First and foremost, I absolutely loved my natural grass! I took immense pride in maintaining my lawn and even engaged in a friendly competition with my neighbor for the title of "best lawn" twice a year--once in winter and once in summer. However, due to the escalating water costs and the alarming drought we've been experiencing in Arizona, I've been researching artificial turf for the past year. After much deliberation, I finally made the difficult decision to at least obtain a quote for artificial turf. I reached out to Turf Monsters for a consultation, and promptly arrived Steve, a friendly and approachable individual who visited my home to provide me with a complimentary quote and a variety of turf options to consider. Steve was incredibly informative and offered my wife and me a no-pressure consultation, allowing us to select package options for an overall installed price presented on a user-friendly electronic proposal. We decided to go with a rye winter turf that closely resembled the appearance of our best winter natural grass. After confirming our decision with Steve, we were scheduled for installation approximately 10 days later, and to our delight, the turf was installed in just one day! We couldn't be happier with the outcome. I'm still looking for ways to fill my free weekend time that I used to spend meticulously caring for our lawn. Thank you to Steve and the Turf Monster team for making the entire process of transforming our backyard into an environmentally friendly, low-maintenance, and visually appealing space an enjoyable experience. We are thrilled we get to enjoy this beautiful backyard for years to come! Paul & Kelly - Anthem, AZ read more

An absolutely amazing job! After loads of research, I finally made the decision to put in artificial turf. I interviewed six companies. All were very good at coming out and giving me bids in a very prompt and professional manner. The very last company, Turf Monsters AZ checked all the boxes. The sales person, Jeff, was very professional , courteous and understood what I was looking for in value. I decided on Everglade fescue pro, ani ncredible product by TigerTurf. His quote was prompt and quite competitive. He called me the next day to ask me if I had any questions or concerns. He was not pushy or aggressive but was in the only one to follow up the very next day following the bid, which I certainly appreciated. The entire front office at Turf Monsters, AZ, the sales person, and the owner, Mike , were engaged in this project. Mike's enthusiasm and his understanding of my project was quite evident. All of the phone calls were very prompt and pleasant. Approximately 10 days later, the installation team arrived at 6:15 AM. What an effort! There were six men here for two very full days. Such hard workers! The teamwork was incredible. The installation was efficient and above all, meticulous. The finished product far exceeded my expectations in improving my properties appearance. I would recommend without reservation, Turf Monsters AZ. Jeff was readily available throughout the bidding process and the installation. He made sure that I would be thrilled with the results. This is the way a company should run. I cannot say enough about the results. Perfect in every way. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Turf Monsters warrants one. From the beginning, their team appeared more focused on finishing quickly than on doing the job correctly. Part of their responsibility before installing the turf was to properly prepare the yard, which included the removal of plants, roots, and vegetation, to ensure a smooth, stable surface. This preparation alone cost an additional $1,500. Unfortunately, it's clear that this critical step was not completed with care. Less than six months after installation, a root from a supposedly "removed" plant began pushing up through the turf. This completely undermines the purpose of investing in artificial grass. I reached out to the company expecting a prompt and professional resolution to what was clearly a preparation issue. Instead, I was met with two months of unresponsiveness, followed by an unreasonable $900 quote to fix their mistake, along with several weak excuses, and no meaningful action. A reputable company would have acknowledged and corrected the issue without hesitation. Instead, I was left with damaged turf, a tripping hazard, and the frustration of dealing with a business that refuses to stand behind its work. If you value quality, accountability, and long-term satisfaction, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The turf may look fine at first, but poor preparation and a lack of customer service will end up costing you far more in time, money, and frustration. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

In the past, we've had a terrible and disappointing experience with several contractors we hired. We weren't really looking forward to going through another project, but wanted our yard refreshed. We wanted a few large plants removed, an old brick border replaced and new artificial turf to replace the natural grass. Fortunately, our experience with Turf Monsters has been a very pleasant surprise. Ryan was a pleasure to work with from the minute he arrived. He's a pro. He was always prompt and courteous. He really knows his stuff and made several suggestions that certainly saved us from disappointing ourselves with the project results. Everything went extremely smoothly. Ryan was easy to work with and very patient with us as we worked through the details. All of the tasks occurred in exactly the sequence and timing that Ryan told us they would. Armando brought the crew out on time and ready to go. Everyone on the team was proficient and pleasant to work with. They went above and beyond our expectations and certainly left the yard a whole lot nicer than they found it. Everything looked new and spotless when they left. Nothing but great things to say about every person involved. We love the yard and believe we got an exceptional value for the money. read more

