. Jaden came by periodically to check on things and make sure the job was done right. We did the job in two phases, but never felt pressured by Turf Monsters to move faster or spend more than we wanted. Communication was good. Dante and his crew handled most of the construction with the exception of the pergola. It was clear that the installers took a great deal of pride in their work and we really appreciated their craftsmanship and professionalism. read more

As far as the finished product we are satisfied. One small thing to address and we are good. A project that we were led to believe would take a couple of days took 5 weeks. There were numerous cancellation and delays and the most frustrating part was no communication. We had to reach out to find out the status on the days we were expecting someone to be there. When we called the owner Mike his only answer was "pay what you agreed upon." He did not acknowledge the days we took off and waited that they didn't show. He did not acknowledge the time frames that were given and not kept. We are honest people. We will pay but are disappointed that we didn't even get an apology much less any compensation for our experience. read more

I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. I have a cabin in Happy Jack which is 2 hours from the valley. Mike, the owner worked with me through phones calls, my measurements and photos of the area I wanted turf. He gave me a fair quote. His team lead, by Kevin, did an amazing job. They showed up at 7 AM and immediately prepped the area. I have a gravel driveway and they cleared a section of the gravel to dump the 7 tons of base prior to the truck arriving. The entire crew worked well together and did the entire job in a day. When they left, they returned my gravel driveway to normal, picked up all trash and left no sign that they were there. The mark of a professional company. And of course it looks amazing! Thanks Mike, Kevin and the entire Turf Monster Team! read more

UPDATE- our original salesman was Iniko who I would not recommend due to him not taking accountability for his team. Ryan Polk ended up being the one to come out and make sure it was fixed and agreed it was botched the first time. He was wonderful and it looks great now. I would definitely recommend him. Frustrated with the process but it ended well read more

The "look" is great the workmanship not so much! Communication was difficult once the Forman left the job site (my home). My backyard looks amazing but they cut corners and didn't finish everything as they should have. Installing drip systems is NOT THEIR AREA OF EXPERTISE! Turf and pavers great. read more

Great company and incredible crew! Ryan welcomed our own design and input and he made himself available for questions or concerns. There were some hiccups along the way, however each time they were articulated, Ryan and Kevin (the foreman) stepped up. An extra shoutout to Kevin, and his crew - their work product and work ethic was impressive. We highly recommend Turf Monsters. After getting bids from three reputable companies, we went with Turf Monsters because of Jadon's communication skills and extra effort in wanting the business. We decided we were done with real grass so it was time to evaluate artificial turf. We used Yelp and had six estimates. Mike was the best at providing information and was the only one who noticed a dip in our brick edging. We also liked the look of his grass samples and it's enhanced backing that none of the others offered. Their price was in the middle of the pack but their proposal information was the best. One of our neighbors had their front and back yard done by Turf Monster and the wow factor sealed our decision. They started the job on time and finished on time. They fixed the boarder issue and it looks great. The neighbors walking by, five this morning, all love the improvement. It looks real, but without the brown spots and dead area under the tree. The photos do not do it justice as the job was done yesterday and the grass needs to adjust to its freedom from being rolled up. But even with that it looks like real grass. Going with artificial will drastically cut our water bill along with a reduction in landscape maintenance cost. The big question, would I use them again? Yes without calling anyone else. read more

We CAN NOT say enough about the professionalism, quality and superior workmanship of the TURF MONSTER team. Our backyard was a mess and after sharing our vision with Mike his team went to work! The scheduling and delivery of materials was flawless (despite severe paver shortages) and their very skilled craftsmen created a putting green OASIS with a paver design that is second to none. We didn't stop with the hardscape and artificial turf, they helped us design lighting for the front and backyard and also updated our irrigation. Pricing... COMPETITIVE and fair Quality... AMERICAN MADE with excellent installation Design... SUPERIOR with attention to every detail Personnel... SKILLED and professional They also referred a sub contractor for sun screens and all of our questions were answered with care and patience. We felt APPRECIATED as customers and they installed our turf and hardscape as if they would be enjoying it with us. Their crew was great. Call them out for a quote and judge for yourself. They have our vote of confidence in every category. read more

Turf Monsters has blown away my expectations. I spoke to numerous turf and paver companies prior to hiring and felt exhausted when it came to landscaping until I found Mike at Turf Monsters. Mike managed my project from start to finish. He helped edit my design I envisioned, set up a crew in a timely manner, kept to his word with a promised finish date, and made sure in the end that I was fully happy with the project outcome. I am more than happy with the finished outcome! Turf Monsters did both my front and back yard including: Water drip line, perimeter lighting, pavers, and turf. Mark was also involved with making sure everything came out to perfection. When any kind of question arose, both Mike and Mark were quick to answer. I have already recommended Turf Monsters to several family and friends and will continue to do so as they are well worth it! Take a look at the photos, need I say more? read more