Finding a contractor that combines quality workmanship with great communication can be challenging, but Turf Monsters exceeded our expectations in every way. We hired them for turf installation, landscape lighting, and water line work, and the entire experience was outstanding. Anthony was fantastic to work with throughout the project. He was responsive, transparent, and made sure we always knew what to expect. A special thank you to Francisco, the project lead. We apprciated his professionalism. Anthony & Francisco checked in with us every morning before work began and again at the end of each day to review progress and answer questions. That level of communication gave us confidence that our project was in good hands. The crew was dependable, respectful of our property, and maintained a clean worksite throughout the project. When a few minor unexpected issues arose, they addressed them quickly and professionally without missing a beat. The finished product looks amazing, and it's clear the team takes pride in their work. We highly recommend Turf Monsters to anyone looking for a company that values quality, communication, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Thank you, Anthony, Francisco, and the entire team for a job well done! read more

I wanted to transform my backyard with its 55 x 22 feet grassy area into a pitch and putt golf course. The slope of the lawn dropped 9" from back to front with a low point in the middle which turned into a lake when it rained. My solution was to design my course with the low area dug out deeper and partially filled with gravel to look like a dry creek bed. Placing a 4 hole putting green on one end of the yard with higher turf to separate it from a 5 hole green at the other end allowed a player to pitch and putt back and forth for a 9 hole game. Turf Monsters pulled off the plan perfectly. Seeing it completed, my wife said, "It looks like someone dropped a park into our backyard." Zach, Kevin and the rest of the crew are a dependable group of artistic perfectionists who finished my backyard + front yard + removal of an old leaky sprinkler system + putting in new water lines to our trees and shrubs + removal of 10 old ratty looking shrubs + installing new yard lighting all in FOUR DAYS! They did an amazing job at a reasonable price. My wife and I are thrilled with their work. read more

Backyard Landscaping Review - Turf Monsters I recently had my backyard transformed by Turf Monsters, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Anthony and his team did an outstanding job creating a beautiful desert landscape using rock and drought-friendly design that fits perfectly with the Arizona climate. From start to finish, Anthony went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. He was professional, communicative, and genuinely cared about the outcome of the project. When a couple of small issues came up during the process, Anthony addressed them immediately and made sure I was completely satisfied with the final result. The finished product exceeded my expectations--the layout, the rock work, and the clean, low-maintenance design all came together beautifully. It's now a space I enjoy being in and am proud to show off. I highly recommend Turf Monsters and especially Anthony for anyone considering a desert landscape makeover. Their work is high-quality, and their commitment to customer satisfaction truly sets them apart. read more

We are enjoying our newly renovated back yard golf greens via Turf Monsters and wanted to send our heartfelt compliments for a job well done. We were so happy to get an immediate quote at the time of initial consult. We did shop other contractors and Turf Monsters had an A+ BBB rating, great reviews, a ROC license, and quoted a reasonable price. Their turf product is "Made in USA", of non- toxic, lead free, nylon yarn (that reduces heat retention). So we feel like we received a good product at a good price, and installed by an awesome crew of 5. The entire crew worked incredibly hard removing existing Bermuda grass, and hauling in many, many tons of underlay material, tamping and shaping the course exactly to our desires. It was obvious the crew was a seasoned group, all knowing the many steps to laying turf correctly, especially important for a golf green! Again we received great service, a good price, and a superior quality product! Thank You Turf Monsters!!! read more

I still can't believe how beautiful my yard looks thanks to Turf Monsters! I put my backyard remodel on hold for months feeling so defeated from high estimates and lack of partnership from other landscape companies. One call to Turf Monsters and I knew this company was something special. Ryan managed my project from start to finish, helping bring my vision to life beyond what I imagined. Ryan did a great job answering all my questions, working around my schedule and organizing the crew and materials for the job. The project included demo of my old yard, a new modern layout with pavers, turf and new rock. They were even able to use my existing landscape lights, fitting them into the new layout. Luis and his crew were at my house by 7am every morning working diligently on my yard. They communicated along the way, checking in periodically to make sure I was happy with how the project was coming along. I highly recommend this company, you won't regret it! read more

I selected Turf Monsters based on several Yelp reviews. When i called the Office for a quote they sent somebody quickly, and provided a quote that i felt was a great value. Due to their schedule, i was not able to get the job done immediately, but Turf Monsters completed the job today and it has completely transformed my yard. It was larger back yard with all rock. The company came in providing color to the yard. The company worked well with my budget, and was able to meet all of my backyard needs. It now has become a place where kids are going to want to hang out, play soccer or toss the football, and can even turn it into movie night sometime. Certainly something that i could not do with the rocks that were in place when i bought the house originally. I had one very minor complaint with the work, but Ryan has volunteered to come back on his own time to take care of that concern. Overall, we are very happy with the project. read more

Turf Monsters is hands down the best company in the Valley! If you are on the fence about who to hire for artificial turf in Arizona, stop looking. I don't normally write reviews, but they absolutely nailed my yard transformation and earned every single star. What makes them different is that they actually care about the engineering underneath the grass. They took the time to explain the drainage, the base prep, and exactly why their turf holds up in the desert heat...things other companies hardly mention. It gave me complete confidence in the investment. The installation itself was flawless. The crew was punctual, fast, and absolute perfectionists. You can tell they take pride in their work. The turf is incredibly soft and super realistic. My yard genuinely looks like a luxury model home now. If you want an honest, reliable company with bulletproof results, save yourself the time and just hire Turf Monsters. read more

Turf Monsters has been fantastic from the very beginning. I first met with Steve, who walked us through design suggestions and then provided renderings that really helped bring our ideas to life. After making some adjustments to fit our budget, we were soon working with Armando and his crew. Armando kept us informed every step of the way and addressed any questions with professionalism and care. The crew itself was hardworking, respectful, and friendly. They worked quietly for days in the middle of the Arizona summer, barely stopping except for quick breaks. I eventually encouraged them to put some music on as they had definitely earned it with their work ethic! Steve also stayed in touch throughout major milestones, which made the process feel seamless. The end result is a backyard we can finally enjoy and use. We couldn't be happier with Turf Monsters and highly recommend them. read more

Our experience was excellent! Sean is exceptional! He patiently walked us through the planning and design process. He was patient and helpful in guiding us towards creative solutions in order to stay within our budget. He was on site to project manage during the landscape renovation and he completed a thorough walk-through with us afterwards. He let no detail be left less than perfect. His worm, professional, can-do attitude, combined with his attention to detail and perfection, are unmatched. We are so thrilled with our experience and the completed project that I canvased our neighborhood with 50 personal letters and business cards on behalf of Turf Monsters. This was 100% on my own initiative because we had such an exceptional experience that we want to share it with others. We highly recommend Sean and Turf Masters. We are 100% confident that you will not be disappointed. read more

Turf Monsters installed a paver border around the driveway and front entrance side walk. They also created a paver patio in back of house adjacent to existing patio and installed a large turf area with a paver border. It all looks fantastic and I have received several compliments on how great it looks. The company was responsive and took in my ideas and created the look I wanted. The project manager Anthony was very helpful. Gave me a fair, straight forward estimate for the work and was involved throughout the project. The installer Javier is a true craftsman. He worked his butt off getting the job done correctly, He would explain what he was doing when I asked and did many little extra things I requested and did a few things above and beyond what I asked for. Im totally satisfied and finally have the back yard and entryway that I had imagined. Thanks Tim Sullivan Mesa read more

Turf Monsters knocked it out of the park! We hired Turf Monsters for a unique project at Mountain Ridge High School for our Track and Field program, and they made our vision come to life. This wasn't a standard install -- we had specific ideas, and Turf Monsters listened and delivered exactly what we had in mind. Communication was excellent throughout. They showed up exactly when they said they would and got everything done quickly without cutting corners. The finished result for our shot put deck/area is something our coaches, athletes, and Mountain Ridge community can be proud of. They were also very competitive on pricing. As a real estate broker, I have seen the aftermath of many not-so-great companies. They have now moved to the top of my referral list. And I look forward to working with them again in the near future. I highly recommend Mike and his team. read more