Hired to landscape around my pool, plant bushes, drip systems, spread rock, install turf, and install lighting. Spent 13k. They tried to install a 5.00 timer from ACE hardware until I caught it. They installed a bad valve, which caused my system to leak for months until my neighbor behind me had to come over since his retaining wall almost collapsed, not to mention my water bills. It took almost a month to get them back out here. The travertine border around my turf wasn't finished with concrete, so that had to be fixed it shifted within a week. Had to raise hell to the owner Mike, who said, and I quote, "They'd fix it and do something nice for my trouble." Well, they came out and fixed the border, and I was told the valve, timer, and border were fixed. Well, now that summers here, and all the bushes they planted are dead Since I added this review, I received a call from Mark, who not only yelled at me. Told me and I quote since I have it recorded.' I'll come over there and kick your fat ass, I'll bring a bag of flour with me to roll you in it first." This is my first landscaping project, and I could not have asked for a better team to help me transform my backyard. Turf Monsters AZ, especially Mike and Ryan, have exceeded my expectations on landscaping knowledge/design, customer satisfaction, and professionalism. I am an indecisive person with limited creativity for landscaping, but Mike and Ryan made the process so much easier. Turf Monsters AZ offered many options for design, types of artificial turf, pavers, plants, as well as lighting. I had simple ideas on the appearance of my backyard, but they are truly experts in landscaping and were able to transcend my vision. With their help, I was able to add pet turf, pavers, borders, AND lights! My backyard used to be my least favorite area, but now is my favorite. They did a fantastic job, and I could not be any happier! Cost was a priority for me when finding a landscaping company to work with. As a customer, I wanted a low/fair price that was within my budget, but I understand that companies need to profit too. Quality work is not cheap, but Turf Monsters AZ made it possible to get quality service at a reasonable price! I had researched 3 landscaping companies, and Turf Monsters AZ offered us the best price for everything we got. I am grateful that Mike and Ryan were able to work within my budget, and still brought my vision to life and more! Words cannot even describe their outstanding professionalism. From the beginning to the end of the project, they continued to showcase efficiency, accountability, and patience. Since this was my first landscaping project, I had many questions and modifications. Mike and Ryan patiently resolved all concerns and provided great advice for ways to reduce cost or adjust the design. Overall, this project was made possible thanks to Mike and Ryan. They have exceeded my expectations in all areas for this project! They are truly visionaries of landscaping, and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. read more

Written by my wife: My husband and I recently hired Turf Monsters to install synthetic turf, sprinklers, and pavers in our backyard. We spent years preparing, planning, and getting into a good financial space to make this project happen, so it was a major deal for us to finally make that phone call to an actual company. Eric came to meet us for our initial consult, and was extremely communicative, understanding, and thorough. He understood my vision and we quickly created a layout for the first stage of our backyard. I also loved how open and honest he was about pricing and helped work with us to fit within our budget. The crew was able to get started a couple of weeks ahead of schedule, which was such a pleasant surprise. They were respectful, hard working, and I loved how they performed each step with surgeon-like precision. After the work was completed, the final result was better than I ever could have imagined. Our backyard was transformed in only two days. I had tears in my eyes watching my children run outside for the first time on our new turf. Turf Monsters, I cannot thank you enough for making our vision come to life. It feels good knowing we made the right choice for our landscaping needs. I will definitely be calling Turf Monsters again in the future projects and highly recommend them if you truly want the best. Thank you for making our dreams a reality!! read more

A referral from our designer, we love this outfit. We had them replace the complete irrigation system of our entire property, and install high-quality, realistic, pet-friendly artificial turf in our backyard. The lead Mike did a great job of working w/ us to get us what we wanted, and Jesse & his crew were dynamite: professional, detailed, hard-working, meticulous, friendly, and punctual every day. I haven't even done business with them and I'm already getting attitude from their employees. I made an appointment almost a month ago and then got a random ass number from out of state calling. I canceled the appointment and get an attitude from this dude. Seriously? My fucking bad I forgot an appointment that your company was too busy and pushed out a month and failed to provide a follow up call. Turf Monsters - Lots of demo, pavers, sidewalk with "movement" and artificial turf. - Landscaping Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I walked barefooted on my new artificial grass tonight. Why was this unusual? We have a large backyard and smaller front yard that was natural grass. By large I mean nearly Olympic pool size. Yes, we could have added a pool instead of turf but the cost, maintenance charges, water, and worry about drownings dissuaded that thought. Turf Monsters arrived this past Friday, stripped the grass which was filled with little mites, weeds, and bare spots despite our landscapers best efforts. Even after putting in winter rye each year I wouldn't walk on it barefoot. Turf Monsters evened out all the divots and now we have a smooth green surface that competes with the finest gardens, all done by Monday noon. 3.5 days to complete miraculous change. No more watering (averaged over $300 per mo) or landscapers ($50 per week). And it is downright beautiful. read more
